- Nothing nicer than letting machines work for you, well, even if it sounds weird and ethereal.
I let the dish simmer and add just a little salt.

The quality of the video, the audio and the coffee were outstanding today. And always nice to see the mighty Summit in the frame.
Especially the coffee I'd say 😛 Cheers Richard and thank you!
This provides a lovely ambience for a smooth start to a quiet morning. Love the coffee mug BTW. 😊

Calm and chill for this Monday morning. Very nice!
Thank you!!! 🙏
There is nothing better than to wake up with NoLake's frequencies.!!!
And No Lake's coffee 😁
Thanks buddy!
Nicely done! Both synths producing fantastic sounds. Really enjoy the swell moments. Appreciate the work that went in to this (both sound & video). Great work!!
Many thanks Dylan, glad you enjoyed the ethereal cruise 😊
Strong & fresh, a lovely cup of No Lake flavours, very nice indeed! I hope the coffee did not get cold. ☕
The mug keeps it hot :-)
Thanks for the compliment!
Nice chill ambient music. Bravo No Lake. Thanks for sharing. Have a beautiful day 👏 👍 😊 🎶 🎷
Hey thanks! Appreciate the compliment!
Espresso and ethereal melodies, a combination made in Sonic Heaven. Kudos 39, my friend!
Ah ah thanks man, appreciate it!
Patient, spacious repose.
Great video mmm coffee😌 love the steady flicker of Push’s interface. Goes with those swells like they conjure each other.

Many thanks buddy, yeah I wanted something a bit different. Many thanks for tuning in!!
What a wonderful, relaxing feeling comes from this music! A great start to my Friday. I really love the sound of the Summit, and everything works together like a well-rehearsed group.
I hope you enjoyed your semi-generative coffee, too. 😄
Have a great weekend, Fred!
lol, thanks man, appreciate all the kind words and yes, that coffee was great! 🙂
Very nice morning chillout, that's what I needed at the moment. Mindful sounds nourish the soul.
I know, right? :-)
Hey thanks for tuning in guys.
Glad it gave you some chill vibes lady Colors!
Very sweet ambiance. I use the SubH on maybe half the songs I record these days, I like how you took its typical "organ-like" sound into new territories. Very inspiring.
Many thanks for the warm compliment. Yeah the Sub is a great machine as a stand alone or as a backing track creator. I love its incomparable raw sounding. Thanks for tuning in!
Utterly fantastic!! Love your melodies over the soundscape =D =D =D
Hey thank you! Glad you enjoyed it, appreciate that!
Cool Video Fred! The Electronic Music is a totally different world for me.
Thanks man, glad you dug the vibe 🙂
Celebrating this while working DeLonghi is nice, tastes well nice WE!
ah ah thanks man, appreciate it!
Wonderful sounds man, I think I've broken the coffee machine in my hotel room so listening to this while sipping a jasmine tea
Did you try to plug that coffee machine on the Deluge? 😅
Cheers man and thank you!
a wonderful piece, Fred... a perfect start to the new day 🙂👍
Hey thanks Andy, appreciate it buddy!
I do like looking at the Behind-The-Scenes videos.....how does an artist actually do things!! Thank you Frederic.....Oh.....😇I'll have my coffee with milk and 2 sugars!!
Ah ah ok buddy, coffee is on its way. Thanks a lot for the nice comment man!
Great sound quality as always. Like your music, the studio is tidy, no wasted space or extraneous keys. Clear and clean sound and work space. So impressive, makes me want to bulldozer my hobby studio and start over ({-;)
Bulldozer the studio lol, I'd give a kidney to have it :-))) Thanks for the compliment Sam! Appreciate it!
Excellent I love it! Ableton is really nice for generating pseudo-random melodies, and coupled with great synths, the atmosphere is great!
Hey thanks!
Indeed, agreed. But in this case the Summit is creating the most part on its own, the Sub adds some spice and Live is mostly used here with the Push and for the final mix :-)
wow this is a masterpiece my friend 👋🎹 well done my Friend
Hey thanks buddy, appreciate it!
This one is kind of ASMR Ambient music when watching video great shots!
With closed eyes its journey to scape far away! Pretty much true to your last album!
Hey thanks for the great comment man, it really means a lot 🙏
The Ambience Master at work!
Awesome track, Fred
Ah ah yeah, thanks buddy!
Excellent atmosphere my friend!!!!

OK, he begins with coffee with a nice Italian machine. That's a promising start ;)
Ah ah indeed. Good coffee is always a good start 😊
@@nolakeI was as a matter of fact enjoying mine while watching this ;) Cheers!
And I’m enjoying a new one as we speak 😁
Catching up on videos I missed. Sounds very cool, Fred!!!! Also, cool video!!!!
Ah ah cheers Chris! Appreciate that!!
Otherwordly ambience
Such a beautiful soundscape, Fred
Nice set up u have there
🎶🐾🎶🐾
Many thanks for the compliment Lady C!!

Many thanks Roberto! It’s a Subharmonicon but it’s very close to the Mother 32 indeed and someday I’ll get the M32 for sure. Cheers! Have a nice Sunday!

Thanks a lot man!
Another cup for me please: Shot of milk, no sugar. Thank you!
Great music!
Yours, Markus
Deal! Thanks man, appreciate that. No sugar for sure. Cheers Markus.
Dear Fred, I don't find this piece of music chilling, it is a mighty piece of music!
I like the constant build-ups as much as the calm that comes after each climax. All in all, I sense a deep melancholy in this piece of music in which, despite all the power and aggression, I can find chilling and lonely sounds, too. A piece of music like an entire life: A constant up and down in all colors and shades. Very well implemented! Congrats! 🙏
Yours, Markus
I agree with the melancholy. Every self-generated sequence that I’m creating with this synth is always kind of sad. I assume I could do salsa or bossa-nova but hey, it wouldn’t suit the mood of the channel 😅
Anyway, thanks for coming back to this one. I like generated ambient because the path is unclear and full of magic. I wouldn’t listen to this all day long but it creates a very peculiar atmosphere that I find interesting. Of course I would be able to go way deeper with modular but this is after all about testing what this synth is able to do as well.
Cheers man and have a nice afternoon.
"salsa or bossa-nova" 😂
Despite al the f***ing headaches I am suffering today, I do have a nice afternoon now. Cheers!
Yours, Markus
This is very cool Fred! I love the "Kicking Back' style of the video, it adds so much to the experience. The music itself is so soothing it could be used to calm down even the most agitated person in no time.
If you still have a spare key for your album, I'd love to grab it. You already have my email address, or do you need an email specifically for it to help you track things?
BTW. I will have the Roland SH-4d in just under two weeks. I went to the store and bought one a couple of days ago. I have to wait for my birthday to get it though. While I was at the store I saw they had a used Subharmonicon. I would have been tempted if I wasn't so set on the SH-4d.
Hey thanks man! Good news for the Roland! I’m curious!!
And of course I will send you a key, cheers!!
@@nolakeThanks Fred! I appreciate that.
Yeah, I am looking forward to playing around with the Roland. It has the best set of options for what I was looking for. Eleven oscillator types plus drums, all with a lot of hands on control
Very impressive! As inquiring minds want to know, what is controlling what? In other words please give crash overview of workflow. And are those individual notes (sounds) random or are you following some kind of order. You would know I would ask questions of this caliber LOL.
I created some random playground for the Summit and the Sub to play with. It’s basically arps doing nonsense with all LFO’s toying with each others. Then I played some extra notes to pretend I’m a musician 🤣
La machine a café coûte plus cher que le synthé ?
Lol non. Presque le prix du Subharmonicon dirons-nous 😊 Mais un vrai café ça n’a pas de prix!
Oh I forgot in my last comment. How do you know what notes are where on the Push (I assume that is a Push)?
It’s a Push indeed !
You may chose the key you want :-) so if it’s C Major, all the notes are from that key only. So it can be unpleasant if you’re doing nonsense but it won’t be false unless the key is different between the synths.
@@nolakeThat makes sense now you say it. I could probably do that from within my DAW if I wanted. I hadn't thought about that before.
Anything the Push does you can do from Ableton Live, only with a gazillion clicks and using your keyboard as a keyboard.
@ There’s one major thing that you can’t do without the Push, it’s the key sensitivity. You can indeed play every notes on your azerty/qwerty keyboard but every note you will play will be like throttle down. And changing the scale in real time on your pc or Apple keyboard is not very pleasant. But you’re right, I can do almost anything I want without it too, it’s way easier and funnier with it though. It’s a stand alone instrument that makes everything easier. Can you live without a smartphone, yes. But will you? 😊
And I challenge anyone to create sequences like the Push does 😅
