- As a queer Christian walking the line of faith and identity at once is incredibly difficult at times.
There is a lot of ignorance within our church… but also a lot of love and understanding. Our job as queer Christian’s is to simply exist and love others as Jesus would. Then those who are not queer can see us for what we are. Human.
Jesus was a man who treated the outcast, the mentally ill, the sick, with love and respect.
Women who were treated terribly in this time were honoured by Jesus by being the first to find him after he was on the cross and had risen again.
Jesus loves everybody despite gender or sexuality. I know this in my heart of hearts and when I speak with God.
The challenges of coming out to Christian family are able to be overcome by separating the fear from the love and not letting fear win.
Community and family is more important than controlling how your loved ones identify.
Love pathes the way for there to be hope of families staying connected throughout their children’s Gender Dysphoria and queerness.
My sister who is in the photograph in the thumbnail was the only one I trusted when I came out and is a devout Christian.
It is possible to be both of faith and gay. I am living proof of that. You don’t need to lose your sense of community and family when you come out. You might reach out to other queer Christian’s or queer people in general. But there is no need to fall out with those you love. Not if they and you can see the light.
I kinda rambled a little here. I would like to clarify I do not know this mother’s child. I have not met them. I have no idea wether they are Trans or not just that it seems quite sudden for the mother and I was helping her through that.
I can see both sides now and I think that’s what God wanted from me.

As long as they respect their personal boundaries and love God

Life isn’t meant to be taken as seriously
