Thank you for sharing your story Kristy, hope all is well with you. I'm in the early stage of treatment for her2 t1n0. Just finished #4 of taxol/herceptin and have begun to lose a lot of hair. I had chosen lumpectomy based on the original Dcis diagnosis so will have radiation afterwards. Thankfully mine is on the right so there shouldn't be the heart risk. I'm still worried about my lungs.....I am older, 54, so that played into my decision. It's all overwhelming and listening to others helps in dealing with the side effects as well as come to accept our desicions.
