Sorry you did not add button over lap allowance,you cut it like a senator dress,after taking your 2 inches for the button line you were supposed to mark half inches then start your body measurements from there and the back too you would have placed it starting from the half inches allowance you gave at the button line,with what you did now the cloth wont be able to lap
