- There is an ongoing controversy related to School Uniforms where some Muslim girl students of Udipi, Karnataka have been banned from wearing Hijabs in Schools. It resulted in many protests and counter-protests, where different people came with their own uniforms saying that it's their right to wear Saffron, or whatever they like. It has now taken the form of nationwide religious controversy. But what is the exact matter? Should we even care about Religion in Schools? Is this Secularism? What action did the government take? I talk about these things in this video and explain the entire Hijab Controversy.

Do you wear bikini in public areas? Muslims women can only open herself in front of her Husband, Father, Brother and non other than them

When is wearing a hijab became a choice? It was always a mandatory thing for Islam. And If you really want to preach its a choice, then first try wearing sarees or churidhars, and if no one scolds you or attacks you then you wearing hijab is indeed a choice.
@@daviddashi3422 wearing a hijab has become a choice over the period of time. I have a muslim friend and she doesn't wear hijab on a regular basis. In many islamic nations also, hijab is not compulsory.
@@hillaignorous Your friend is extremely privileged to be in a family that doesn't attack her on such things. But reality is way too different. I am from Kerala and rich muslims here like any other rich people are able to ignore social pressures and religious rules of wearing such attires. But for middle and lower class its a nightmare. Those girls don't even have the capacity to think about not wearing a hijab. So for them it feels like a choice when in reality its not. And climate wise its a very unwise choice just like coat and tie. Blind adaptation of dress without knowing why they are used for is what's wrong with us.
We muslims are not forced by our families to wear hijab, wearing hijab is our own choice, it make us feel like that we are safe and it's a pride for us❤

Alhamdulillah I am a Muslim female and a university lecturer too. I started wearing abaya and hijab 1 year back after I performed umrah. Since then I feel super blessed and protected.

I am a teacher, I was not allowed to wear a hijab in school and therefore forced to leave the job. It is very sad to know that this cheap mentality rises in the city like Mumbai. We respect every religion and we are born and brought up with our neighbours with different backgrounds different religions but never felt this much hate among religions which we have felt in recent years.
Their is a school dress code for both student and teacher you have to follow basic school rules

I’m an American. I have spoken to many Muslim women, they all said that they wear hijab by choice. Muslim men may not be forcing women to wear hijab, but Hindu men are forcing women to remove hijab.

Not all of sudden these things will keep on happening until UCC is implemented across whole country.Look at Goa there is and never was hatred since uniform civil code was implemented in goa.Hindu code bill was introduced in 1950 but even after ambedkars request nehru didn't introduced uniform civil code.Dhruv rathe is simply propaganda channel which will only show u one side of the story.

Living in Bangladesh, proudly saying that we never had to see this kind of situation at any educational institute.And moreover,here we live in quite peace.Almost no woman is bounded to wear hijab or burka except for a few numbers of religiously blinded people.The most hopeful matter is,here Hindus and muslims don't fight over this kind of issues.They generally don't hurt each other in any educational institute or corporate officees.We live in quite peace.

The wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) used to go to Al-Manasi, a vast open place (near Baqi` at Medina) to answer the call of nature at night. `Umar used to say to the Prophet (ﷺ) "Let your wives be veiled," but Allah's Apostle did not do so. One night Sauda bint Zam`a the wife of the Prophet (ﷺ) went out at `Isha' time and she was a tall lady. `Umar addressed her and said, "I have recognized you, O Sauda." He said so, as he desired eagerly that the verses of Al-Hijab (the observing of veils by the Muslim women) may be revealed. So Allah revealed the verses of "Al-Hijab" (A complete body cover excluding the eyes).
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ أَزْوَاجَ النَّبِيِّ، صلى الله عليه وسلم كُنَّ يَخْرُجْنَ بِاللَّيْلِ إِذَا تَبَرَّزْنَ إِلَى الْمَنَاصِعِ ـ وَهُوَ صَعِيدٌ أَفْيَحُ ـ فَكَانَ عُمَرُ يَقُولُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم احْجُبْ نِسَاءَكَ. فَلَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَفْعَلُ، فَخَرَجَتْ سَوْدَةُ بِنْتُ زَمْعَةَ زَوْجُ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَيْلَةً مِنَ اللَّيَالِي عِشَاءً، وَكَانَتِ امْرَأَةً طَوِيلَةً، فَنَادَاهَا عُمَرُ أَلاَ قَدْ عَرَفْنَاكِ يَا سَوْدَةُ. حِرْصًا عَلَى أَنْ يَنْزِلَ الْحِجَابُ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ آيَةَ الْحِجَابِ.

To some of these women, being expected to uncover their heads, instead of hijab, is comparable to Sikhs being told to cut their hair short like the other men, or Hindu women being told they need to wear dresses like other women, rather than saris. Practical & reasonable to some, THINK how offensive & ridiculous those would sound, feel, BE to Indians!! WHEN did Indians feel threatened by ANYone's religious attire? The India where I was born & raised, was always a place where any & all religions were celebrated. THAT's the India I take pride in!! Decades later, from the outside looking in, I hear of religious unrest in India & RIDICULOUS religious restrictions, arguments & battles, and it not only saddens me, it shocks me!! Where is the progress that Modi Dada boasts about? Technological progress & going to the moon, don't count when most Indians cannot afford to eat a decent meal or live in a decent home & tooo many of the country men & women are fighting over worship & religion. That too in In a country that has been renowned for it's Spirituality, Worship & Religious Tolerance World wide. Imposing one's views on others is the issue here. I am a Muslim woman born in a liberal Muslim family where hijab and religion were never a priority. My parents never ever said anything about wearing the hijab .
But as I grew older I started to question about the purpose of life and since Islam was the religion that was the most accessible to me , I started to look into it and found my answers…
It’s different for different people ..some find peace and solace in meditation,some in their religion and so on… Wearing the hijab was entirely my decision..it brought me peace and taught me to not feel insecure about my looks because a woman has so much to offer than her physical appearance.

I'm currently studying 12th , I have two best friends , one is Hindu , other is Sikh .... They invite me on Diwali , her family treats me like every other human being .... They send me gifts on my way back .... They even share their beliefs and enlighten me with some amusing facts about Hindu religion once in a while .....me being a Muslim , I invite them on EID ....since they are vegetarians so me and my family strictly follow vegetarian diet during EID wherever we invite them ..... I share some Islamic legends and stories with them , we're blessed to be grown in such a atmosphere.

I never celebrate Eid. Because there was no celebration of Eid in my school. Eid festival was so inclusive they themselves not allowed to celebrate it. Rest of the other were celebrated because all of them were exclusive. No restriction of which religion you are. Cuz after all stopping someone from wearing hijab means your hair should be shown after all right?
