@@DesignBundles HI Becky! My Air Explore 2 won't calibrate. I make stickers for my planner, and the basic boxes end up with the border on 2 sides, and 2 sides are white. Any stickers that are odd shapes (ex deco), get cut off on one side and extra white on the other. I always turn on bleed. I have done a "hard" firmware update 3 times (unplug, hold down load button, plug back in and power button is red, then update firmware in DS). I have also run the calibration a dozen or so times - it never cuts on the box, and sometimes the lettered and numbered lines are all identical - barely touching the black lines. 🤷♀️ If you have any ideas, I welcome them! 🙂

Hi! I Love your video! I was hoping to learn how to troubleshoot on how to properly register my prints so my cameo can cut. I'm at my wits figuring how to use it for my stickers.
I recommend checking your lighting when your machine is trying to read the registration marks. Sometimes too much light can cause it to read incorrectly.

What type of printer do I need to print on Vinyl sticker paper ? I currently have a Epson Expression XP1500 that use I use for my heat transfers, I want to be able to print on Vinyl as well.
Hey there! A regular inkjet printer will be just fine, and if you have a laser you'll just want to check out what materials are compatible with laser printers. Hey Suki! So I do have some basic tips for helping with alignment issues. Number one, always make sure that your screen matches your mat. So what this means is to double check that your page size is set correctly, that the margins on your printer aren't going to interfere, and that your registration marks are set up correctly. Number two, try adding an additional light source, some crafters even shine a flashlight over the area. Your Cameo has an optical lens that needs to "see" and heavy shadows or dim lighting can interfere. Number three, practice on copy paper before using more expensive material. This will help you with your frustration. You can also use sketch pens to "draw" where your cut will go, so you can test where the cut lines are before actually cutting. I'll put together a video on these tips soon so you can better see what I mean. Hope this helps! ---Becky

Hey Emily! Sorry to hear that your cut lines are so far off. I would do 2 things. First, switch over to copy paper for your testing so you can save your label sheets for when you are ready. Second, do you have a sketch pen? Sketch pens will write instead of cut, so you can see exactly where the cut lines would be without actually cutting. When you're ready to troubleshoot, I would take a few steps that usually make a huge difference: 1. Make sure your paper setup menu reflects exactly like what is on your cutting mat. Look and match up your registration marks, they should be in the same place on both your paper and the monitor (I had a huge issue with this on one of the recent updates). 2. Make sure you have accurate lighting, use a flashlight or lamp if you need to, it might make a difference. Ok, let me know what you think and we'll troubleshoot some more! ---Becky
