    Whenever I see these videos I imagine the people living there, it’s so bizarre to me how this happens though like how NO ONE claims the belongings.. even if the bank seizes the house the belongs you would think would be claimed by someone

    Also that shotgun shell was just the shell. No load in it.

    Looks like a hoarder house. The kids didn't want anything to do with it.

    Cool find! But all of you should have been wearing N-95's, mold and other diseases like legionnaire's disease are nothing to mess around with. Keep yourself healthy so you can keep making great videos!

    J.k. odenwald had something to do with fire engines for some place back in the early 1920s. My memory is not the best but i believe that to be the case. Like he helped raise the money for the place he lived to buy one or something. So the plate might be a memorial thing or if it is his he moved late in life.

    Bullets are cash 💸 you can sell them at any pawn shop and the amount of Ammo you all ran into is into the thousands of dollars 💸. I collect Antique Weapons and the rounds can be quite pricey!!!!!

    Question, if you find things you'd like to restore could you legally take it? Because it's been abandoned?
    Or is it still illegal

    • @decayingmidwest
      @decayingmidwest  2 года назад +1

      Good question, all abandoned properties are owned by someone. Abandoned more or less means (neglected/forgotten). So all items inside belong to the (owner/property tax payer)

      @@decayingmidwest makes sense. Seeing that camera broke my heart. It would be hard to not take it and restore and rescue it lol. Being a photographer it's hard to see beautiful things and just let it go lol

    • @decayingmidwest
      @decayingmidwest  2 года назад

      @@WFP4ME if you ever find a place try to ask permission before you go and if you find an item the owner will probably let you have it

    You know these guys are taking what is a cool or worth money off camera haha.. when he asks him if he wants the camera but sets it to be got it’s just an on-camera thing

    • @decayingmidwest
      @decayingmidwest  Год назад +1

      Nope I never take anything. That would be theft. I told him to put the camera down and it’s probably still in the same spot
