As long as you know your cut settings work - because no way to leave secured to check cut before ejecting

First few hours device ran fine. Eventually it got to failing to register at a rate of almost 90%. I've reseated the units in the supplied jig multiple times, rebooted studio, my pc, and the individual components. I've fed these failed sheets by hand into the portrait 3 and had no problem. Autofeed would be an amazing function. Sadly the reliability issues encountered seems to create more unecessary processes than it actually eliminates.

Is it possible to use the feeder to feed sheets for different designs without barcodes? Like setting a queue of file 1, file 2, file 3, etc to print on sheet 1, sheet 2, etc?
can I do Die cut with the feeder ?
Can you test if it would work on the portrait 2 or original portrait? I know silhouettes marketing them for the new machines but maybe they’re also compatible with the old ones?

Hello is it okay to cut cardstock without the cutting mat? I tried using cardstock paper on cutting mat and it ended up really sticky.

No, it just auto feeds it for you

Hi Melissa, I purchased this through your link. It has never worked for me. I have tried several different types of sticker paper. What happens is that it scans paper, it starts to cut and the paper jams and smashes the sticker paper. Please help.
How many sheets of paper are you trying to load and is it glossy or matte?
@@SilhouetteSchool 1-3. I have tried both. I've changed settings. It still was cutting straight through and catching the paper as it cut. I finally changed the blade. Since it was new, I didn't think that anything was wrong with it. It wouldn't change lower than five. The new blade fixed my problem. Thanks for answering.
How many papers can be load to the machine? Thank you!
Silhouette says up to 25, but I would not load more than probably 10
Can we use the feeder for Cut projects? Or is it for print and cut only?
You need registration marks!
What adapter are you talking about? I am on mac. It's USB connection to the computer, right? What you need adapter for?
My MAC has a USB-C connection only so I need an adapter to plug the USB cord into
Thanks for the video! I was going crazy because mine was ejecting them to the back of the portrait but yours is too. Isn't it supposed to eject it back under the auto feeder tray as it does with the cameo4?
No, with the Portrait 3 it sends it out the back. With the CAMEO 4 it brings it under the feeder

Hello! I bought one, and been struggling with it. Please let me know if you been experiencing the same. The autofeeder “feeds the sheet into the portrait, portrait scans registration marks, but then ejects paper without cutting anything. It does the same for all following sheets

Ich habe ihn auch seit 2 Tagen, bin komplett enttäuacht. Nix klappt. Sie papiere werden schief eingezogen oder wellen sich beim zurückziehen in den feeder.
