I don't know if there is a better way to make this much money in this game but if there is I have to try it out. This game still has so many dumb ideas I can do so I can't wait to break it again!

the Iron conveyor that kept clogging up wasn't fully operational. You can see that the last segment wasn't actually moving, which caused the backup.

When you fuse materials they lose a ton of value so the first setup that you separate them and then smelting them would give you a ton more of money

I thought you couldn’t smelt resources together? If gold reached the cauldron first, then it’ll only melt gold, the rest of the raw won’t melt and/or will hang out above the cauldron
The reason why the last test didn't work is fairly simple. A smelter can only contain(at least so far as I've seen in the game) a single type of resource. So when you tried to put every single resource into a single smelter it clogged up since the resources not affected by the smelter stack.
I love how DF's voice is so soft but his brain is so psychotic sometimes.

Hey DF there is an item you can put on a belt to center resources. this might help with the objects bunching up on the edges of the conveyor. Also if you put a timer on a magnet you can have it turn off and on automatically forever so even if stuff jams up you have a way to stop it.
I feel like if you mix the auto sorter with that last idea you've got the way to fix the jamming issue
yeah because only one rescource can go into a smelter so it makes sense that if the smelter smelts iron and gold falls into it that it just overfills

You need to put the compressor for the germs at the end of the belt so that way they all automatically fall in the bucket so you don’t have to keep picking them up. All you have to do is pull the lever and obviously you can mix them all together and pull the lever so you only need one conveyor for gems
The gems would also not overflow, as the inside of a compressor is considered "hard storage" for the gems. (see gold and truck experiment.)

The last conveyor on the Iron part wasn't moving, hence why the iron was stacking.
You should do the massive mining with the god drill and such, but then lead the resources into smelters/gem compressors to make single bars/gems worth so much they break the bank.

I think the treasure chest is dependent on the same code as randomly found materials, which size scales based on value. Since chests have a static value, when duplicated, they spawn in proportionate to their value.
The funnel thing would have worked but iron cannot be smelted in a pot that is already smelting gold, and vise versa. You need to separate them using a sorter, then have them feed into their own pots
I'd like to see you with Josh making a mess or rather a masterpiece.

The way I ran the game when I first started out was getting a pipeline to automatically fill a pan with water so I could dump dirt in and not have to go to the river.

For Vanilla - the smelters will only smelt 1 type per smelter - so whichever lands in there first is what will be smelted, and the rest then stay as raw ores and thusly overflow. Don't know if that's the same for modded though - I'm waiting for the full release before I dip my toes into modded.
I think it makes alloys. I just think the smelter gets full. Or something. I can't remember.

The reason why this conveyor isn't working is, on this one you placed the water pipe after the conveyor belt.
this is a War against DF and Let’s game it out, they both really good entertainers
if you have a sorter with nothing on the top its a 50/50 which way the item goes. and you need each version of gems to sort them

The last part where you put everything into the smelter is HIGHLY inefficient. Seperating all of the resources gives you several higher-price bars (as well as compressing the gems gives you 3 [maybe 4] high-price gems!)
Imagine thinking any “container” will save you when it still has to literally keep track of all items in world. Metal soups are the only way to keep things running smooth. Another thing you should do on multi Goddrill setups is just pipe them all up and have a pipe controller to turn them all on or off at once.
Another another thing is the belt alignment hook that shifts everything to the middle actually helps keep thing running smoother with the level of outpost from the God machines. They are less likely to clog up a hopper since they’re going right down the middle but power crystals are the exception and will inevitably move wrong set in place in the world and cause problems. We need a Demigod set of machines that are a little less fucky.

If you want to stop the super machines from clogging, you can great a magnet that turns of and on every second or two. That should dislodge anything.
I think it was a certain red, and a certain blue fish that turned into unlimited fish cubes. A different youtuber that likes to make a mess with fish figured that out.

LOL, you went so far into game breaking that you came out the other end and started playing as intended.
Splitting the resources to fall into their respective crucibles at the last part would have made much more sense, but that would be the logical solution so i guess im fine with the outcome XD

Should've used the ore separator from 13:38 to make a machine that puts only iron in one cauldron, only gold in one, etc from 19:27. That would stop the congestion.

the smelter setup would've worked with all the sorters and a Gem Crusher mashine thing
if the materials become stackable into eachother while still loose on pallets, could you place your smelter on top of a pallet and to get everything into it could you place the drills in line directly above the conveyor?

Part of why it failed is because only one ore can be in one smelter
The exploit was for scrap with weird fractions of coins being sold not disappearing unfortunately the scape that stay is always under $1

DF, eachg cauldron can only handle one type of resource at a time, if you want to put them all in cauldrons, you have to have a cauldron for each one.
