Rap used to be considered sort of like a competitive sport back in KRS-One's day, where technical skill was valued above everything. It's just not like that anymore...times change.
and it changed into something WORSE.
Necro is a legend
The prefix for death....... Fuckin dope, start to finish..... Necro is a legend
I need drugs and gory days are more my albums but prefix is good as well
@@xxcapxr3611 yeah, the first two albums and the Non Phixion original green mix tape are the illest, but Beautiful Music To Die To stilll bangs like when I first heard prefix drop.
@@Vision_3030 the green album was alright. Not my favorite but necro was my shit after high school. Even now but so much nostalgia!
@@xxcapxr3611 I was in the same phase of life when those albums came out, so naturally nostalgia plays its role as to why they maintain such appeal and a sense of appreciation still. The green cd Non Phixion put out was a watered down version of the original mixtape, they left out all the best tracks. Black Helicopters and I shot Reagan were my introduction to all those guys.
Death rap album is highly overrated
This is kinda cap, plenty of lyrical black rappers don’t get acknowledged either. Lyrical rapping hasn’t been mainstream since early 2000’s at the latest. And most white rappers I see fail to blow up try to be completely lyrical. Someone like Jack Harlow is white and eating cuz he’s less about lyrics and more about vibes, Melodic music similar to a drake who’s not lyrical either. Look at current Eminem sounding like he’s trying to spit every word in the dictionary on every verse that’s how most white rappers I see try to come out and that’s the complete wrong approach IMO
nah everything he said was 100
@@CantStopSwamp No it isn’t there are just way more black rappers then white rappers, and most white rappers are more corny.
@@robbie6833 you just proved his point 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 you slow lil bro
Nobody wanna hear that shit but yall lmao
Jack Harlow is big because he’s got the plain upper middle class look and has cool black friends
A hugh audience with disposable income that can identify with him and want to be cool like him and have cool black friends and get chicks but also be a plain, regular guy
All those suburban school aged kids can’t get enough of that, he’s who they want to be and the girls want to be with him. Same formula Mac Miller was for the 10s
same marketing strategy as vanilla ice but they know what they’re doing now
Yoooooo this is art yo thiss is neeeeded yall don’t understand necro🎉
This interview was a shouting match 😂
Necro is a goat weather u fuck wit em or not hes got some hard tracks and has spoke about some shit people today are talking about in early 2000s ...hes the real woke
he aint lying lmao
His Soulja boy impression is spot on 😂😂😂

Necro! Nas respect for getting him on Adam
Necro is living in 2010
@@EUCvibes I would never wear a sweat suit in public
more like 1995, sounds like an out of touch dork
Every underground rapper is stuck in the 00's for that matter.
To all those who don’t know who this is go listen to I need drugs album
Adam. Throw 917 Rackz on no jumper. Whole debate gonna change
I fucks with necro .schizophrenia the music video was a trip to me and the music video . Really was om some real shit much respect to u g.

Necro! Dead body disposable!
It's true what he said you ain't no big pun because pun is the goat nobody comes close.
ONE OF MY FAVORITE UNDERGROUND RAPPERS!!!! I NEED DRUGSSSSSSSS
"incorporating culture" truth
FIRST OF ALL the Technical definition of Hip Hop is the musical and artistic expression of the BLACK AMERICAN YOUTH. Soulja boy was LITERALLY the DEFINITION of BLACK AMERICAN YOUTH of the time and he lead ALL YOUTHS into the Internet Era. HOW DARE this Caucasian dude get up here and disrespect Soulja and say he's only successful because he's BLACK?? WTF??
Nothing he is saying is offensive. He’s basically saying where in an era now where people no longer have to be educated, musically inclined have natural aptitude or skill to achieve fame wealth or social status. He’s not dissing Soulja Boy because of his race, it’s because he’s wack musically + This segment isn’t just aimed at Soulja Boy he just used him as an example. He’s talking about these new-school rappers that make that same sort of wack s*** Which majority of those Artist… Keyword “MAJORITY” are from the black community. Where as Necro, he’s payed his dues for 20+ years but still get’s fronted on.
Nothing racist my brother.
@@deoxyribonuc00 this guy is a racist and nothing you said was actually facts
Look at the flip side, the public accepts med white rappers and hold them in such a high regard as long as they reach an acceptable bar hence Jack Harlow. On the other hand a med black rapper wouldn't get the same treatment. There are plenty of black rapper that are about the same level as Harlow and even better, but don't get this treament.
Ya your right and Jack Harlow is wack but his image sells. The 12 year olds were into it
He’s a everyday looking upper middle class suburban kid who gets chicks and has cool black friends
Every school age white kid wants to be that right now!
Compared to just another black rapper we have so many of
You know how big that audience is and their spending power ?
Nelly was/is Diamond 💎
N we judged differently in any other thing😂
🎯😂
Clearly FATSO ain’t paying attention. Lil Pump, Snitch Nine are non black cornballs and they went platinum.
He’s not wrong
Holy shit a necro interview ok I’ll watch but I’m not watching all your other weird shit lol
🍼 ill leave that there
Ok say he may have a point to a degree but heres the facts: first he sounds bitter. He compares what he does to what a soulga boy does and how he gets less credit while soulja boy blows up. Why? Has nothing to do with color. Its simple! More people can relate and can get lit or have have fun to a soulja boy song over his music! He is upset that some rappers are mainstream while people like him stay underground or just never reach the level of a more commercial rapper. And we can use any rapper it doesnt have to be soulja boy, i used him cuz dude said his name specifically.
This is bullshit…nobody into hip hop who is Black thinks Soulja Boy is dope…even if they are glad a brother made it.
nah he right
If that wasn’t the case then he would have never blown up and everyone during that time wouldn’t be doing the dance
@@CantStopSwamp No he's not. No one thinks souljah boy is dope!
Old white folks act like music doesn’t change with time 🤣 every generation hates the generation music after them,
And lyrical rappers are still mainstream it’s just room for every type of sub-genre to blow up now 😂 kendrick lamar, j.cole , etc
And Rap now is The NUMBER ONE GENRE from what it was back then, we came a long way and everyone helped put in they part for putting it on top
old fucks got to realize its sub-genres for rap now rap would not stay on top if it’s just always lyrical gotta have some fun, melodies, pain, every expression and sometimes expressions doesn’t need deep metaphors and incredible rhyme scheme🤣😂 just vibe out
Im a old white guy and I like a lot of new music but your right after age 28 I think they said something like 97% people stop looking for new music
But Kendrick Lamar and j cole are mad corny and weak lyrically.
There’s very few truly technical lyrical rhyming going on right now at all if any unless it’s the old guys
But I agree with most of what you said, it doesn’t have to be lyrical but it has to be good
That being said the 2010s seemed to be the peak of hip hop genre when the man couldn’t control the internet and tons of people able to contribute and very original ideas were being sparked
people were choosing what they like organically
Now the man understands how to use the internet and everything is more manipulated and gatekept even more so then in the 90s cause back then you could still handout and sell tapes and CDs
@@stevesharpe3370 i can see you say j.cole corny but kendrick weak lyrically? Cmon now my guy even his mainstream songs got ridiculous bars flying over your head b/c its catchy and vibey, but his deep cuts on the albums is bar for bar w/ your favorites rakim, nas, jayz, biggie, tupac stop playing
it was a little gay. indeed.😅
It was a lil Gayeee
Necro how you thing black people and Puerto Rican feel in society
Necro is one of the greatest rappers to ever live!!!!!!!
Him and Illl bill and non phixion.
Ill bill and apathy

He's not but he's very good
Adam’s white and has fake black friends who will get mad at him for having a opinion me and one of my best friends we have drifted apart but me and him spoke our minds like true homies
Why does he keep saying white and Puerto Rican Latinos are black also (some).. but white is white
This guy is one of those White rappers that actually have Low-key CONTEMPT for Black Americans. Allot of these other ethnicities that appropriate Black Culture, have Low-key CONTEMPT for Black Men, because they'll never be expected to the degree that feel they should be.

How DARE this Corny Caucasian dude get up here and DISRESPECT one of our BLACK AMERICAN LEGENDS Souljah Boy. Hip hop is a REFLECTION of BLACK AMERICAN YOUTH. It's NOT a reflection of ITALIAN YOUTH OR ASIANS OR GREEKS. (Respectfully). So Souljah Boy was a 100% Reflection of Black American Youth Culture, he's also a GENUIS, who ushered in the internet erra. These White rappers and Latin rappers are literally JEALOUS because they're not as relevant as BLACK RAPPERS. IT'S OUR CULTURE..DUH!
N middle class white boys buy all the shit n gobtge shows ... he has a point n don't 4 get vanilla ice made hip hop mainstream lol

No. 2
I’m quite certain Necro is not jealous, to say he’s irrelevant is so not true. Of course it may seem that way but that’s because he’s not a mainstream artist, he doesn’t make commercialized music that’s suitable for the general public. He’s a hardcore Hip-Hop artist that’s been fully independent his whole career which is 20+ years, never been subject to others authority.
No. 3
He’s 100% right, every Caucasian artist who came after Eminem is alluded to a corny, carbon copy of him.
mad at black people for a culture of music we created being majority black confuses me also as diverse as listeners and concert goers are a majority of the people that digest rap is white people so you might wanna be mad at your own community for not supporting you not us
He's not mad at black people lol. Whenever someone has a critique we act like its not based in any reality loo
@GodBody Karate he's 👆 right. I wouldn't even call it a critique more like complaining. I mean, hip-hop is a black american art form.
Who the hell is this

Adam's tryna start a cult for the white guy s....lol
He already made a black guy's cult it's time for white people
Nah, Necro & Adam are both big porn fans. He just wants to have 3three way with him
Necro sucks.
Fully independent, never been subject to others authority, did everything himself musically for 20+ years & still dropping music, sold out every show, the first rapper to do a full length album with Kool G Rap which is the favorite rapper of every favorite rapper. But yet he’s wack.
This is why we shouldn't let certain folks IN lol...they have NO IDEA what they're talking about. This is pure dissonance and misunderstanding....using YOUR artform 🤦🏾♂️
Certain folks in? What r u segregating
@Big Nachoo its not segregating. The guy in the video must have forgotten where hip-hop comes from. It's black culture, and he shouldn't complain about how we as a people accept our own in our music genre.
This is kinda white cap
How so? explain.
These Non Blacks want to appropriate our culture, without really knowing what it is. Hip hop is ALSO SWAG AND DRESS. Just because your some "spiritual Lyrical" white dude, doesn't mean Black people will bow at your feet. If your swag is corny, your not gonna make it that far in Hip Hop. REGARDLESS OF YOUR RACE.
Even Lord Jamar admits that there are plenty of white rappers who are better than most mainstream black rappers.
But if you feel the need to appreciate terrible music from someone just because they look like you, then go ahead.
The jealousy here is insane
How so? Explain.
@@deoxyribonuc00 because he’s attributing the success of certain rappers to the fact that they’re black, and attributing his lack of success to the fact that he’s white. It’s obvious to any non racist that the black rappers he’s talking about are just what is popular right now, and horrorcore is not.
@@boejudden9011 he isnt wrong. Its easier for a black rapper to gain success. This is an absolute truth.
@@RTMcFly-ni4qy if Eminem was black no one would give a shit about him.
@R.T. McFly because hip-hop comes from black culture, so it's looked at as more original and authentic when it's a black rapper.
Cornball 101
