    Evernote is improving week by week these days. Cost is raised as an issue, but for me works out at about one coffee per week. Given how much I use it, easily worth the price

    • @Productive_Tech
      @Productive_Tech 8 дней назад

      Fair point, alongside the breakdown of the cost. While it was the driving factor for me it wasn’t the cost of the app itself but rather due to the fact that I had a free decent attentive available for me which was OneNote, as it’s part of the office applications. Believe it or not I’m currently in the process of testing out the obsidian application and seeing whether that works for me any better, as something that I would value going forward, is having more control of the notes themselves. I found the value of this when trying to export from Evernote to OneNote as the only way to get out of Evernote is via exports and often being in a propriety format. But yes it worked well for me for many years but I thought it was a good point for me to move on

      I’ve recently been looking for an alternative for this very reason, what do you suggest/use? I’m currently testing out obsidian

      My laptop is the XPS 15 9510. I’ve been using it for around 3 years and I've made a detailed review video on it here if you’re interested :) ruclips.net/video/j-g7ng-chqA/видео.htmlsi=3Ut1jy4qQGbb2iNo

    1:19 Fluent Search is a better alternative to Flow Launcher, and it too has many plugins. It is available on the Microsoft store.

    Nice video. Even I used edge for about a year. But then the minimalist experience of chrome, better account syncing functionality, I just can't switch back to edge. Because yeahh, it is cluttered

      Thanks! I appreciate the comment! Yes that was my overall consensus as well. I know a lot of people have suggested the Zen browser though so I'm in the process of checking that out at the moment :D

    You didn't use the full potential of Edge! Edge is Chrome + More but with less system resources! It's definitely an upgrade from Chrome to Edge

      Apologies if I missed things, I only switched to it for a short time to test it out. Might check it out again at some point in the future :)
