Thank you good Sir! Yes, lots of stories for sure. Some skulls had sword wounds, dagger holes etc, so lots of violence back then. A bit like a Friday night in Folkestone actually.
You did very well here Simon! I've never been able to determine conclusively why, but I have always been drawn to cemeteries and churches - perhaps a glimpse of ones own mortality? I could spend hours here at this one and B&W lends itself very well to the austerity of the subject. Great video, thanks for bringing us along.
Hi Simon, enjoyed that, very well put together piece , the music was really well chosen . The message also was a good one, something i should well set for myself ! Hope your well. Take care.
Superb photography, Simon. I found this video just when I was preparing for a project, but what on? You have given me some ideas, but it won‘t be cemeteries as ours, in my hometown, is too modern, like 1920s onwards.🇦🇺
Thanks again for the great comment! I live most of the time in Canada in a very boring little town, with nothing very old to shoot. I too am searching for more ideas. There are plenty of them, but often they are so close to us we don't see them. 🙂
hey buddy, japan In November, Jordan, Israel next month 👍, hoping to collect some decent footage here and there, and of course always a pleasure having a bevvy with ya 👍👍
Black & White Documentary Photography has always been a favourite genre of mine, but this project is a little different...
Fascinating video, Simon. A great set of images there, especially in the crypt. Thank you.
Thanks for watching Neil, appreciate it! 🙂
Very atmospheric, very enjoyable and a really compelling resulting set. But where can I pick up one of those cool hats?! 😁👍🏻
Haha, no merch store coming anytime soon, you need to know the management for one of those! If you want one, drop me a message. 😊
Another great video Simon and really splendid B/W shots. If only those skulls could talk, what a conversation that would make.

I appreciate you taking time to comment, thank you. Yes, churches and graveyards are fascinating, and certainly black and white seems appropriate. 🙂
Great work Simon. I do like a nice church, it has to be said. That's inspired me to be a bit more creative.
Yes, churches can be really interesting places to spend some time with a camera. Glad you're feeling inspired! Cheers Neville. 😊
Very enjoyable vlog. Thank you 😊
Thanks Paul!
Nice one Mr, brought back some memories when I was a night school all them years ago 🤣📷👏👍🏻
😆
Like the black and white never tried it for video. Thanks for sharing.
Great. I know this place - I've photographed it too. Unforgettable place, excellent video.
Thanks Chris. Yes, a unique place certainly.
@SimonBurnCreative what's unique about it? Surely, there are hundreds of old churches like this across England?
@@user.0704 There are only two with a crypt, or technically, an ossuary.

Thanks Lee, appreciate the comment. I'd love to meet up one day, I keep meaning to venture along the coast towards Broadstairs area. Cheers!
Excellent photos, Simon. Did you "get a tan from standing in the English rain?"
Cheers Ray, yes, my tan is looking rather good!

Cheers mate, hope you're well. Did you do your trip to Japan yet? I'm back at end of Oct, hopefully you're around and we organise a day out.
