I switched from Chrome to Edge for 1 week. Is it really THAT bad?

Also, it turns out that pressing the like button will help to speed up your browser - which ever one you happen use :D. By the way, if edge is not for you then be sure to check out this playlist for a range of chrome videos covering, tips, tricks and hidden features!

6:31 I still think Edge is better overall.Considering you can create Microsoft account with a gmail, Edge is way better choice. It also comes with Windows and all features built-in unlike chrome.

Yep, valid points Edge certainly does have some great features and the integrations with Windows is definitely great to have. Thanks for the comment!

That collection thing in edge is really useful. Just put random things you see on internet in a collection. You can also add notes for clarity.

Appreciate the comment! Admittedly in reflection, I might of glossed over elements which I considered to be "bloat" but like with most apps and tools out there, they often serve everyone differently. Interesting to hear how you make use of the collections feature 👍

Nice video. Even I used edge for about a year. But then the minimalist experience of chrome, better account syncing functionality, I just can't switch back to edge. Because yeahh, it is cluttered

Thanks! I appreciate the comment! Yes that was my overall consensus as well. I know a lot of people have suggested the Zen browser though so I'm in the process of checking that out at the moment :D

Actually, I prefer to use Microsoft Edge to help me search for information. And on Microsoft Edge, I can add Immersive Translate as a browser that can help me translate what I need directly and accuratly.

Yes, I definitely found the integration with translate to be generally better in edge than chrome so if you use translation a lot then edge is certainly a solid option.

As someone who uses neither this was interesting. I tried Chrome once, but my computer caught on fire with just a few dozen tabs open. (I use a lot more than a few dozen tabs regularly.) I'm also of the "I prefer my windows to be square and light grey" persuasion. I also hate sidebars of all kinds.

Interesting take, it really depends on your use case tbh. But Yh, I agree, chrome is a super big resource hog

You didn't use the full potential of Edge!
Edge is Chrome + More but with less system resources!
It's definitely an upgrade from Chrome to Edge

Apologies if I missed things, I only switched to it for a short time to test it out. Might check it out again at some point in the future :)

Librewolf for the win for privacy sake

Wow, I've never heard of that one before, nor that there were multiple versions of Firefox, this might be something I check out in the future. Thanks! 👍

@@Productive_Tech yes there are many forks of Firefox. Librewolf is one that is hardened for privacy

@@SteveMacSticky Privacy is kinda overrated. i've been using google and microsoft apps for years, I've never had problem with it. I think there's no point for using Librewolf or any "privacy hardened type browser unless you don't wanna see darkweb".
