- HOW TO MAKE KUTTU KI ROTI WITHOUT POTATOES/BUCKWHEAT FLOUR TORTILLAS
Buckwheat isn't as popular as wheat and oats, perhaps because of its strong nearly bitter flavo but Buckwheat is one of the healthiest, nuttiest, most versatile whole grains. And despite its name, it’s really not related to wheat at all.
While many people think that buckwheat is a cereal grain, it is actually a fruit seed that is related to rhubarb and sorrel making it a suitable substitute for grains for people who are sensitive to wheat or other grains that contain protein glutens. Buckwheat flowers are very fragrant and are attractive to bees that use them to produce a special, strongly flavored, dark honey.

Are u sure no potatoes are required
Hi Anjali,
yes you can make it without potatoes the different is when you use potatoes roti will be soft and taste will be better and if you want to skip potatoes in the recipe roti will not be very soft as well its tricky to handle kuttu flour while knitting. But it is possible to make kuttu roti without potatoes.
