I wish they'd just create a complete reboot of Blood Omen. Playing Kain's story all over again in third or first person with modern graphics and mechanics would be incredible.
Not cancelled, but I'm counting it because it's not what was released: if you go back and look at the demos for Bioshock Infinite, it's a completely different and much bigger game than what we got. I imagine a lot of the cuts were due to the 360 and PS3 not being able to handle the scale of the project (some _huge_ levels on display there), but the story pretty clearly went through some very major rewrites too. I'll always be curious what happened there, what story they originally set out to tell but seemingly completely abandoned.
I'm a bit bummed about the cancelled Tomb Raider 10 Years Anniversary Edition that was in development by Core themselves. I think it would have been very cool to see the original team behind one of the most genre defining games in that era to get to re-define and enhance their initial work, but alas we got Crystal Dynamics's Anniversary Edition. Which by no means is a bad game, mind you. I just mourn what could have been :')

It's like that with a lot of things, there are teams of people working on advanced hardware that will only serve as a test case at best. My dad worked on the F-14D Supertomcat's AN/APG-71 radar, and that upgrade never saw any action, the Ds production got canceled right after it started in favor of the F/A-18
Jake plz look up Battlefield: Home Delivery. It's one of the weirdest cancelled games out there about a panda delivering pizza to people. It was going to be a surreal Japanese game published by Microsoft for the original Xbox, and it was made by the creator of Parappa the Rapper. Seems like it could have been a perfect game for you considering you have a lot of pizzas to deliver.
Bully 2 is the Rockstar Game that I Honestly would take over GTA 6 if they announced it. I legitimately think GTA V's Los Santos still will hold up as an Open World for at least another 5 years, but I'd love to see an 80s Influenced BULLY 2 with things like More Sports teams like Baseball/Basketball/Boxing/Football/LaCrosse to themed dances that take place over the year like the Halloween Dance/Christmas and the big end of the year Prom. Pranks, factions, more enterable buildings and then the extended Town Outside of the School area would be awesome. As for shooters I'd loved to have seen Rainbow Six Patriots because the plot sounded so interesting and unique, similar to the highly underrated Spec ops The Line that released in 2012.
Although kinda recent, the cancelled game that is stuck in my head is Alice Asylum. I was very sad when they announce the cancellation of Alice Asylum.
god fuck EA! the way they hold on to his IP and just want nothing to do with it. Though it was never picked up, it was always just a push from Mcgee to get a new game out of the franchise but EA just refused to go ahead and make the game in the first place so nothing to cancel.
The game wasn't cancelled because it was never even in development in the first place, they pitched the game to EA but it was never selected for development.
Dead Sun is my number one when it comes to titles that never seen the light of day that I desperately wish and hope they revisit with a revival of the series, at least as far as the gameplay elements. Looked so cool.
I was excited for armada of the damned. Its always there hiding in my mind. I was planning on being an evil pirate. Instead I was a sad pirate, until black flag came out. Then i was a depressed pirate.
Really a shame Highlander got canceled. I grew up watching the TV show and movies so as a gamer when I saw it for the first time in a magazine, I got super hyped. Then was deeply saddened to read later on about its cancelation. Hope it makes an appearance again
Man, just something about cancelled or unreleased games in limbo has always fascinated me. I will say that the LoK Dead Sun cancellation made me feel a type of way since I loved the previous games, especially Soul Reaver 2.
Scalebound and EQNext. Those are the big ones for me. There was also a Stargate Worlds MMO which had the lead developer embezzling the funds that left me beyond disappointed.
Deep Down and Project Offset... Two games I can't forget. I feel there are way too many solo only games out there, especially when they are based on a high fantasy setting. But these two games were looking great and featured co-op =/
Omg, that Legacy of Kain reboot yes! I alwaysremember this video of a female swimming boss head and breast (for some reason). Me and my friends were hoping that with Nosgoth (by what the people from the game said) we could get the IP some attention to the point that they would finally create a new single players game. But after seen the choices they made for Nosgoth playability and design, we could see that that was not gonna happen.
One I rarely see mentioned I believe was called Cypher Complex I remember obsessing over screenshots of that. The first iteration of Splinter Cell Conviction with a heavily bearded Sam Fisher looked interesting too!
If you ever do another one of these 'Coded Arms Assault' was a really cool looking PS3 exclusive that got silently cancelled. It was even playable at an E3 but after its initial story trailer it just faded away.
Anyone remember a preview for a game named Harker? You fought vampires and had a gauntlet that would reflect sunlight and block bite attacks. You also had to used the environment to finish off the vampires you fought.
Does anyone remember WET from Bethesda? It was like Max Payne but with this rocking 70's vibe. I thought the game was amazingly fun. The gameplay was rough at times but fun as hell, had a banging soundtrack, and was also kind of stylish. There was a sequel in development but got cancelled in 2011. Bethesda also stating that they would not be the publisher.
Not a weird cancelled game BUT: After playing Jedi Survivor it makes me sad that the KotOR Remake is stuck in development hell. I can only imagine the exploration/gameplay of JFO/JS with the rpg and companion systems of classic Bioware and the great story of the original game and I just feel depressed.
I love this series, I wouldn’t mind seeing a “games you forgot” series, talking about games that released and have seemingly vanished from everyone’s minds. One game I always forget about is the 2011 Bethesda game “Brink” that’s a cool one to talk about
That game is a now funny reminder to me and my friends why not to get too hyped for a game, we went to the "midnight launch" at our local GameStop that never occurred, if the game had more than a few weeks of real playtime in it we def would've played more of it
All these years I was under the impression that the Legacy of Kain game WAS what later became Shadow of Mordor, but I never thought to do any research on who was involved in both projects.
I don't understand why there are so few pirate games. After growing up watching Pirates of the Caribbean and the Goonies, I would love to have another good pirate game.
I remember the first time I saw "Live a Live" in my subscription to Nintendo Power and looking forward to it. Imagine my euphoria when I learned it was being remade for modern consoles.
@@TheSkaOreo Oops sorry I meant specifically released in English markets. I had seen an ad in an English speaking magazine for it originally. Hence my disappointment when it was canceled for English markets.
I was just thinking about _deep down_ recently. It still perplexes me on just what went wrong with that title. Capcom seemed to having something really promising on their hands. The few snippets of gameplay that are out there looked good. What happened, and where did it all go? It mirrors Lunar Software's _Routine_ in a lot of ways, not least of which being that both were announced and disappeared in similar time-frames. At least the latter made an eventual return, much to our delight. Wonder if theres a subreddit of diligent fans hoping to see the return of _deep down_ like there was for _Routine_ ...
Dude Nosgoth what a missed opportunity I remember trying it out for a bit and it had some neat things going for it. Didnt know it derived from the cancelled project.
Legacy of Kain is the series I want to return the most. Prince of Persia Redemption, the Darth Maul game, Mortal Kombat Fire and Ice, and Enclave 2 are a few that I think of. Also, the cancelled Oddworld games would have been interesting to see. I loved Stranger's Wrath and Brutal Ballad of Fangus Klot was supposed to be a follow up. I'm not sure that they were ever in development but Condemned 3 is another game I want, as well as the remasters of Onimusha 2 and 3 that were cancelled. Capcom his been killing it with the REmakes so Onimusha would be great to see again
Deep down I was so hyped for. A monster hunter dungeon crawler with souls like combat would of been amazing. Love monster hunter but the darker grittier aesthetic looked awesome
I’m telling you, the 00’s/very early 10’s were the best period for gaming. Even these cancelled games show all the crazy ideas that got conceived & worked on. Now we just get the same five franchises each year…
The Stargate game seemed like it had lots of potential. The other one I wanted that falls more into the category of the cancelled games than the weird cancelled games was Whore of the Orient, the sequel to LA Noire.
PT is the one that still brings me down, it would have been really exciting to see Norman Reedus take on the creatures and the mystery of Silent Hill. The collaboration of Kojima and Del Toro would have been one for the record books, bar none.
-at least there's INsane- at least there's Death Stranding....eh and PT was just a demo/playable trailer, the actual game was Silent Hills personally I think maybe they shoulda left silent hill be dead and do a spiritual successor maybe not this teamup but just a new game with the same ideas but set in a rural Japanese town set in say 1990? as some creeping horror drags the town into a hellscape or singles out the protagonist to torment and punish for some sin they committed? would make an interesting setup but I agree how that game was cancelled and Kojima's firing was insane and sad...
PT wasn't cancelled, it literally means 'playable teaser', that was the game, now the game that PT was a teaser for, a new Silent Hill, that WAS cancelled.
Have you talked about “WiLD” yet? That game looked so ambitious and rad. Also, the game that was announced as “Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age” that eventually became “Hunt: Showdown”. That original footage had me so pumped for a co-op Supernatural/Red Dead/Monster Hunter style game. Wish someone would pick up that concept and run with it.
Mercenaries 3 my step fathers nephew worked for pandemic studios back then he was the lead animator he signed my mercenaries 2 copy for PS3 but he showed me footage of them working on mercenaries three and it looks way better than one and two but he said it was around the time when EA bought them out to get to bioware.... Really sad it was right when. Ea made the frost bite engine
First thing that came to mind was Overstrike. Sure it did get released... but only after it got rebranded as "Fuse" and didn't look like the cool interesting trailer we were all excited for. Another one would be the Stargate games. I know there was at least one that got cancelled I have heard rumors of another or something. Man oh man the people who own the rights to stargate (I believe it was MGM now Amazon?) really... REALLY dropped the ball on that one. Having a video game where you can play as SG-1 (or one of the offshoots?) and explore planets would be SO easy for a video game. Plus with the stargate you could literally just keep making new planets to put into the game. The show had amazing stories for all the different seasons, plus the spin off shows, Atlantis, and Universe. I know back when the game(s) were being worked on it was still way to early to do the kinds of stuff they could do now, but still. A stargate game is a no brainer. I don't want to even point out the fact they could easily make a bunch of DLC etc but they literally could with including a dozen or so worlds that you would have to pay a bit extra to get access to. But having a FPS game, but with cool archeology, as well as scientific stuff would be pretty fun. Also a relatively new one though more like a fan remake is Goldeneye 25 which one guy was working on in his spare time building the game from the ground up in unreal engine? And was pretty far along. He was planning on releasing it FOR FREE but whoever owns the rights to 007 these days sent him a cease and desist letter effectively making him stop. Like he was so close to being done because he wanted to release it for the 25th anniversary of the N64 game. And the fact like a year later they announced the crapy port of goldeneye for switch doesn't seem like that much of a coincidence. I am guessing they wanted to put a stop to a much better version of the game being released for free vs having a bunch of people buy a crapy port they did nothing to improve on for the switch so they could get more money off doing nothing. Cause seriously we haven't had a decent 007 game since Nightfire back on the gamecube (avoid the PC version at all costs it sucks). A real shame. And I to remember the highlander games. I was a bit excited for them, however hearing the wind and whatever powers makes it sound stupid so kinda glad we didn't get something stupid like that. I want it based more like the first movie and maybe tv show and less like avatar the last airbender. :S
No idea of what the timeline is like but that Legacy of Kane game looks to me like it may have been canceled in part because it's just so similar to Shadow of Mordor. The combat, the traversal, the world, the whole having-two-characters-in-one-body aspect... Feels very possible that they learned about SoM and decided differentiating things would be too much effort and just shut it down.
I still think about this third person game/prototype that had this fluid cover and movement system. There’s still not many games with that animation and fluidity quality. The main characters where cops I think.. it impressed a lot of people at the time but then it just disappeared completely. Wish I remembered the name of the project.
When you mentioned Midway closing Rise and Fall : Civilizations at War immediately came to mind. Absolutely loved the merging of an RTS with Hack n' Slash gameplay. Wonder why there hasn't really been more games that tried to incorporate something like that?
I really thought no one remembered the canceled Highlander game…I think about the picture of the character jumping over a helicopter’s blades in a gaming magazine from years ago…thanks for the spotlight!!👍🏾
That Legacy of Kain game reminds me of Shadowman, specially the part about the living world and the deadlands, if not how it was implemented in the actual game, then how it was portraited in the original comic (and the Peter Milligan's reboot and the spin-off Punk Mambo, which is the best title ever).
I remember the biggest thing about "This is Vegas" being Kevin Pereira of G4 Tech TV / Attack of the Show fame constantly going on about the main character looking like him and was probably the only really sizable push the game ever got before its quiet cancelation
The cancelled game I always remember was Project Offset. Intel bought their tech and scrapped their project. I doubt many people ever heard of it, but it looked so epic at the time. Watched a video of their artist creating concept art for that game, and it got me interested in art. That artist was Khang Le, who was the dude over Hawken, and is now on that Towers project with Dreamlit... who knows if that'll ever come out.
Holy shit thank you. I saw a trailer for this like 15 years ago and always wondered what happened to it. I forgot the name of it and everyone once in awhile I try to remember it and never found it until now.
@@snowballandpals They had created their own engine for it and Intel purchased their tech. According to one of the guys involved, after Intel shuttered it, they tried to buy it back from Intel but Intel refused.
Fun collection of games I didn't know about. I do remember Deep Down though and I've been checking on it off and on. Kind of feel like its never going to happen now for sure. The Pirates of the Caribbean game though look actually kind of cool and it's a shame about the Legacy of Kane one. I can't think of too many cancelled games outside of Starcraft: Ghost and The Warcraft Adventures one. Maybe Witchmarsh? I think it's still being worked on though and indie development takes a LOT of time.
There was this one I found over a decade ago called Zombies: The Awakening, from a company nobody had ever heard of, but it had a really cool premise and some screenshots that looked really good. It sounded like it was gonna be a zombie survival immersive sim for PS2, original Xbox etc. There was another cancelled zombie game for the same console gen that I forgot the name of, but it basically looked like a GTA clone in a zombie/mutant infested city, with driving and third person shooting gameplay.
Holy moly. I was trying to remember the name of Deep Down the other night when talking to my wife about game from yesteryear that I'm still waiting to release, and then this video pops up. Thanks Google for listening to all my conversations, you done me a solid this time.
Im still upset about Bulletstorm 2 getting cancelled. Bulletstorm is still one of my favorite games of all time. The fact they cancelled Bulletstorm 2 for Gears of War Judgement makes me mad.
I will always remember a game called "Killing Day" that I think had a very quick E3 trailer. It was in the PS3/Xbox 360 Era. It had impressive destruction at the time, part of the teaser showed your player shooting at glass and having an enemy fall through the broken glass. It looked amazing at the time to me, it completely vanished.
I think about Deep Down all the time, it was the first PS4 title that really wow’ed me (Even though knowing now that it probably was running on high end computers). I still hope Capcom returns to it eventually, now that the technology has caught up. The idea behind it was so unique and cool.
Deep Down for sure. After how great Dragon's Dogma was Capcom really caught caught my attention with that one. I've got two more, both around 20 years old now, that still pop into my head every now and again: "Imperator", which was going to be a sci-fi, far-future space opera MMO. The reason it stuck for me is because it was set in an alternate universe where the Roman empire never fell. I don't even know if there was much media for it. Cool idea, though. "Strident: Shadow Front" was going to be an action game (I think) by Phantagram. It looked pretty sharp for 2002. Had some promising features that would have been pretty advanced for the time.
That first one had a cool mechanic. Not the shifting, but the voice In his head talks to him from behind, over his shoulder. That's unique how he walks up from off-screen.
I remember I got into Nosgoth randomly one summer, had no idea it was a LoK thing, and then out of the blue it just shut down. I still miss it, it was a lot of fun
There's a couple that oddly live rent free in my head: EXO - (2002) PS2 era ambitious FPS by Particle Systems and Infogrammes, only footage is a 2001 promo trailer, but the game did get some extensive magazine coverage using pre-production images. The Outsider - (2011) Frontier Developments. Was being funded by Codemasters but they dropped it and EA picked it up but pushed the Bourne IP on to it becoming The Bourne Redemption. Game was pretty much complete but cancelled before release. There's footage out there for it.
On the last video I was trying to remember the name of the Capcom Dark Souls like game... Deep Down! I'm glad it was brought up this time around. That game looked promising.
A cancelled game that will never leave my mind is Rare's cancelled GameCube games after they got bought out by Microsoft; specifically, Banjo-Threeie. Banjo-Kazooie is one of my favorite video games of all time, and Banjo-Tooie is quite up there as well. I personally think it's the best collectathon of all time, even rivaling the 3D Marios. Such a shame that the GameCube era never got the sequel. I don't think Nuts & Bolts on the 360 is a bad game at all, but the genre was horribly mismatched with Banjo; felt like the series got slapped on that game for brand recognition. Also, shout out to Donkey Kong Racing, cause Diddy Kong Racing is the best kart racer out there imo.
yeah diddy kong was the shit, mario kart is just pure not much skill,oh your last place heres something to take out the player with actual skill i got like 10% through nuts and bolts yeah hated it lul trying to be little big planet but shit, and spyro only played the original and banjo yeah best collecting games and warios world on the gamecube

Honestly my favourite type of video series you make Jake is this
Me Thinking of pizza briefly. New Jake video drops* NICE☠️😭
PROJECT OFFSET Jesus Christ I’ve been trying to remember the name of that shit for years
@@spibbymcgoo4877 I think their gameplay vids
I still want Deep Down… SO BADLY
The amount of my mental real estate that is taken up by games like this and sequels I wished we'd gotten is shameful.
If you ever do another one of these 'Coded Arms Assault' was a really cool looking PS3 exclusive that got silently cancelled. It was even playable at an E3 but after its initial story trailer it just faded away.
Even though I was kid when star wars 1313 was announced, I am sad that I will never play 1313 even as an adult today.
Anyone remember a preview for a game named Harker? You fought vampires and had a gauntlet that would reflect sunlight and block bite attacks. You also had to used the environment to finish off the vampires you fought.
Jake and his wonderful world of Metal Gear shirts.
my uniform
For cancelled games I’m aways bummed about Project Wight. We need more games where you play as the monster.
I wish they would make a new Stuntman.
Still play Ignition from time to time.
Ignition was awesome! totally forgot about it
They should make a remaster with a full vr mode
Does anyone remember WET from Bethesda? It was like Max Payne but with this rocking 70's vibe. I thought the game was amazingly fun. The gameplay was rough at times but fun as hell, had a banging soundtrack, and was also kind of stylish. There was a sequel in development but got cancelled in 2011. Bethesda also stating that they would not be the publisher.
Not a weird cancelled game BUT:
After playing Jedi Survivor it makes me sad that the KotOR Remake is stuck in development hell.
The resemblance really is uncanny
I don't understand why there are so few pirate games. After growing up watching Pirates of the Caribbean and the Goonies, I would love to have another good pirate game.
Because Capcom's Deep Down I bought PS4. So beautiful cinematic cutscenes that even now can't wait to play something looking like that.
It may not be a game but I still think of the Men in Black and 21 Jump Street cancelled movie. Man that could have been so absurd.
I remember the first time I saw "Live a Live" in my subscription to Nintendo Power and looking forward to it. Imagine my euphoria when I learned it was being remade for modern consoles.
Technically speaking it was never cancelled-it just never came to English speaking markets.
Though for years you could play it as a rom.
Wonder if theres a subreddit of diligent fans hoping to see the return of _deep down_ like there was for _Routine_ ...
>named baldino
>not bald
come on man
Imagine if Deep Down was shown at the PS showcase... 🤯 Always remembered that game
Dude that deep down game looks incredible. We need it.
Remember Wyld? A Ubisoft game where you play as a Shaman, ride a bear and talk to a giant snake lady?
PT is the one that still brings me down, it would have been really exciting to see Norman Reedus take on the creatures and the mystery of Silent Hill. The collaboration of Kojima and Del Toro would have been one for the record books, bar none.
-at least there's INsane-
at least there's Death Stranding....eh
and PT was just a demo/playable trailer, the actual game was Silent Hills
personally I think maybe they shoulda left silent hill be dead and do a spiritual successor maybe not this teamup but just a new game with the same ideas but set in a rural Japanese town set in say 1990? as some creeping horror drags the town into a hellscape or singles out the protagonist to torment and punish for some sin they committed? would make an interesting setup
but I agree how that game was cancelled and Kojima's firing was insane and sad...
PT wasn't cancelled, it literally means 'playable teaser', that was the game, now the game that PT was a teaser for, a new Silent Hill, that WAS cancelled.
Yeah and especially because it was like a resident evil before re7 went first person
I think about cancelled superhero games like thqs avengers game, daredevil man without fear, superman blue steel
that Flash game also looked awesome
KOTR3 cancellation crushed me. Still hoping some makes a new modern KOTR game
Love jearing jake just talking about video game stuff.
thank you
Mercenaries 3 my step fathers nephew worked for pandemic studios back then he was the lead animator he signed my mercenaries 2 copy for PS3 but he showed me footage of them working on mercenaries three and it looks way better than one and two but he said it was around the time when EA bought them out to get to bioware.... Really sad it was right when. Ea made the frost bite engine
I want to play Deep Down so bad
I still think about Star Wars 1313 😭🥺
always and forever lol
Wilson Bethel aka bullseye from daredevil season 3 was the main character in that game
I still think about Deep Down a lot like probably an unhealthy amount
Not quite cancelled, but I still can’t believe Lily Bergamo somehow turned into Let it Die.
I am sure that was the publishers fault, they are the ones that pushed Grasshopper to do that.
Deep Down, that's the game I never lost hope on.
I wouldn’t be surprised if you asked Capcom directly, they’d probably forgotten they had even announced it, let alone worked on it.
@@alsybroth HAHAHAH
I still think about this third person game/prototype that had this fluid cover and movement system. There’s still not many games with that animation and fluidity quality. The main characters where cops I think.. it impressed a lot of people at the time but then it just disappeared completely. Wish I remembered the name of the project.
I still think about GTA6. It's been so long, I assumed it's been cancelled. Lol
lol
When you mentioned Midway closing Rise and Fall : Civilizations at War immediately came to mind.
Absolutely loved the merging of an RTS with Hack n' Slash gameplay. Wonder why there hasn't really been more games that tried to incorporate something like that?
we will never get a titanfall 3, and it makes me sad
I really thought no one remembered the canceled Highlander game…I think about the picture of the character jumping over a helicopter’s blades in a gaming magazine from years ago…thanks for the spotlight!!👍🏾
legacy of kain dead sun reminds me of the movie face off
wow haha you're right!
That Legacy of Kain game reminds me of Shadowman, specially the part about the living world and the deadlands, if not how it was implemented in the actual game, then how it was portraited in the original comic (and the Peter Milligan's reboot and the spin-off Punk Mambo, which is the best title ever).
But do you ever think of Army of TWO?
DO I
@@JakeBaldino Free Salem and Rios lol
Not Agent, but the PS3 game called The Agency, the spy mmo type of thing. Kind of wanted that to come out.
Where’s the pizza?!?
That Daredevil game and In the Valley of Gods from the firewatch developers live rent free in my mind
I remember the biggest thing about "This is Vegas" being Kevin Pereira of G4 Tech TV / Attack of the Show fame constantly going on about the main character looking like him and was probably the only really sizable push the game ever got before its quiet cancelation
“Deep Down”
Seriously there’s no competition.
I am forever gutted that Deep Down never came out. Was so hyped for this. The trailer had amazing music.
I'm salty you reminded me about Ghost; or the fact that I used to love Blizzard once upon a time
There was this one I found over a decade ago called Zombies: The Awakening, from a company nobody had ever heard of, but it had a really cool premise and some screenshots that looked really good.
The fact they cancelled Bulletstorm 2 for Gears of War Judgement makes me mad.
bulletstorm, singularity, area 51 dunno what elese is underated
Killzone
ERRM WHERES KILLZONE
been like 10 years since the last killzone stop making horizon games dammit lel
or just a new fps by guerilla games
I will always remember a game called "Killing Day" that I think had a very quick E3 trailer. It was in the PS3/Xbox 360 Era. It had impressive destruction at the time, part of the teaser showed your player shooting at glass and having an enemy fall through the broken glass. It looked amazing at the time to me, it completely vanished.
I like how Jake's favorite games are either 1, games that never came out or 2, games that came out 20 years ago
I think about Deep Down all the time, it was the first PS4 title that really wow’ed me (Even though knowing now that it probably was running on high end computers).
I still hope Capcom returns to it eventually, now that the technology has caught up. The idea behind it was so unique and cool.
If this series keeps going, you might wanna start each new one with a recap of what’s covered in the previous videos. Hope it does keep going!
Deep Down for sure. After how great Dragon's Dogma was Capcom really caught caught my attention with that one.
I've got two more, both around 20 years old now, that still pop into my head every now and again:
"Imperator", which was going to be a sci-fi, far-future space opera MMO.
I was so hype for Deep Down it’s not even funny. Sometime I feel like I’m the only one who remembers that “game” lol
I remember I got into Nosgoth randomly one summer, had no idea it was a LoK thing, and then out of the blue it just shut down. I still miss it, it was a lot of fun
There's a couple that oddly live rent free in my head:
EXO - (2002) PS2 era ambitious FPS by Particle Systems and Infogrammes, only footage is a 2001 promo trailer, but the game did get some extensive magazine coverage using pre-production images.
The Outsider - (2011) Frontier Developments. Was being funded by Codemasters but they dropped it and EA picked it up but pushed the Bourne IP on to it becoming The Bourne Redemption. Game was pretty much complete but cancelled before release. There's footage out there for it.
here we go again, jake reminding me of great game concepts that i totally forgot about
On the last video I was trying to remember the name of the Capcom Dark Souls like game...
Also, shout out to Donkey Kong Racing, cause Diddy Kong Racing is the best kart racer out there imo.
yeah diddy kong was the shit, mario kart is just pure not much skill,oh your last place heres something to take out the player with actual skill
i got like 10% through nuts and bolts yeah hated it lul trying to be little big planet but shit,
and spyro only played the original and banjo yeah best collecting games
and warios world on the gamecube
Also revolt was a good racer n64 and micromachines on the ps2
