The greninja design is even more fitting when you consider the phrase "cold blooded killer" that could be applied to an assassin, which isn't far off a ninja.
For the Greninja I would've frozen solid the tip of his scarf, that could be a reference to when characters in movies get their tongue stuck to a frozen posts or sth like that. It could also serve as his main weapon, being basically a frozen tongue scarf mace. Wouldn't that be awesome?

This necromancer variant is still quite cute, as well, and I could also see it not just bringing the dead back to life, but also simply being a guide for the dead to reach the afterlife. As for Pokemon that carry objects, I more don't like when it's been there the entire time like in the case of Timburr or especially Cubone, and especially when they don't occur in nature like the shape of Timburr's log; there are no perfect square-shaped trees naturally occurring, after all, meaning that its wood has to have been put through a process that I would not be surprised if only humans or human-made tools would have been able to pull off. Animals can learn to use or even at times make tools, after all; especially monkeys; and it does make sense for the object they carry to have occurred in nature like Delphox's stick/this new Delphox's entire tree limb. Granted, Cubone's bone and skull helmet do occur in nature, but the fact that it hatches from an egg with those items and that that egg could have been from a Cubone or Marowak that is still alive wrecks its lore completely. Delphox's wand, however, is a very natural evolution; no pun intended; it starts out eating sticks as a Fennekin, then picks one up to use as a Braixen, and then lights it aflame as a Delphox. It would be a cute quirk for a Braixen or Delphox to accidentally chew on their stick when hungry or nervous and thus occasionally have to replace it, though, lol. As for Greninja, while I do like what you went for here; it does look pretty *cool,* lol; I would probably have gone more into if there are any other cultures' actual somewhat-military warriors that happened to be more like the Japanese ninja. Unfortunately, modern military spies the likes of which are incredibly romanticized in 007, Metal Gear Solid, Siphon Filter, or Splinter Cell are all that I currently know of such stealth-oriented warriors, and of course that inspiration's already done by Inteleon.
I like the fact that Infernape’s regional variant design is focused on Sun Wukong on supernatural abilities and cloud surfing. Empolean’s regional variant Water/Electric typing is so unique and cool and it’s inspiration for Zeus. I like the WildWest inspiration on Serperior regional variant and it’s Grass/Ground typing. I like Great Britian’s monarchy and King’s inspiration on Emboar’s regional variant and it’s Fire/Steel typing and Chestnaught Grass/Steel typing. Delphox Fire/Ghost type is amazing and the mage necromancer archetype works well! And Greninja tongue scarf being the inspiration for Greninja’s regional variant is interesting and it’s water ice type reflecting a scarf that is keeping your body warm nice.
Love the designs. Would've loved to see a Poison Greninja due to the Tera Raids. Ghost Delphox is cool, always wanted a Fairy one to be the Type's XY poster child.
You came to greninja ice typing but didn't scratch the wood frog thing: that he can become frozen for months before waking up in warmer seasons. Kinda funny xD

Adding on to what you commented. Its a naturally occurring antifreeze agent that the frogs produce that is circulating around in the blood stream. Its a really cool concept to think of a Greninja with high concentrations of natural antifreeze in their blood that allows them to be nimble, even in freezing winter. It could live normally with blood that remains liquid at below freezing temperatures. An interesting ability would be that if Sunny Day is active that Greninja gets a speed stat increase, but it takes damage each turn from over heating because its blood is boiling, and that compliments the fact that they are immune to the damage effects from hail because they are an ice type.
Funnily enough, I made my own starter regional forms recently (two days ago). A Grass/Fairy Torterra semi-based on The Garden of Eden from the bible. A Fire/Ice Emboar based on Ymir from Norse Mythology. And a Water/Psychic Inteleon based on a Chinese dragon...

I think you should have made Delphox Fire/Fairy, with a design inspiration pulled from various Maho Shojo series, and made Greninja Water/Fighting, with design aspects pulled from shonen/seinen anime. That would have made a Type triangle of Steel>Fairy>Fighting>Steel.
I had this idea of a regional Delphox but it came as a complete shock that no one thought of thinking of how to make Braixen and Delphox masculine with their skirt: Kilts. Making them a Galarian form in Tundra makes so much sense, considering how they miss a good attention to Wales and especially Scotland. So turning the Delphox robes to be the Kilt works perfectly for a masculine body without excessive redesign. The only issue is if the type should be Ice or Fighting.
I absolutely love the Chesnaught form. Chesnaught has always been a favorite of mine, and the regional form really enhances the parts that I love about it.
One thing we could try is a healer Delphox fairy/fire and it's wings act like the ear tufts that not many people like. More pink and I think that could turn out pretty cool too
I like the ear Tufts and think in a fairy version they could be twisted into a heart shape or something I think people hate Delphox mostly bc they think it looks too much like an anthro animal and a furry or whatever and they're scared of being bullied for that or smth idk
The design you have for a Fire/Ghost Delphox already sounds like a better design than the original concept, and that would probably redeem Delphox, as it is currently my least favorite fully evolved starter.
Necromancy is usually looked down upon and considered something “evil” so I would prefer a dark/ghost instead of fire/ghost but I do understand why it’s fire/ghost. Design still looks great tho!
While i like the Delphox concept, the coloring and removal of the wizard like robes are nice touches. It does feel like the fire/ghost combo is turning into the new fire/fighting starter trope. Not that that's a bad thing, Skeledirge is one of my new favorite pokemon. But I think if you wanted to keep to the magical and RPG roots with Delphox, I think making it more Druidic and going for a fire/Ground type and having more browns and blacks would have been a better and more original direction. but still, I like your regional variant of Delphox more than the official one LOL.
I had once thought of a non-water type Greninja regional variant that was based on a rōnin (a rogue samurai) that was a grass/dark type rather than water/dark type, as some samurais are depicted wearing straw hats, escpecially in games, that works perfectly as the Kalos starters are based on game character classes.
Like these, but think Delphox is a missed opportunity. There are multiple Fire/Ghost types, including two regional variants (Alolan Marowak and Hisuian Typhlosion) and two starters (Hisuian Typhlosion and Skeledirge). But there are no Fire/Fairy types at all. Fairy also seems to be the closest to a Magic type, and there are lots of mage variants that are either Fairy like or deal with fae. I think a trickster Illusionist Wizard type Delphox with the Fire/Fairy typing would be a stronger option.
I've enjoyed the series so far, and I look forward to seeing the final installment. For now, a few thoughts: It feels like Ghost is getting overrepresented, although the concepts individually are generally cool and make sense. I liked the Emboar redesign, but visually my first impression was Polynesian rather than European. I think a Water/Poison Greninja could also be an interesting take while retaining the conceptual synergy, although Ice Shard is a perfect fit for a ninja. Cheers
He stole delphox's pants 😭 my bro looks naked without any leg fur, im praying for him (I don't think the design is ugly it's just gonna take some getting used to btw XD)
The ice type greninja actually works really well because there is a frog species that during winter essentially freezes it self and would be considered dead only to thaw out once Winters over and be completely fine
@@macwelch8599 yes it was... I just said that I found the variant awesome... however fire electric makes more sense to a starter pokemon to maintain the base starter type in my opinion
I like how greninja references how sharp and spiked ice crystals are. Maybe you could say that this variant creates super sharp ice shurikens. When I see a snowflake i kinda remember of shurikens.
I'm a big fan of the Fire starters, but Empoleon's new variant won me over this time! I definitely want to see the final batch of what you come up with for variant starters!
I have an idea for a regional Delphox and Greninja separate from this video: One idea I have with a Delphox regional variant that keeps with its mage identity is to make it a Fire/Electric or Fire/Ice type (and carries moves from both Electric and Ice regardless of option chosen), as typical mages in RPGs carry multiple elemental attacks, with Fire usually being the most basic and Electric and Ice as secondary elements. Personally, I'll choose Fire/Ice so a regional Cinderace can be Fire/Electric and that Fire/Ice is only on an alternate form of a regional variant. An idea of a regional Greninja would be Water/Poison type, as even SV indirectly points out that Poison is THE Ninja type for Greninja's 7 star raid Tera Type, so to incorporate Poison into Greninja, it would utilizes gases that surround its body when making an escape, or for use as an offensive tool.
Tortrerra: While I stand by that I think seasonal forms are a bad idea, I think, as a single-form Regional Variant, this Torterra works. Changing the seasonal aspect of the Pokémon fits with Unova, and it is easily recognizable as itself. Infernape: I think this is actually a decent design for a regional Infernape. It does lose some of its typical features, but it is still easily recognizable and has the same proportions so it's easy to not mistake it for something else. I do, however, think this is a bad default pose. The hair riding feels akin to like something like Skeledirge's singing form, or Quaquaval's extended feathers; something it can do, but not its default state. Empoleon: I appreciate that this variant is in the same pose as its original. That's how it's done for most variants officially, and helps you see the differences and similarities more clearly. However, I feel like it doesn't change all that much. It gets some shoulders, ankle fur, a new mask, and that's kinda it. I also don't like that it just straight-up has a beard that fully replaces the stomach pattern. It makes the design feel a lot more boring that the original as its focal-point is just a giant patch of white. Changing the stomach pattern to an implied beard probably would have worked better. Serperior: Eh, it's fine. Kinda wish the poncho flared out a bit more to imply more bulk, or the rattle was more standout. Emboar: I think the overall design here is good. I kinda wish the chest pattern was a bit more different, and that the ears in the crown were a bit more pronounced, but this one looks great as a regional variant, especially since you changed up its expression, giving it a much different feel, which is something a lot of official variants do. But you kinda just gave it Serperior's theme of European royalty, which diminishes a lot of those returns. Since the Sinnoh starters are Europe, China, and Japan, it would have been nice if you'd picked areas that weren't already done before, instead of doubling up. Chesnaught: Oh, I like this one. Gotta say, I think the designs in this video are much more inline with actual Pokémon trends than the ones in the last video, despite my nitpicks. I would like to see this Chesnaught in the same pose as regular Chesnaught to help emphasize its differences a bit more. Delphox: This is probably the best variant in this video. It doesn't change THE POKéMON, it changes ITS FUR. It has the same physique, the same pose, but carries different emotions and changing out its wand for a staff and also swapping hands are nice touches. Excellent. Greninja: I don't know how I feel about this one. It's not bad, and I think the idea is pretty solid, I just think it's not for me specifically. I think I just don't like the three-pronged ears.
Great designs! My favourites were: Monferno pretty cool concept using more of the monkey king lore. Empoleon looks really good too, very fierce, Water/Electric is one of my favourite typings.I never liked Emboar original design, but yours look pretty awesome, it gives "Orc King" Vibes.
I actually thought of Fire/Psychic Infernape a long time ago, based on an excercize of giving all the starters up until that point unique typings. I changed Delphox to Fire/Fairy and gave Infernape Fire/Psychic because as "fighters" go I imagine Infernape as being very zen, and it can learn several psychic status moves already such as Calm Mind and Roleplay (in past gens). As for changes to this form I would reduce its physical attack to increase its speed and bump up its special attack slightly, as I don't see this Infernape throwing hands with its greater emphasis on magic. As for a new hidden ability I would give it Magic Guard, as some of the properties of Sun Wukong's hair is how it protects him and I see this Infernape's "hair" doing the same. To cap it all off I would give this Infernape a signature move "Immortal's Breath" based on the ability of the same name from Sun Wukong, an 80 base power psychic move with a high chance to burn the target.
2:45: -Torterra was hit by "Ice beam" while enemy Kyurem was Ice-terrastalized and holding a piece of Never-Melt Ice, and has DIED. -What!? Your TORTERRA is resurrecting.
These ideas for the Sinnoh Starters are absolutely incredible, and Empoleon in particular is, no pun intended, godlike. These designs are another proof why the Sinnoh starter line is my favorite starter-line of all time, because they all just work perfectly. Also your ideas for Serperior, Delphox and Greninja are excellent as well. I can easily see Infernape making it to Pokemon Legends Johto, and maybe Empoleon and Delphox as well.
The Unovan Infernape thing extends even further. The Journey to the West is an allegory for enlightenment, and Sun WuKong represents the mind. I don't know if that was intentional, but it's awesome!
ability consepts for the fakemon: tortera: unatural regrowth: this pokemon recovers 1/2 of its missing health every turn, unless it takes no direct damage infernape: blazeing soul: each turn this pokemon recives one of 3 effects, fire moves damage +60%, physic moves are guaranteed crits, damage taken -25% empoleon: absolute rule: this pokemon is unable to be crit, and has increased crit chance surperior: noontime showdown: if the both this pokemon and its target intend to attack, 50% chance for this pokemon to go first emboar: unshakable comand: this pokemon is unable to be prevented from attacking, instead giveing -1 priority(no confusion, flinching, or paralisis) chestnus: rapid adaption: this pokemon gains resistance to the last move it was hit with(it can even make the 4x effective fire into 1/2 damage) until a turn after it is hit by a move to another type, also imune to any pasive-non entry hazard damage delfox: reaper: when a pokemon faints, this pokemon recovers hp equal to 1/2 of the fainted pokemons max hp, even is this pokemon is not out in the battle graninja: when hit by a fire type move, affected with burn(takes no damage), or sunny day is used, 2 random states are boosted by one stage
Maybe somebody said this already but wood frogs can freeze solid in winter and reanimate in spring. Ice crystal daggers could take the place of the shuriken!
Delphox is based off of a shrine maiden. The design resembles that of the outfit they wear. The "wand" is short because it's a not a wand but a Gohei which is used to cleanse and preform exorcisms. I do like the alternate design based on a necromancer also.
my idea for a regional Greninja was a water/fighting type that uses it’s tongue like a flail, with water shurikens wrapped around the end of it for spikes the reason for this is that it evolved in ultra space to fight Stakatakas, along with a fire/fairy type Skelidirge that evolved to fight Guzlord and a grass/steel type Surperior that evolved to fight Nihilegos
I mostly like these designs, but I do have a few notes on a few of them I have a few love hate feelings with Infernape's new look, but the negatives are mostly on how it's hair is so big that it feels more like a gigantamax form then a regional variant. The other issue is how it's color isn't that much different than it's classic design, I do see some difference but it's not pronounced enough; I blame it on how the hair makes the body look smaller. The psychic type is a good choice though and think you did nothing wrong in your thought process. I'm not sure if Zeus is a good inspiration for Empoleon, at least a long as you're going to keep the water type (water is Poseidon's turf). As for the design itself, the only problem I have is that it's wings shouldn't be that blade shaped anymore after losing it's steel type. But inspiration aside, I'm a sucker for conflicting type combos like water/electric Don't have much to say about Serperior and Emboar (though I am likening Serperior's design a lot more), but I don't like your inspiration choices as it doesn't fit with Samurott that is clearly Japanese (a country) and not east Asian (a general region) I could argue that an Issue with Delphox is that it's now lack the fur on it's legs that made it look like it had a wizard robe, but I felt that the original did a bad job with it and made Delphox look weird. Honestly this design is an overall improvement. I like how in it's pose that part of the fluff of it's tail almost makes it looks like it's wearing a cape, I also prefer staffs over wands so that is another nice choice, and I think that's it's been established that adding a fire type to a ghost Pokémon is a good for establishing a spooky vibe. I can think of ways to improve it, but the design is already great as it is that I'm too afraid to make any suggestions The issue with Greninja is that looks too much like the original, but there is a quick fix for that. You're changes to the design itself are modest and not bad itself, but I think the colors are too close to the original. Maybe make the blue skin icy pale and the ice like additions a cool blue, you could even have the colors you currently have as it's shinny
Here's a justification for Greninja being an Ice-type. It's a Ninja, who else is a ninja, Sub-Zero. What element does Sub-Zero use? ICE! There you go, *Mind blown*
Was not expecting Ice Greninja, but I like it a lot. Some Ninja are depicted wearing white instead of black to blend in with snow so this works well for that too. I just was ready for Poison type since ninja were known to use poison for assassination.
I'm sorry, I'm listening, I swear, but you have Delphox in ace pride colors, and that makes my heart so happy. (I liked Delphox, but I do enjoy you new take on it.)
I think putting more of a Dimond shape on Greninja's knees and making it throw Kunai instead of Shuriken would have been a nice touch other than a love all the ideas.
Once again, here are my ideas for Regional Evolutions for the starters: Torterra: Grass/Ice. I always thought those three spikes on its “shell” were mountains, so why not make it carrying a single, larger mountain instead? Infernape: Fire/Flying. Plays into the aspect of flying on a cloud. Empoleon: Water/Ghost. If you can make an Empoleon based on Zeus, I can imagine one based on Hades. Serperior: Grass/Dragon. Makes it more resemble a titanoboa. Emboar: Fire/Ground. On all fours and due to the fact pigs are notorious for rolling in mud. Chesnaught; Grass/Rock. A reference to the Spiky Chestnuts in the original Mystery Dungeon games. Delphox: Fire/Dark. More resembles a witch, wand is now a broomstick, and practices “dark magic.” Greninja: Water/Poison. A reference to the poison dart frog, and it’s shurikens are darts now.
I would say fire dark for delphox would make sense bc the idea of a necromancer is that it’s a class above the dead, idk much about necromancers but I would imagine those who can bring others back from the dead are probably stronger than the dead and can control them, hence the dark type
Awesome thing about son wukong is that he has the ability to transform into many different animals and objects, so the infernape possibilities are basically limitless.
I won’t lie I enjoyed this one’s just like I enjoyed the first video so I really do wonder what the remaining starters would look like, and out of the ones that appeared in this video I really liked Empoleon’s and Delphox’s designs
3:46 I sure hope a potential Unova remake gets regional forms. There are definitely a few types that need more representation with Unova's limited dex. I'm not fighting Ghetsis's Hydreigon with Whimiscott (even though I really like it), the _only_ fairy in Unova currently (assuming no megas).
I once had an idea for an alternate varient of Meowscarada. Although it wouldn't have a different type, it would lean into the dark-type a bit more compared to the original. So instead of being based of a magician and a character similar to Zorro or Puss in Boots, they are instead are something of an assasin and something that is similar to Death from the recent Puss in Boots movie.

As a Pokémon unite player I enjoy you putting the clips of the Pokémon spotlight from unite really underated game😭
The instant I saw the regional Infernape, I knew EXACTLY what it was gonna be in terms of typing and reasoning behind design. Impeccable, I love it!!
I think a trickster Illusionist Wizard type Delphox with the Fire/Fairy typing would be a stronger option.
love the cowboy picture that you used. I actually know those guys. They work in Tombstone, Arizona. Been working next to them for years!
I've enjoyed the series so far, and I look forward to seeing the final installment. For now, a few thoughts:
It feels like Ghost is getting overrepresented, although the concepts individually are generally cool and make sense.
I liked the Emboar redesign, but visually my first impression was Polynesian rather than European.
I think a Water/Poison Greninja could also be an interesting take while retaining the conceptual synergy, although Ice Shard is a perfect fit for a ninja.
Cheers
Really like the Greninja and Delphox variants. I see grushia may have inspired the color palette
"If you make one more ghost type, we're fighting."
*Shows Delphox*
Name the place Hoops, we're throwing down.
That is one Majestic Empoleon!
Indeed.
I think Blaziken, or a different Pokémon that evolved from a Regional Form Torchic, would be awesome as a Electric/Fighting type
He already have done the regional Blaziken and it is awsome 😊😊
@@morenilloxxl I thought it was Fire/Electric type in that video?
@@macwelch8599 yes it was... I just said that I found the variant awesome... however fire electric makes more sense to a starter pokemon to maintain the base starter type in my opinion
@@morenilloxxl oh, ok
missed out on making greninja a sameri
I had actually thought of a Water/Ice regional Froakie line. I never drew it (I'm not good at art) though.
Slight missed opportunity to make delphox fire/dark since the dark type also beats ghost but resists them.
Great work on the mons. I definitely like the new Empoleon and Serperior. Keep it up!
I like how greninja references how sharp and spiked ice crystals are. Maybe you could say that this variant creates super sharp ice shurikens. When I see a snowflake i kinda remember of shurikens.
We need part 3 immediately!
I'm a big fan of the Fire starters, but Empoleon's new variant won me over this time! I definitely want to see the final batch of what you come up with for variant starters!
I have an idea for a regional Delphox and Greninja separate from this video:
One idea I have with a Delphox regional variant that keeps with its mage identity is to make it a Fire/Electric or Fire/Ice type (and carries moves from both Electric and Ice regardless of option chosen), as typical mages in RPGs carry multiple elemental attacks, with Fire usually being the most basic and Electric and Ice as secondary elements.
I love the Fire/Psychic regional variant of Infernape and the Grass/Ground reginal variant of Serperior 😍🔥💚🤎
2:45:
-Torterra was hit by "Ice beam" while enemy Kyurem was Ice-terrastalized and holding a piece of Never-Melt Ice, and has DIED.
-What!? Your TORTERRA is resurrecting.
Take a shot everytime hoops adds a ghost typing to the starters
I don't know if that was intentional, but it's awesome!
torterra got did so dirty, mans just got a recolor while the other two got entire redesigns
I LOVE THIS DELPHOX VARIANT I love the little fox family as is but this is epic! Game Freak make this a thing!
When I saw the ice-type Greninja, I thought it was based on one of two things:
1. Getting your tongue stuck to a frozen pole.
2. Sub-Zero.
I LOVE the Cloudwalker Wukong Infernape.
"I'm gonna redeem Delphox's design!"
*Horrifying legs follow*
I LOVE THAT YOU CHANGED DELPHOX’S WAND INTO A STAAAAAAFFFFF
ability consepts for the fakemon:
tortera: unatural regrowth: this pokemon recovers 1/2 of its missing health every turn, unless it takes no direct damage
infernape: blazeing soul: each turn this pokemon recives one of 3 effects, fire moves damage +60%, physic moves are guaranteed crits, damage taken -25%
empoleon: absolute rule: this pokemon is unable to be crit, and has increased crit chance
surperior: noontime showdown: if the both this pokemon and its target intend to attack, 50% chance for this pokemon to go first
emboar: unshakable comand: this pokemon is unable to be prevented from attacking, instead giveing -1 priority(no confusion, flinching, or paralisis)
chestnus: rapid adaption: this pokemon gains resistance to the last move it was hit with(it can even make the 4x effective fire into 1/2 damage) until a turn after it is hit by a move to another type, also imune to any pasive-non entry hazard damage
delfox: reaper: when a pokemon faints, this pokemon recovers hp equal to 1/2 of the fainted pokemons max hp, even is this pokemon is not out in the battle
graninja: when hit by a fire type move, affected with burn(takes no damage), or sunny day is used, 2 random states are boosted by one stage
That new Delphox form could be distenrly related to the Zoroark line with its colouring.
I cast my vote for a part 3! I really am enjoying the creativity of this series.
These look really amazing in their variant forms
Maybe somebody said this already but wood frogs can freeze solid in winter and reanimate in spring. Ice crystal daggers could take the place of the shuriken!
"Galarian Emboar" should have Iron Fist has it's hidden ability for obvious resions that had already stated.
That regional Infernape is siiiiiicccckkk
Definitely like that delphox’s colouring looks similar to its regular shiny colour
Very cool designs! I like the idea of greninja variant being water-poison and it throwing poison darts.
Delphox is based off of a shrine maiden. The design resembles that of the outfit they wear. The "wand" is short because it's a not a wand but a Gohei which is used to cleanse and preform exorcisms. I do like the alternate design based on a necromancer also.
Thank you so much for all videos you made. You are one of my absolutely best youtubers ever. :)
Jsi borec. Mám moc rád tvoji tvorbu.
You don’t need to imagine it it’s going to eventually happen. I bet we’re getting more Pokémon legends games.
Hopefully you are correct 🙏🙏
I would be surprised if we don't
Pokemon legend arceus = Pokemon scarlet Pokemon violet = ?????
we don’t know that
Given how well legends Arcues sold and received by fans I’d be shocked if they don’t continue with that idea
my idea for a regional Greninja was a water/fighting type that uses it’s tongue like a flail, with water shurikens wrapped around the end of it for spikes
the reason for this is that it evolved in ultra space to fight Stakatakas, along with a fire/fairy type Skelidirge that evolved to fight Guzlord and a grass/steel type Surperior that evolved to fight Nihilegos
That Delphox is insaaaaaaane. Love it.
That regional Infernape is siiiiiiick 😍 My jaw dropped
the infernape with the big pink hair looked so awesome, i would love to see a variant like that
I mostly like these designs, but I do have a few notes on a few of them
I have a few love hate feelings with Infernape's new look, but the negatives are mostly on how it's hair is so big that it feels more like a gigantamax form then a regional variant.
But inspiration aside, I'm a sucker for conflicting type combos like water/electric
Don't have much to say about Serperior and Emboar (though I am likening Serperior's design a lot more), but I don't like your inspiration choices as it doesn't fit with Samurott that is clearly Japanese (a country) and not east Asian (a general region)
I could argue that an Issue with Delphox is that it's now lack the fur on it's legs that made it look like it had a wizard robe, but I felt that the original did a bad job with it and made Delphox look weird. I can think of ways to improve it, but the design is already great as it is that I'm too afraid to make any suggestions
The issue with Greninja is that looks too much like the original, but there is a quick fix for that. You're changes to the design itself are modest and not bad itself, but I think the colors are too close to the original. Maybe make the blue skin icy pale and the ice like additions a cool blue, you could even have the colors you currently have as it's shinny
Design wise and considering Son Wukog is a big trickster fire/fairy is also a very good typing!
Cloud sufer as an ability on infernape would be cool. 2x speed in misty terrain.
Zeus Empoleon looks BADASS. I need a Dark-type Hades Empoleon to complete the trio.
another idea for Empolean, is pulling from Posiedon's title of the Earthshaker. Water/Rock or Water/Ground would work as typings.
Once again, here are my ideas for Regional Evolutions for the starters:
Torterra: Grass/Ice.
More resembles a witch, wand is now a broomstick, and practices “dark magic.”
Greninja: Water/Poison. A reference to the poison dart frog, and it’s shurikens are darts now.
I totally agree on Serperior's design inspiration since the Titanboa is the largest prehistoric snake ever.
I would say fire dark for delphox would make sense bc the idea of a necromancer is that it’s a class above the dead, idk much about necromancers but I would imagine those who can bring others back from the dead are probably stronger than the dead and can control them, hence the dark type
I like what you did with Serperior. That Wild West theme is SO much better than that French theme they gave it.
I love delphox and its design!!!!
me too !
I need the next part to this! I love this!
The ice type Greninja can have the hidden ability Skill Link which would be perfect for water shuriken and if were able to learn icicle spear
First one definitively had too little difference to the original form. You did him dirty 😁 The other ones are great.
Torterra could’ve been a grass/fire just because of how awesome the red/yellow leaves look.
The original Empoleon is just too iconic. My favorite Pokémon ever.
Awesome thing about son wukong is that he has the ability to transform into many different animals and objects, so the infernape possibilities are basically limitless.
....Transform as an Egg move when breed with ditto would make a good addition
You really love the ghost type. You've got at least 5 made with it.
I think Unovan variants of Sinnoh starters would be cool since B2/W2 had an event where could get Sinnoh starters with their hidden abilities.
I can’t wait to see what you do with Primarina!!! 🧜🏻♀️💖💙
Psychic Infernape with the good hair…clean
If you are going for a Grass Ghost Torterra, I would love to have the tree either be dead or surrounded by graves.
I could see the regional variant greninja ice skating🤩
Cool designs and inspirations!
