This album is a tribute to my four spiritual masters : Vangelis, Klaus Schulze, Harold Budd and Jean-Michel Jarre. An alchemy between Berlin School and electro-ambient. I'm so proud to share it with you guys. After “Jade Eternal” and “Souls don't Burn”, my two previous albums which you can also find on every streamers, this third album is the true essence of what I like to compose and what I listen to for hours every single day. I hope you enjoy the flight.
I invite you to listen to this album with headphones on and whenever you have a moment. Or while working, reading a sc-fi book, playing D&D with friends, meditating, relaxing,... no rush.

High quality album with a bunch of immersive and textured atmospheres. Very fitting as a group. You can easily score a movie soundtrack or some games with these titles. One thing I get overall, is the feeling of loneliness, as in if I was in a place all by myself trying to figure it all out. Maybe that place isn't a even a physical one. The feeling of uncertainty, confusion, dread, adventure, hope, urgency were all present in my perspective. It's a really unique and also a really cool album. All were great work, but my absolute favorites are "Signature," "No One Around," "The Awakener," "Bittersweet Departure," "Vanished" and "Second Tomorrow." The whole album definitely sounds like one full of top tracks though, and I also like the placing of these tracks. Excellent layering of sounds, sprinkling tones, attention to details, evolution, chords and drum/percussion work. I think your use of drums needs to receive more praise, as they are often a really great addition to the ambience. Whether they are quiet and minimal, or the backbone like on "Signature," I personally feel that is when you're at your best. Great display of stunning ideas and soundscapes with some stellar mixing and arrangements! I enjoyed this flight a lot! Congratulations, and much respect for this amazing accomplishment!

People can nail texture. People can nail composition. People can nail timbre, mixing, mood, pacing, etc.
But it takes a delicate and thoughtful balance of all these things to draw someone into a world, into a story sculpted in sound.

Was able to finally listen in its entirety today. I was taken back by the many emotions portrayed in this project. I couldn't help but wonder if it was supposed to be apocalyptic by nature or if there was a story being told. With the suspense in Someone, Somewhere I was just about waiting for someone to come thru that screen. Really enjoyed the perfect drum backgrounds when warranted. And those minimalistic notes were icing on the cake that set the tone. Without them the track wouldn't have been the same. This project screams your creative artistry that cannot be replicated.

For the record, the drums in Someone, Somewhere are a bass guitar that I play at very low frequency. You want new sounds? Torture them 😁

@@nolakeOK Fred, I just finished listening to it while working on animations. This album is incredible, every track is worthy of a commercial release by any of the big names in this genre. I think it could easily be taken for a release on a big label, the quality is definitely there. You have absolutely nailed the mix and mastering of this. Looks like your title will be safe for another year as soon as Synth Samurai hears this. My hat is off to you sir!

Comme amateur des atmospheres Blade Runner je trouve cette album superlatif. La chose interessante est que, meme si on peut trouver des elements 80, ca sonne tout a fait contemporaine. 1h40 de voyage (Nine Lives ma preferé). Curiosité technique: combient de temps tu as travaillé pour composer/realiser tout ca?

Ce qui prend le plus de temps n’est pas de composer mais de finaliser.
Je mets entre 3 et 5 heures pour faire un morceau mais je mets le même temps si pas plus rien que pour la finition. J’écoute chaque morceau dans plusieurs endroits (casque, speaker, voiture…) et je ne me presse pas. Je me laisse minimum 3 mois quand tous les morceaux sont finis avant de penser à l’uploader. Et ça doit sonner bien partout. Or y a toujours un instrument qui grince ou qui sonne bizarre donc faut recommencer le mix ou changer l’instrument voire refaire la piste.
Compte 10 heures par morceau au total donc 150 heures l’album sur un an :-)
