I have these same headers on my 06 wrx big turbo wagon. Mods include ultimate racing uppipe downpipe kit with the EWG recirc option and metal substrate cat. Also have a turbo XS catback. My car sounds similar but noticeably deeper.
I didn’t have to lift my motor at all for my uppipe btw. To be fair, the car came with an aftermarket uppipe.
I love my plm headers on my sti. Sounds incredible and car runs so much smoother
It's been a while since this video. Have you ran into any issues with the PLM headers or have you upgraded to the KillerB one?
welds on my HKS equal lengths just broke after 2-2400ish miles which is ridiculous so i picked up a set of these to get the car back on the road.
Let us know long term how those KillerB replicas hold up! People pay for KillerB because the 321ss for high heat. Same specs pretty much.
Yeah it seems to fit pretty well I’m watching the welds on it to see how it holds up long term but we’ll see.

How do you like them so far compared to uel ?? I just ordered same ones for my 05 sti ..
Been great so far just need to throw it on the dyno to see if it made any gains

Do you have to tune your car when you swapped your headers?
Not really unless you start seeing it hit above target boost. But if you wanna benifit from the headers definitely get a tune
