- Today's video is PART 2 of my (minimal, curated) makeup collection, my full inventory!! My goal of a minimalist, curated collection continues, and this time, I'm a little closer. This week I'm showing you all of my eyeshadow palettes, eyeshadow single, lip products, and eyeliners. If you're new to my channel I'm curating my collection and I'm talking all things minimalism & decluttering, makeup no-buy and low-buy, and project pan. Phew, I'm so glad to finally have this finished and out, and to know the total number of makeup products in my collection. How many items do you think I have??

I think the easiest way to shrink your collection would be to declutter expired products and also the products you don’t love or use. This was you’re immediately going to have your well curated and loved collection 😅

I feel like you could post the unopened power from elf on bunz ! You still have two other ones and if powder is not your preferred brow product I don't think you need three different ones 😅

I definitely could, and I’ve considered it - but I kind of want to keep it because one side is a wax and the other is powder, and the other unopened ones are all jus powder!
OMG your lip products look so overwhelming and Im also ashamed because I have the same amount! 41 including balms, 34 without. My goal would probably be like 12-18 with balms and lip liners. You and me both here with trying to work through a bunch this year. Hoping to get 8 out!

Red ♥️ is definitely your color.. anything that makes us feel confident and fierce is always a plus. Do you feel you're missing something in your eyeshadow collection? And if so what color would you add? I've got over 400 palettes and I'm always super enthralled with smaller curated collections. Like part of me would love to be more minimalist because, I get so overwhelmed. I'm also finding as I'm getting older 47, bright color palettes aren't as intriguing as they once was. Ok back to finish
That ELF palette looks pretty nice actually. I'd get use out of the soft cool tones too. It's not bad having a basic palette like that. I could see it being pulled into looks with the other palettes
That's actually what I did this week, I used different pink shades with some single eyeshadows I have and I loved the looks I came up with!! I don't know why I don't use pink eyeshadow more often
I would say red is definitely a color you should wear more often. To be honest, I think you should do a project pan of your fantasy self makeup one day to see if you would actually use it. a lot of the makeup you shown as been "just in case" so I am curious if you do use the "just in case" makeup project pan now and see if you actually would use it and see what your opinions are still the same afterwards.
It took me a few years to lower my collection but a lot of it was being honest with myself to admit that some of those products that I was using them for the sake of using them up but not enjoying makeup. so eventually i had to give them up because i never really used them or they were not something i enjoy using anymore because out of our 365 days are you going to really spend most of them on products that just you arn't into anymore? that's just me though.

I enjoy watching makeup collections and seeing what others seem to have a lot of/ enjoy. I have a weakness for eye shadow pallets (27) and lipstick/gloss/lip stain(55+), but only have one black and a brown mascara. I also only have 2 brow products 5 blushes 2 highlighters and one bronzer. I currently have more foundations then I usually have, Im at 8 and usually only have 3-4, but 2 of them are almost finished and I only just bought 2 of them last week because they were on sale for a really good price.. ooops lol.
I had the Mark Jacobs eye liner and didn't like it, I found it smudged really easily and i'd look like I had panda eyes.
Just counted and I have 141 items total... that's a bit more then I thought, I did just declutter a bunch of stuff that I don't like a few months ago. So at least I like all the stuff that I have. Also there are at least 10 items that I'm finishing up that should be done in the next few months. I'm on a low buy this year, I have a max of 10 new items unless I use all of that item up (brows/mascara for example)
What lip colour are you wearing at the end? It really suits you 🙂 x
it's a Kiko double ended product, I think the shade is just called #2? 'double match lipstick & lip liner'

Also just counted my ideal numbers vs current and my ideal total is 82, current is 122 so a ways to go but I’d love to just get under 100 at some point! Do you have an ideal number?
Dang so a full third of your collection is just lip products!! Please tell me it’s your favourite category 😅
I think my ideal is probably around 100-130? That’s just a guess though without looking at each individual category!
@@laralikesmascara it sounds so much worse when you say it like that😂😭😭 I do love me some lip products, but 40 is way too many for me. If I could eventually cut that in half, I’d be thrilled. I’d even be ok with 25 including balms since I like to keep a balm everywhere.
