@@felps_4500 ep 7 version is the one with one claw hand and one shield/mega particle cannon. I want that one reviewed because it has the best color scheme of the 2, and does also come with enough parts to make the 2 claw version
Yeah, the standard Airmaster is pretty awesome and isn't much different from this. Naturally it has a tweaked design SLIGHTLY alters the transformation (the longer wingspan makes it look more suited for atmospheric dogfights). If you like this kit you'll like the standard version (and vise versa!)
I built the Eins recently. Color separation is meh on the thrones, but the build was great for me, and it's sturdy as hell; no wiggle or sway. Also it was designed by Naohiro Washio before he designed the Barbatos and other IBO mechs. So you'll find a lot of similar design choices and call betweens among the kits he designed in 00 & IBO. The only fiddly thing about the Thrones I find are shoulder fins, and the mounted beam handles next to them. The fins feel a bit flimsy and seem easy to break once one attached, so you could leave them out if you don't want to bother. Also since the kit doesn't come with beam effects, I find it conveniently more awesome to put the beam handles in reverse and pretend they are shoulder mounted long-barrel vulcans. Also they have better knee placement, and don't suffer the same [dwarf upper leg with long ass shin & foot sticking way out the back] issues the IBO gundam kits suffer. Though they don't have FULL range articulation, they move very well in the wide range they have, and toss in great durability, stability, and overall sturdiness. Oh, and the overkill silhouettes are just awesome to look at, like IBO.They are on par with those kits, if not better.
@Diego Magtibay Sorta. There are plenty of changes to it, though. No chest cannons, no arm grenade launcher, no beam knife, and it's just not nearly as chonky.
@@archammer2 i have the HGBF Leopard Da Vinci and yeah it doesn't have any of those you mentioned but that kit had the potential to give us a proper HGAW Leopard but Bandai just had other things in mind and the Leopard is not one of it 😕
@Diego Magtibay It's not at all identical to the original. Even aside from the weapons, the body parts look different because it doesn't have vanilla Leopard's original asymmetry. Great kit in its own right still, especially for making customs, but not a substitute for a proper HGAW Leopard.
@Diego Magtibay It's not a big deal, I'm just a stickler for details. I would be down for more Gundam X kits since that's one of my favorite shows. I'd really like a Bertigo.
I had one of the original Airmaster kits-the HGGX 1/100 kit. It looked really nice, though it wasn't the most solid and the plastic on it was sort of brittle. I definitely wouldn't mind the HGAW version as I prefer the red colors for the MS.
Pretty sure that most people will repaint it in VF1 Valkyrie pattern color since this is almost closer to Gerwalk when it comes for the transformation.
I'd personally like to see the epyon, but that's mostly because i'm more into master grades than high grades. I'm sure most of the audience is into high grades, so my high grade choice would be the build burning.

I bought the standard HGAW Gundam Airmaster at a local toy store and it cost me 1400 pesos or 29 USD. It was tucked away at the back of the shelf. The box was slightly dented and had scuffs at the sides indicating that it must have been there for a very long time. Maybe someone hid it and hoping to come back for it but wasn't able to. As per comparison to this one based on your review, they are pretty much the same except for the wings and the colors. It also has a couple fewer stickers than this.
