I love your vlogs because they're SO REAL. Life isn't always perfectly organized, decorated and aesthetic. You have real emotions, real struggles with things like moving while balancing being a mother and working, you're not in a huge perfectly designed space that has a perfect spot for all of your belongings, and you still make it work! It's such a breath of fresh air to watch someone I can relate to.
The audible gasp I made from the difference in your view!! Also being able to soak up that vitamin D in your own home is so important. I’m so happy for you guys!🥰
Don't be embarrassed at all girl. Everyone has a mess when they're moving, it's just part of the process. Plus, you have a baby to take care of too so that makes it harder. It really doesn't look horrific. I'm excited to see what it's going to look like when you're done. I'm glad you're not going to be in a cave anymore lol. Congratulations on the new place!
I think it's the same for all of us when moving, unless you you have a professional crew handling it all. Please don't feel bad! Congratulations, your new home is gorgeous! What an amazing view!
THAT VIEW! I had the same issue with my appartment where I had a view on a wall and northfacing aka no sunlight and now I have view on a garden and tons of sun!
No matter how much you plan, moving is always chaos, and you wonder why you own so much stuff 😂 You're new apartment is going to look so good once you organize and the view is gorgeous
Sarah it's beautiful!!!!! The mess is inevitable while moving but I know it's gonna look amazing when you guys are finally settled 🎉❤ congrats on your new home.
It took us over a year to organize our 1200 sq ft house. We have 2 bedrooms that were full of just STUFF for nearly a year. It was embarrassing having friends come over and giving them the tour. It’s a process and we all go at our own place, especially when you work full time! Thank you for being real.
My husband and I moved apartments in the middle of winter when my daughter was 3months old. You're doing great. Your baby is happy and healthy and kitty is chatting away. It took me months to reorganize and I still have to do it every Spring and Fall. Don't be discouraged because it's 100% normal.
I’ve moved about 7 times in my life and every time I always say “I forgot how much moving SUCKS”. It’s always messy, chaotic, and overwhelming no matter how much you try to pack pretty and prepare
maybe try to clean out the living space, move the boxes and other things into closed rooms (like the office and closets) and tackle that little by little? that will give you at least some clutter free space and give you a bit of a peace of mind :)
No judgment at all, I also just moved about a month ago and I'm still unpacking bc of work. It's turning out really nice so far and I'm glad u finally have some sunlight!
One of my favorite things to say is, "you've gotta make a mess to fix a mess". There is nothing wrong with that. I remember just cleaning my room a few years ago and after two days it looked like it got hit by a tornado and when I was finished you'd have no idea what a mess it was before. Congrats on being in a new place that has better views and makes you happy!
Naw Sarah no need to feel guilty or anything. Moving is always stressful, I can't imagine pulling that off with a baby. You are doing so great and I really respect you for pushing through
Oh sis do NOT be embarrassed, I fucking HATE moving and it always starts off looking like this. The new apartment is SO NICE!!! That view alone is worth it!
Totally feel you on the whole lack of light situation and how it can affect your mood and outlook in a very real way. I'm glad you're settling into a new, bright place where you can feel more comfortable.
No judgement! I think the mess is an extremely normal moving process. I found this very motivating as someone preparing to do a small move soon. Looking forward to future content and hope it's all going as well as it can!
I accidentally moved into an apartment that received no sunlight, too. From now on I ask what unit is available and go to it and look up if the windows are south, west, or east facing -preferablely southfacing - if not its a no go for me
Congratulations!! Moving is exciting! And stop being so hard on yourself! We moved with a 1 year old and I had unpacked boxes in the dining room for more than a year lol. Just enjoy every minute with her … time seriously flies by. My son is almost 17 now and it feels like yesterday he was 1. And enjoy that amazing view!
Even with the like initial chaos of things not having a spot yet, the new apartment already looks so much more brighter! Can't wait for more moving vlogs. Yay montages! Congrats to you and your family!
No judgement at all here! We moved two months ago (almost three) and we're still living out of suitcases and my books are all in boxes, rooms are half painted. Its real life!
Isn't that what it looks like whenever people are moving? and you're right, it is a layer of hell lmao but it looks like that for everyone! don't sweat it.
Sarah, I have been following you for at least 8 years. You have come such a long way, remember living with your ex and then moving back to your parents place....your life is moving along in a really healthy way and this is just a normal transition, as Ryan said. Stop beating your wonderful self up! Fern isn't suffering either, she has two amazing parents full of love and determination to make life better. I love you! be proud of yourself!
hey, thank you so much for sharing this!! moving with such a tiny baby is a tremendous quest, there's nothing to feel ashamed about - plus, watching you organize has given me the motivation to clean my appt (which was looking very very rough bc of mental health reasons). so thx so much!!
I just moved a week ago, and it was so stressful - can’t imagine how much more stressful it would be with a baby! Props to you for getting through it - and don’t worry about the mess. You’re doing amazing ❤
i'm so happy for you!! and yes! no judgement, moving is messy, it's supposed to look that way at first, even more so with a baby, that btw she's SO adorable!! the view of this new place is amazing, i love all the green and all the natural light 10/10
Absolutely ZERO judgement here Sarah. In fact, you are an absolute inspiration for dealing with all you have to deal with right now, and still finding time to create content! I certainly couldn’t do it! Thank you for all being so transparent and honest with us, it always feels like catching up with a friend whenever you post your videos- and that’s so lovely, and rare! Especially on RUclips right now.
Moving right along with you. I have been sick for all of week 2 after moving in. Don't push yourself too hard like I did 😅 good luck! I also have a similar view now front and back, it's nice to zone out and stare at some trees in the comfort of ur own space
Hi Sarah. Your apartment is so pretty. No judgement here. You are getting a lot accomplished. Even with a baby. Everything will come together. Excited to go with you on this journey as you settle in. Fern is absolutely beautiful. So sweet. Thanks for sharing this with us. Take Care.
Girl!! No judgment at all❤ I’m so glad you love your new apartment and that there’s more sun coming in there. Fern looks so cute and she’s getting so big!
My parents stayed in a tiny one bed until I was almost 3 idk how they didn’t lose their minds. Moving is the worst but it’ll be so worth it when it’s all done, it’ll be so good for you and your little family 🥰 very excited for you
No one is judging you, promise. Moving is overwhelming and stressful as it is. You’re doing amazing moving with baby Fern. I’m so excited for you! Those views are beautiful!😍
nah girl, that's the type pf chaos I've dealt with every time I've moved too. I don't think it's POSSIBLE to move aesthetically or have everything completely organized, and anyone who presents it that way is probably lying! Or paid out the wazoo to have a company do it for them. You're doing great! And you're moving into a bigger space, it shouldn't be as hard of a game of tetris as before 🙂
So happy for you and the lovely apartment!😍 I honestly love your moving, organising/ tidying, decorating etc videos so I’m very happy rn, not judging at all!!
I feel like the first stage of moving is embarrassing. 3 months into my moving journey and I'm still like... whyyyy does it still look like this. And I don't have a baby or cats! I offer you all my compassion
As someone who has moved many many many times 😅 my biggest advice to not get to overwhelmed is to try to focus on one room/ space at a time ! When you finish that room , you get a sense of accomplishment and it helps with feeling like things are moving forward. Sending you so much good and positive energy for this chapter of your lives 🤍
Yay for home, decor and organizing videos! For the closet extender, Target has them and they adjust. Also maybe turn your desk so you can face the windows when filming for natural light. :)
Moving is so hard, I hate it. So the mess is more than understandable. And then all the decisions making what to put where, so exhausting. But when you done it will be so amazing, you can just sit down enjoy your stunning view
The new place looks amazing! I love all that greenery, it must be such a nice feeling after the electrical closet haha I can't wait to see how you finish decorating!
Hi from Michigan! Please don't worry about the mess. That is totally normal when you have a new baby. My baby is grown now and there are still messes to clean up every day! That's being a mom. Best of luck at the new place! Enjoy that view! Also, I love your horror channel! Keep it coming! ❤
Sarah i just gotta say, you could upload yourself organizing clothes 100 times over and I'd still watch cause i just love having you on in the background and listening to your commentary
No embarrassment 😊 I was in the exact same situation with a newborn and a 3 yr old this summer. Moving is the worst with a baby/kids. You do what you gotta do 😊 you are rocking it!!
I love moving content and I really appreciate how real you’re being throughout process- it’s going to be so satisfying and cool to watch everything come together. Thank you so much for your vulnerability!
I feel you... I'm having a baby in May and moving to another country September, 1st so basically baby will be just about 4 month old ! And we're moving with a dog too ... I can only imagine how difficult it's going to be. Thank you for showing it as raw as can be :) we need more real life content on socials.
You are so strong and inspirational. Like I don´t need inspiration for the perfect life. I need inspiration for everyday life. You are so honest and chill. Love this channel
As someone who haaaates mess and is also the mom to a 2.5 year old (who herself is like Pigpen in Peanuts some how??), you kind of just get used to your house always being a disaster. My days off from work I'm catching up on all the laundry, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, but as soon as she's home from daycare it's like all bets are off lol. It gets more manageable when they get older, or at least all the mess just localizes to their bedroom instead.
Way better view in your new place for sure! So excited for you and your family. I watched your vid for your DVD arranging. I was showing my husband because we're in the process of creating a media room and better shelving for my movies. Also no judgement from me! Girl kuddos to you for moving with a baby. I get it being embarrassed because we're mamas and hate messes. You're fine. Hugs to you and take care of yourself too.
You're doing great Sarah, no one is judging! (Certainly not me anyway) It doesn't matter if your space is messy for a few weeks, other than the stress it puts on you of course. When it will all be done you'll forget all about this short time of mess. And trust me your baby DOES NOT care about the mess at all ❤❤❤
This is absolutely normal! No judgement. Parent of two and I’m about to move AGAIN. Also glad to see the cloth diapers arrived safe and are being rehomed. Love you!
Sarah, I love you!! You are so authentic and I honestly took up to you so much. Ever since I watched your video "Being a Late Bloomer" 7 years ago, I've been a fan. It's been really cool and inspiring seeing you go through so many life changes, having Fern and being so open and honest. You get me so excited for life, even when it seems tough. Like moving with a 3 month old baby tough, haha. I'm so excited for you to be in your new place (with natural sunlight!!) and to see you and your family grow! 🥰 Much love
So happy for you to get that sunlight in your life 🩷 Hope you're getting more sleep these days. My daughter didn't sleep through the night til 6 years old. Her brother is 2 years younger and did it before her 😅. I laugh but honestly it was hell and it really robbed me of memories of her being small because she just didn't freaking sleep. Gave up naps the week I went on maternity leave with her brother and 22 months (luckily I'm Canadian so at least I didn't have to work for her first year). So I always have deep sympathy for new parents and the spectrum of sleep deprivation.
Oh Sarah don't even feel bad, we moved just my husband and I, no baby and it was CRAYCRAY for weeks. You're just fine and your new place looks amazing!
Moving is apparently one of the most stressful things a person will do in their life. I couldn’t imagine it with a 4 month old! You are doing a great job though, Fern looks so cute and happy! And I love to organize and clean, so I wish I could just be there to help you out and do it myself! Lol
First off, it's always so exciting getting a notif from your main channel on my phone- it literally makes my day. Second, WOW the space is absolutely beautiful, that view is so relaxing! 💖💖 Please don't apologize for the mess!!! Moving is tough, let alone moving with an infant!!! You're doing amazing and I'm so happy that your new space has natural light, I hope it serves you well and feels more like a home.

The view from your window now is TO DIE FOR, I would genuinely not hesitate to sell my soul for it. I'm so happy for you three!!
I moved with a 2 week old baby post emergency c section and it was sooooooooo rough 😢 props to you mama ❤❤❤
😢 that sounds truly awful. I had easy vaginal births and can't even freaking imagine with that. Let alone recovering from a c-section.
Don’t feel embarrassed at all. I’ve packed “properly” in the past and the house was still a mess lol. You’re doing great!
Sarah, never feel bad! Moving & having babies is SO MUCH work!
Sarah it's beautiful!!!!! The mess is inevitable while moving but I know it's gonna look amazing when you guys are finally settled 🎉❤ congrats on your new home.

No judgment at all, I also just moved about a month ago and I'm still unpacking bc of work. It's turning out really nice so far and I'm glad u finally have some sunlight!
I moved two years ago right around when you moved and am now moving again! No baby, but I thought it was a fun coincidence☺️
Also Fern and I share a Birth Day 🥰

This is so normal. You’re doing great. You’ll get there a little bit at a time. Don’t knock the progress you’ve already made.
I love moving montages!! So satisfying to watch. Congrats to your family on this new journey!
I just moved a week ago, and it was so stressful - can’t imagine how much more stressful it would be with a baby! Props to you for getting through it - and don’t worry about the mess. You’re doing amazing ❤
No judgement! My house looks like that sometimes even when I’m not moving x don’t stress houses that don’t look like people live in them scare me
It almost always has to get worse before it can get better. Congratulations on the move, those are amazing views!!!
You are such a kickass mom! No judgements here at all. We are all here for it!
i'm so happy for you!! and yes! no judgement, moving is messy, it's supposed to look that way at first, even more so with a baby, that btw she's SO adorable!! the view of this new place is amazing, i love all the green and all the natural light 10/10

Moving right along with you. I have been sick for all of week 2 after moving in. Don't push yourself too hard like I did 😅 good luck! I also have a similar view now front and back, it's nice to zone out and stare at some trees in the comfort of ur own space
Moving is a nightmare, there is no judgement whatsoever!! I love your new place, it’ll come together soon enough 🫶🏻
Ok but Native Deodorant is where it’s at 😏 the seasonal scents are just a lovely treat for yourself and I love using them!
My parents stayed in a tiny one bed until I was almost 3 idk how they didn’t lose their minds. Moving is the worst but it’ll be so worth it when it’s all done, it’ll be so good for you and your little family 🥰 very excited for you
My husband and I moved in May '22 and are JUST NOW finishing some of the unpacking. Life happens! You are doing great!
You got LOTS of stuff, Good luck with your new place!
The view! The sunlight and greenery will do y'all good ❤ It's a lil crazy in the beginning but you'll get comfy soon in your new place how exciting!
No one is judging you, promise. Moving is overwhelming and stressful as it is. You’re doing amazing moving with baby Fern. I’m so excited for you! Those views are beautiful!😍

I loved watching this :) we moved to another state when my son was two and that was stressful so I can only imagine with an even younger one.
I moved 3 weeks ago and this is how my house looked like too! I fixed it quicker cause I don't have a 4 year old but Ryan is right, that's life!
No embarrassment 😊 I was in the exact same situation with a newborn and a 3 yr old this summer. Moving is the worst with a baby/kids. You do what you gotta do 😊 you are rocking it!!
Fern is such a pretty name!
Love the moving content. Love how real this is. Excited for more 🖤
I love moving content and I really appreciate how real you’re being throughout process- it’s going to be so satisfying and cool to watch everything come together.
I so happy that you have a new place with a nature view!
You are so strong and inspirational. Like I don´t need inspiration for the perfect life. I need inspiration for everyday life. You are so honest and chill. Love this channel

Happy for y’all! I cannot imagine moving with a baby! You’re doing great
Your porch view is such a dream! Looks so calm and peaceful. Sooo happy for you
The new view is amazing!! I’m so happy for you ❤
You're doing great Sarah, no one is judging!
Love you!
yes we’re going to try using them soon! 💕
Gave up naps the week I went on maternity leave with her brother and 22 months (luckily I'm Canadian so at least I didn't have to work for her first year). So I always have deep sympathy for new parents and the spectrum of sleep deprivation.
Good on you guys for making the decision to move! Our environments are important for our wellbeing!
The mess is not embarrassing, moving is always messy, and you do it with a baby. the fact that you're not completely falling apart is amazing.
Oh Sarah don't even feel bad, we moved just my husband and I, no baby and it was CRAYCRAY for weeks. You're just fine and your new place looks amazing!
I’d love to see what it looks like all put together. I have no doubt it’ll look great 🖤
Thanks for your authenticity ❤❤❤
Moving is apparently one of the most stressful things a person will do in their life. I couldn’t imagine it with a 4 month old! You are doing a great job though, Fern looks so cute and happy! And I love to organize and clean, so I wish I could just be there to help you out and do it myself! Lol
thanks so much for this vid! Very excited for the next one and I will be tuned in! 🤳
That view is so gorgeous!
Nice new place. Loving the moving content.
