I was on the same mind that the EX side stories were going to be a step down from the main story, but they are great, especially the Wilhelm one, they give great worldbuilding to the story
Possible spoiler: I think it is Capella who poisoned the royal family as her blood poisons and slowly kills people as seen with ironically Crusch in ark 5. The dragon also wouldn't interfere as Capella is possibly a member of the Royal family because the dragon only helps against threats that come from other countries.
Man this was such a great summary, It would be awesome if you did a couple more for Ex 4 and 5... especially now that Arc 7 has reached a point where knowing those side stories is important to understanding the central plot. Great vid!

In regard to Felix having the incomplete spell,I was thinking,what if that will have something to do with one of Emilia future visions in arc 4 ,where Felix said (It may not be 100% aqurate) "Why won't the soul take shape".

I understand why you would say Bordeux is racist but its understandable when you read EX novel 2. Also remember Bordeux is the same character who called emilia a filthy half devil during arc 3
@@Phapchamp Yuup, but his racism isnt only to half elves (which is honestly just normal, it's cut out of the anime but Cadmon, the appa guy, tells Subaru that the only characteristics they know about the witch was that she has silver hair and was a half elf, and so they steer clear of anybody with even one of those things, Emilia is like a one for one copy of Sstella appearance wise), his racism is against demi-humans due to the demi-human civil war that happened around 40 years ago.

What was intended by that line? Edit: maybe it was changed to her saying "What is that?" but does anyone remember it being different?
It just hit me that if you compiled all the side stories into an anthology, you essentially get Tappei's Silmarillion for the Re Zero universe and (my opinion) it's far more relevant to the actual story than Tolkien's tangents. I still have no idea why he even mentioned the blue wizards. It would be like mentioning a witch that's hanging out beyond the waterfall who's name is Walpurgisnacht and has a thing against magical girls.

Arc 7 - Priscilla camp Arc 8 - Felt camp Arc 9 - Crusch camp Arc 10 - All of the Royal King Candidates He did not mention Ana and Emilia camps’ arcs. But, us as fans can speculate that Emilia camp’s arc was Arc 4, and Ana’s on Arc 6.
