That big V8 Patrol though... Such an underrated vehicle! Even with fully independent suspension and a petrol engine it's still a really good 4WD.
Especially towing the camper!
I will stick with the Y61 faults and all.

And let's not forget that a 200 series comfort and interior and road abilities cannot even be compared to a patrol. Funny thing is I am currently tapping this message while riding in my mate's 200 series!! 210 km/h top speed feels like nothing man! Cheers

He’s horrible at hosting.. every episode he interrupts Shaun and graham when they are speaking.. he always “try’s” to finish the sentences and most of the time gets the wrong end of the stick.
Honestly like jocko but he really needs to work on that.

The best views I have ever seen 4 wheeling in my Fj40 land cruiser,were in the great Colorado rocky mountains, hard to beat !
Been watching fora year now. I'm over in the U.S. in Florida (The Sunshine State) haha. We don't have the hills and climbs you have. but wow have I took some notes from y'all on camping comfort. (97 ford ranger 5 speed manual 4x4) love the adventures you all endure, you're a big inspiration all around the world boys!

Lived in Tassie early 90s, and did a few trips in, first a BJ42, then ,a HJ 47 Troopie, down the west coast to the Arthur’s River area.

@Mr. Cairo bahahaha, yeah mate. Go have a look at the size of the axles,diffs,control arms between them 200 looks like a toy. If I had 120k, I would still buy a y62, it's not about money. The y62 is better
@Mr. Cairo hey mate, the cv's are on the ends of each axle. Might want to revise your mechanical knowledge. I'm well aware of the fact y62's are independent all round.
And the Gu patrol, again, has much bigger diffs,drive shafts,axles than the 100 series and 80 series. And the GU has the mighty TB48 engine that all the Arabs smoke Lamborghinis with.
Oh, and what diffs do people put under land cruisers to make them stronger? Yeah, Patrol diffs.
But yeah, keep being a sheep. The y62 is my pick
