Es una interpretación Maravillosa del Prestigioso Violinísta ; hace total entrega con fraseo de excelencia ; unido a un Nivel expresivo que nos recuerda siempre la calidad de su deslumbrante técnica .
pretty sure it's not ricochet technique; even though the bow bounces by the end, he is still rigidly putting force from the RH fingers for each individual note. it'd be difficult NOT to bounce a little on an upbow staccato with that much force, at that speed, for that many notes, but it's not the same kind of bounce as ricochet. by the way, that is extremely fast upbow staccato.
A PIANIST IS PERFORMING HERE TOO! THERE WOULD BE NO PERFORMANCE OF THIS WITHOUT THE PIANIST! WHO IS THE PIANIST? AMAZING IGNORANCE AND DISRESPECT TO NOT IDENTIFY THE PIANIST!
i guess it's better than no staccato (like me, or Josh Bell), but it's obviously not controlled. anything he plays staccato has to be that fast, or he can't play it. same thing with the Elgar - he has to delay the start of the staccato so he can end up on the next beat.
@@chuckcornelius194 If you really think when hearing Gitlis play you need to comment on his staccato... wow. Gitlis is the most unique interpreter. Staccato on a violin is an utter travesty, a useless and ugly technique that satisfies only violin players, not the general public.
The last of the magical golden age, R.I.P Maestro
Such a unique style. Gitlis truly was one of the great masters.
Прекрасный. Исполнитель.... Браво....

"The Legend"
" The most enjoyable Violinist ever" R.I.P
Many think that he doesn’t care or that he plays out of chaos … but no violinist has this amount of tonal Colors …

Unbelievable skill! His violin is an extension of his hands!
Genius! Glory of Lord!
I like Eugene Fodor's version the best, but Ivry Gitlis has always been among my favorite violinists, & this version is magnificent.
He played carelessly, but in I good way. I like it

Really interesting, his upbow staccato bounces or is that a true ricochet? Interested what someone more knowledgeable would say. 1:20ish

Horrible staccato..
Look at his Elgar's Le Capricieuse...
