Had both. 2010 Evo X MR 5150 Racing Tuned. Went to a Civic SI for a bit. Then got an STI (almost seven years with it) and pretty much went crazy and did the same mods as my Evo. My STI has killer b equal headers, 20g turbo, ets tmic, ce28SL and fortune auto coils and supporting mods. Retains stock downpipe and bigger stock frame turbo so it doesnt over strain the engine. No issues non RA block. Its on my channel.
Dope STI but I hope you get another evo soon! I agree with you on the evo being a bad daily but as a weekend toy you cant beat it. I needed a new car also but I couldn't part with mine so I decided to keep it and just order a 2022 m240i xdrive as a daily lol
Love the content!! Wish the evo X had a nicer interior, but it’s just a stupid fun car to drive! I agree with daily drive ability, while the evo can be daily driven, it’s not the most pleasant thing comfort wise/road noise/other evo stuff. I’m selling mine to go for a Lexus is500, so NA setup will be way different! I’m looking forward to daily driving a nice car now, I drove an sti before buying an evo and agree that it’s much nicer to daily! But Man something with the Evos that just speaks to your soul and gives you that how tf is this thing even street legal feeling 😂😂 especially big turbo setups!
Yeah my evo is always going to be my baby I’ll get one again and keep the sti at the same time. Both amazing at what they do and both are about to be extinct so the value is gonna spike like crazy.

i never put any mods in my wrx and it lasted years. Just traded it in for a 2020 STI and plan on not doing any mods either.
What you think between sti and the evo? Which one you think is more reliable and best?
