I wish Resolve would show some more love with captions for free users. Capcut can literally do it with 1 click for free. So I would do
everything in Resolve first because I love the program, and then move the video over to Capcut or even Dupdub AI sometimes.

Is it possible to automate a repetitive task like putting the same sound effect at the start of every image?

You can save sound effects in a power bin so they are easy to access in every project, I have a video on them.

Great video but saving presets never worked for me even if I do it this way or save it as a fusion template specifically it just doesn’t work. So if I find an effect I like I’d either have to do it at that moment or hope someone has a similar one in a pack I can buy

I did that in premiere, but since using resolve I tend to save the ones that are more frequently used.
