Quick question: Can you explain how you use the 50/50 lye solution. Do you add extra water
I would love to! Let’s say you have 100 oz of pre-made 50/50 lye solution, so 50 oz lye and 50 oz water. Then you run your recipe through a calculator with 50/50 concentration to see how much of each you will need for that recipe. For example, I need 21.42 oz of water and 21.42 oz of lye, then I add those numbers together to get 42.84 and that's how much of the solution I need to pour to make my soap. I do plan to make a video on this topic at some point. Hope that helps!🩷
