DECISION TIME...IMPLANTS OR PAP FLAP

I am at Northwestern University downtown Chicago meeting my new surgeon for the first time in person. I have yo make a decision. Am I going to get implants or PAP flap? My surgeon suggested implants to start off with and see how my body handles the implants. If my body rejects the implants then he will gladly do the PAP flap. Going through breast cancer we have to make a lot of decisions in hopes it we will have the best outcome.

By the way I just heard you say that you are going to try the implants first then if it fails you will go to the flap. I have panic attacks at night due to the heavy implants and can’t take a deep breath anymore. It’s heart wrenching and scary. This didn’t start until 4 years later. I have whole body dryness. Unbearable. Eyes are so dry I can’t go 1 hour without drops. Bad days every 5 minutes. I have Chronic fatigue and can’t do simple task. I use to be able to run for miles - no longer. I get out of breath just talking to someone. No amount of volume loss is worth the misery. There are close to 50 symptoms to BII. Listen to the stories of other women on RUclips. It’s real and doctors don’t give a shit.

To me, it's about money! He's talking her into what cost more. And, you're correct.... it's not worth it.

Is she still living? Her "expressing" what he's suggesting is the reason why I'd never use male doctors for female issues! 😢
