    Wait I’m confused since there’s a 1.26 stroke what will the top color do or will there be white around the top color?

    So choke basically does an in-line so it doesn’t show under the red for overbleed ... or am I just dumb and still not get it?

      Choke just means you make you image a little bit smaller all the way around so that no white shows when you print your color on top

      When you went to the options to print it. What did you do there when you selected the colors? Once again thanks for helping out

      sergnutz773 so if you make the entire design black and you add a blue stroke
      When you do print you deselect the blue and only print the black
      What way it subtracts that stroke from the image and it makes it 1.25 smaller all the way around

      Vega 23 so basically U can do a 2 color design just like this same process so there is no line between both colors

    Great video. I still remember when I would struggle to figure out the best way to do an underbase. But you always use 1.25 as the stroke?? I'm never really sure what stroke to use. Once I print my films, the difference is soo small that I doubt myself that I didn't use a big enough stroke.

      Yea
      Try it and you will love it
      When the line are really small you might just want to go 1 not 1.25 that way not everything disappears

    If I may ask, what rip software & what color separation software are you using? Is that illustrator CS6?

    I was following along just fine until you got to the print dialog box, im not able to deselect the magenta or process black. Dont know why.

      You might have the mode on composite
      See if you can change it to separations
      Or just make the stroke white and you won't have to worry about turning anything off

    Do you have to accu rip for this method ?

  • @mikeprice820
    @mikeprice820 5 лет назад +1

    Do you set the stroke to inside or center?

    • @Vega23
      @Vega23  5 лет назад

      It does it automatically
      You don’t have to change setting for this effect

    hey man! whats the difference in adding a stroke 1.0 in black and just printing it? im having issues sorry

    • @Vega23
      @Vega23  3 года назад

      You can choose any color for the stroke
      Just when you print out the film deselect the stroke color so that it doesn't print on the film

    I still don’t get it!! Why would you add a stroke to the base?? Shouldn’t you add a stroke to the color instead of the base??

    • @xxlilyxxd33
      @xxlilyxxd33 5 лет назад

      No bc u have to make the base smaller than the color so the white dont show

      Ya that’s what I thought. Maybe cause he added a stroke I thought you made it bigger

      I think this only works like this if you have a rip because if you're just using an ink jet printer you don't get those options for the output I don't think. I like the 1.25 stroke!

      I’ve never not had it
      When I started I bought everything at once
