Why is it the new CGI looks worse to me than the old CGI? I've gone back and rewatched the first movie a dozen times and still don't understand why they just look BETTER.
A big part of it is the ideas of the shots, the angles, the action, the movement etc. and the intelligence behind all that. The original JP1 had way more talented people working on all those things setting the scene, lighting, testing everything. All they have today is technology, no talent. When your technology is limitless they assume you don't require the same artistry and intelligent ideas. Because you can make ANYTHING right, so the "imagination" is limitless. But these people HAVE no imagination, they are just playing with digital 3d model toys and can't come up with a single intelligent scene, shots, movement, behaviors etc. An intelligent person with less resources like the crew of JP1, will figure out the BEST things they can make with that limited tech. An unintelligent crew like the JW trilogy with no limitations (as it is all cgi) will just produce bland garbage even with their limitless tech. The true value is in the ideas on HOW to use the tech that is available. Modern film crews have very poor grasp of this.
The dinosaurs in this looked embarrassingly bad. Such an insult to the original movie's visual effects breakthroughs and achievements. Doesn't hold a candle to the CGI in Prehistoric Planet.
0:10 And yet the first movie doesn't look outdated even by today's standards + it overall was miles better than Dominion.
Let it sink in that the main villain in a dinosaur movie was trying to control the grain market LMAO
@@olleselin yes....mo money mo problem
Sadly your right

This is the reason JP1 still look so impressive and this looks like expensive cartoons.
Overall the movie was meh, not great but entertaining and fun. However hats off to the vfx team because it looked absolutely amazing, incredible work.
animatronics and mindblowing visual effects cannot fix a shitty movie and script.
impressive how they got real dinosaurs for this film
This movie has a lot of flaws, but the VFX team did a great job bringing the dinosaurs to life.
The first JP had 54 visual effects shots, and this one had 1500 visual effects shots. WOW!
Serious kudos to David Vickery & the ILM team (👏). I give them credit where & when it’s due, and IMHO, this film is one such case. 😊
The movie is without vfx all the dinosaurs are real

@@PandemoniumPirateRadio every single jurassic world film has used some degree of practical effects. They built essentially the entirety of mainstreet
vfx dinosaur : SUPERB
plot :
It's a shame such hardworking people spent so much time working on a garbage movie. No offense if you enjoy this reboot series
should never have been rebooted.
Perfect example of putting fluff around something with no substance to distract the audience. It works better than Ambien.
Awesome!
Awesome
and yet the main plot is about insects...
While VFX today is very pretty it doesn't look real which used to be the goal
Ninja theory video games are cool
Going to work on movie sets is no fun.
What a complete disaster this movie is...
Cap
The whole Jurassic World trilogy has been a complete misfire from beginning to end.
Choose your side Park or World

This movie had some flaws, but it was a very fun family movie
@AJ ! you grow up and appreciate the movie and the fun time you could've had if you weren't so critical with the small flaws
@AJ ! honestly that doesn't make sense in this context
@AJ ! Someone found thier thesaurus
Cool
The review of this movie is so bad...
Worst JP movie.
