HEY YOU ABOUT TO POST SOMETHING STUPID:
Yes, I know my hands are large/fat. It's because of a heart condition I suffer from called Congestive Heart Failure. Here's a link to some information about CHF: cle.clinic/2Td...
One of the symptoms is that is causes fluid retention, mostly in the hands, feet/ankles, and face.
It will kill me one day. I'm doing ok right now, but someday...

For this particular model, Zotek is not the OEM, it's Habotest instrument company, based in Dongguan, China.

We haven't found out yet, but ALL cheap X-brand Chinese electronics are made in one Central China factory that covers 100 square miles of former farm land.
PS - My vote for a review of the Mestek DM100C.

I double checked, and yes, Carbon Monoxide is flammable. It makes sense when you think of it. Carbon Monoxide forms when there is not enough oxygen to completely burn a carbon based fuel source. When it burns, it becomes the much more stable Carbon Dioxide. See Gary's comment.

Whitelabel goods are not a problem at all but I do have an issue when some companies bump up the prices like crazy while pretending it is a different product. Rebranding and Whitelabel stuff is sold in many industries and it isn't unique to Chinese companies. This is also why I find it crazy how many people claim Chinese made goods are all junk while half the things in their home are Whitelabel products made and even designed by Chinese companies.
You see rebranded Open Source software a lot with a pretty overlay that is then sold for outrageous profits. It is wrong in my opinion taking what someone else has spent thousands of hours of work on and is giving away for free and making minor additions and using the value created by the Open Source contribution to profit. There is an ESP32 product that is sold for over $100 that is a knockoff ESP board and 1 weekend worth of code added to an open source project. They don't even have the decency to use name brand boards to support the developers when ripping people off. They are making over 30x profit on something they spent maybe 10 hours making while others spent months on it and give it away for free.

Paul I have a confession, I have some fancy/ overprice Flukes in the workshop, but still my favourite multi-meter is the Aneng Q1, I don't think you gave it a good review but mine is accurate enough for a quick go to multi-meter mines the black screen with the white numbers

Yup, that's why gassifier stoves are important in poor countries, cause they burn fuel more efficiently as well as cleaner.

For the eletricians, the NCV it's pretty far away of the Volts position. :( Please, comment this on future reviews. Also, why the different brands don't implement the live wire feature on the V AC position (ex. red probre touching the live wire the multimeter should beep)?

At 3:20. Slight difference in the board trace layout between the input jacks (The MELFS). Probably a slight revision on the board.
Otherwise, I think you will find many products from China are produced on a single factory with different faceplates.
Son has gas appliances, I think I'll get him one of those detectors. Usually the detection element has a limited lifespan and must be replaced. Did that detector have any information on that?
    Have a great weekend Paul.

    • @excitedbox5705

Are you sure it is not low battery?

    • @DIYwithBatteries
      @DIYwithBatteries 3 года назад

@@excitedbox5705 low battery is such a small reason Sir, the problem is with the rotating range selector.
we always rotate it so hardly it may damage the smd circuit lines which are so sensitive And we can't fix that 🤷‍♂️.
Although it will works great but it shows different values in different voltages. :(

3:20 I can see differences between the two boards, the component layouts are slightly different and the PCB's are not the same.
They appear to use the same schematic but they are not the same part.

Hello, I was hoping you may have some insight of the accuracy differences of different ac line splitters. I have read reviews where some people say the 10x and 1x are off on some models when in theory they should be the same reading but just need a decimal place shift for the 10x vs 1x. Any thoughts on which models may be more accurate ?

    Yes WE Are Smart... LOL
This is all good as long as they don't start to cheapen the meters as they change names...
I still love my Kaiweets with "0" issues. I have 3 other meters (really more) on the bench and I grab this one all the time....
Thanks Paul for letting us know We Are Smart (Ass). It is a wonderful feeling... LOL
    Thanks for the video!
