I think the cons for all of these air purifiers are the filters itself. They need to make it where the filters can be reused instead. The cost and waste gets out of hand.
Please be aware! I just received my replacement new filters after 6 months of using my Jasprs and the new filters smell like burning metal!! It quite literally smells awful when I turn the Jasprs on. I’m so disappointed as I bought 2 of them and they’re NOT cheap! I contacted the seller and let them know about the new filers in hopes something can be done about this. However the new filters are a different design with metal on the outside and that is what is causing the awful smell. It literally defeats the purpose right now… So at this point, this product is a great disappointment
A commercial Air Scrubber is far superior to any of these new agey things. Theyve been used for decades in construction, mold remediation. Pick your brand, but you can design your own filter arrangement.
@@bobcaygeon975I agree with you, only issue is that most of those commercial air scrubbers are very loud even on a low setting which probably not good in a bedroom and keep it on 24/7 for the noise
Thanks for bringing this up! Though an overall rare case, we have had a few instances of what is suspected to be the carbon layer of the filter reacting to something in the air, which causes an odor to be concentrated out of the Jaspr. If this occurs we are happy to send over a replacement filter which resolves the problem. In the meantime we continue to work on our filter design so that this issue can ideally be eliminated entirely. Thank you for the feedback, it means a lot to us as we are always trying to improve the product! 🙏
Did the purifier have a strong chemical smell when you first got it/started running it? I just received mine and put it on turbo in my garage and the whole garage smells like a gnarley chemical …. Just curious if you experienced that and how long till that smell will go away
mine did not, but someone else in the comments mentioned that... i talked to the founder and he said they had a problem with a batch, and that they are being fixed. If you reach out to customer support you can ask to speak with Justin, and tell him I sent you. They will take care of you.
Just checked my blueway 3ii max, cadr of only 250 =\. Luckily it was only $100. I have an airthing air quality device in the home and when the pm2 gets higher i set it to max and it drops it down pretty quickly
Great review and not to discredit the Air Purifier itself, as I also use one, just for the simple fact that I don't want to constantly be breathing in pollutants but there is a much cheaper treatment for allergies. Increase your vitamin D, and I'm not talking about the woefully low levels of the recommended daily allowance, I take 10,000 iu's, and have been doing so for years. Technically I still have allergies, but the symptoms have reduced drastically. So much so, that some years allergy season comes and goes, without me even realizing. This is not to mention all the other positive benefits of increasing your vitamin D levels. Do some research, you will not regret it.

😢
So the replacement filter is $300 and last 6 months.
I wish the company good luck. They are really going to need it.
Exactly why I’m staying away from this company
BS for sure, unless you are wealthy 😅
Is one unit enough to clean a standard home 2400sqft or do you need 2 units
probably two, one for bedroom, one for living room/kitchen
I live in europe and they dont ship there how can i get this stuff??
