I used to do this on my 92 roadmaster. Although the program diagnostic numbers were different. Different buttons yes. But i used the speedometer feature on there i had it on one day i noticed the analog one on the dash was 4 mph less than the digital readout. HOWEVER one day i rolled through one of those highway speed traps. As i went by i kept my eye on both the digital readout and the "Your Speed" sign. It was literally DEAD ON THE MONEY. Which was unreal. So i actually used it pretty regularly. The analog speedo was off by 4 so. 60 was 56.
Never knew this. Thanks! Long live the lt1 roadmasters!
Love that tachometer setting!
will this work on my 86 buick park avenue? i would lov e to use the rpm and check temperature lol
Would love to know which stereo install kit he used.
how do i shut off the ac blower that wont shut off even when the car is off, wheres the darn fuse box under the hood?????
Hi Ruth, not sure if you still need help on your Roadmaster blower motor. The underhood fuse box is on the passenger side fender, right up near the rear hood hinge (6" square plastic box). As for the blower motor, almost for sure your blower motor control module is shorted out and not turning off the motor. Sometimes they also fail open and the motor doesn't run at all. It's pretty easy to replace, and you do NOT have to pay hundreds for it! I replaced it myself for $10, see my video here:

Let me know Ruth if you have any other questions - Cheers!~ Bellarmine
my 1996 roadmaster only blows on high and not any of the lower settings. Any pointers?
Blower motor resistor for sure, picked one up from the junkyard because it's a common issue
No way! I never knew you could do this. Gonna check mine out tomorrow. Thanks!
I believe these cars also had a transmission temp sensor. I remember having a code set that the number would raise up some while gassing it up a hill pulling hard. Had 3 digits and wasnt the coolant temp setting. Would be nice if there was a display on the dash with trans temp mine was decked up with towing options. Guess it doesn't matter too much. That car still ran like a top with 200k. And it pulled a good sized camper across the country plenty of times.
will this work on my 86 buick park avenue
no
@@jeffmayo5283 i scrapped it
@Dunoj I believe those two numbers are temperatures taken at two different locations (cylinder head vs water pump). Not 100% sure though.
are there any codes for a 2000 buick lesabre?
Great video!! Thanks!
This is very nifty, thanks for sharing.
This also works on cadillacs from the 80's 90's
how do I turn a ac on on a 95 Buick road master
Ahhh yes the wagon 95 that's 1 of 5588 made that year! Take good care of her! I have the 95 buick wagon as well! She's worth a lot as a parts car as well! An I also think that 5588 is counting the hursts as well! Could be wrong. She's rare
Nice Roadmaster...i've got a thing for the Big B-Body GM's of the 90's.
Excellent explanation!
Awesome. Thank you.
65˚C is 149˚F.
Thanks!
