How do you get the locations and routes you have synced from the app to your instinct to come up on the watch? After I sync when I got to routes and locations it says there are non still.
Why Montana is not supported? This is absurd. Basecamp is being discontinued and explore doesn't support A LOT of Garmin devices. Why? And why the app is stuck while trying to download maps? No wonder it's rated 2.8 on Play Store. Sad...
Can that app do anything to plan trips? I can just add waypoints and routes, but not add waypoints from list to a route. Routes are only straight connections, no calculation under consideration of different types of activities. It is a mess with garmin, build nice hardware but the customer stand alone in the rain because there is no useful software to plan trips and outdoor activities. Here comes the user story: I as a user want to plan my outdoor activities on mobile devices like ipad or iphone oder android devices and transfer it easily to any garmin device via wifi, bluetooth or cable. I want to use tracks downloaded from the web, import them into the app, make changes on the track and transfer it to the Garmin device. Why is my Oregon 700 not supported? I would like to buy zumo xt for my motorbike but it makes no sense without any usable planning software.
I plan routes using Caltopo, then upload the GPX file to the Garmin. Really annoying that Garmin maps have all these trails and roads but you can't create a proper route using their software
Is there an app or website where I can log in from my phone or iPad to access the routes I have sent from a third party planner to Basecamp? So I can view and edit them. On my TomTom I can log into the TomTom my drive web page and then view, edit and sync a route to my navigation device. Struggling to figure this out with Garmin.
How do I create a course specifically for eg. a bike tour, road bike or mtb. Or it gives the same route no matter what type of activity I am planning for?
when saving waypoints as a collection on the app it should synchronize to your device as a route, instead it comes over to the Garmin device as a bunch of waypoints no longer grouped together in a route. lame
Create a route and add it to a collection. On the app, click on devices, select the device. You should see your collections, click on ADD TO . I think this means any routes you've saved in that collection automatically gets added.
Routes are straight lines. Looks pretty useless to me.

Added a dozen waypoints, synced them in a collection to the watch, but CANT find them in the watch.
No elevation data when creating a route??? It is useless to create in explore then. Better do i garmin connect
If I use Garmin explore does it use the more accurate GPS on my Garmin device somehow or does it still use my phone's GPS?

I can’t sync my Tactix Charlie with the Explore app
and the g. 935?
How do you view your route on your watch after creating and syncing?
@burmabaines answered this below. The key is after you add a route, add it to a collection, then sync.
