Thanks for the review! Good quality equipment is often not a compromise. Frabill actually makes a nice collapsible with rigid net hoop, I believe it's rubber coated as well. 👍🏼 Thanks

I actually bought this at Walmart for 14.00 bucks and I use it to scoop up mullet when their just swimming along the boat. The mesh is perfect for catching bait fish.

i bought the smaller one today and its perfect for my kayak for 3-5 pound pond bass. havent used it yet but its only like 20 inches long when compacted

I have used frabil for a long time but I’ve never used that particular net Most frabil is good quality

Would love to see a review of the Frabiill Trophy Haul and/or a comparison to ego Kryptek S2. They seem to be contenders for non-collapsible nets. Or the Frabill Bear Claw versus Yakattack Leverage net for kayak fishing.

I use that net for crabbing... couldn’t imagine trying to land a decent fish with it lol. Nice and compact though

a little clenzoil will make that thing slide like new... spray, wait a day, spray and try to work it. did the same on my paddle

Ive used their smaller hand version. I hate that open style so much i replaced it. It is now a peice of wall decor

Whats wrong with using a different kind of net thats not rubber? Like whats the difference between rubber and a rope net? Thats interesting never heard that before.

Hate this net as much as I love it. Great design for kayaks, but poor build quality. Every single one I owned had that handle clamp broken within 5 days of using it. After about a year plastic disintegrates all together and you need a new one.
