- MandRproductions reviews an amazing LEGO Star Wars set from 2015! This is the 75094 Imperial Shuttle Tydirium! The set includes Chewbacca, Han Solo, Princess Leia, & 2 Endor Rebel Troopers. For $100 upon release it was fairly priced and certainly a well built model barring one design flaw I've run into!

Timeless not confirmed, Dave Filoni says that he imagines that trooper as captain Rex, but it’s not confirmed. Rex was in the battle of Endor, but that isn’t confirmed to be him.

This was always one of those sets I regretted not getting. But somehow, a year after it retired, I found it at the LEGO store in Rockefeller center.

I had it all disassembled laying in a old drawer in my room, as a kid I built made my sets. After like 5 hours of organizing the pieces I finally rebuilt it.

@@flashfire9825 In fairness, he *did* have a white beard in the actual film (unless this is meant to be some other rebel.)
Rebels pretty much confirmed it with how Rex looks in the show and it stating he served in the battle so it is pretty easy to assume it’s him, and I like thinking it is him

This might be the first set to have the good guys with a bad guy ship which was a genius idea from Lego and yes I did watch the films ☺

I remember the summer this set came out my dad surprised me with this set and I stayed up all night building it,I was so happy and played with it all the time. Its one of my absolute favorite sets that I still have today.

3:20 is actually captain Rex it’s canon look it up. He was taken on the mission because he could wear the scout trooper armor and was used to it

Studle Baker actually funny you mention it they explain that jango fett does not look exactly like the clones because of how the clones were raised, jango was malnourished as a child so he did not reach his full height and muscle mass he could, the clones were made to be perfect soldiers and in doing so had a perfect diet and were raised at the highest standards of health.
@@studebricker2845 in this case the retcon doesn't really change anything. He looks enough like Nik Sant that it isn't obnoxious and it's clear that he was working with the rebel alliance and survived SW Rebels
Honestly the interior of this set is amazing compared to what we get now lol, its probably one of the few Ships that actually have good interior

If you have this set and want to fix the landing gear all you need are 2 technic pins which you can put into the bottom technic piece (in the bit which sticks out at aright angle) at the back of the ship this stops it from falling as easily when you want it in the intended landing gear position.
Owned this model myself. Don't think I appreciated it as much as I did after this video. U can tell Ryan has genuine love for really well built lego sets.

wow, only 5 years late and something no longer easily available. quality work
I love this set, it's awesome and truly one of the best Lego Star Wars playsets ever. I think you do have the landing gear built slightly wrong though. The foot section on each side should be attached at the end of each of the short sections of the technic L pieces and not at the bend in the L piece if that makes sense. doing that will shift the centre of gravity and largely solve the tipping issues you have at the moment.
Nice review👍I never bought this Set when it came out because i stopped collecting Lego Star Wars back than but now i started again and i got it like 2 weeks ago for 120€ and i am pretty happy because it usually sells for 150€ or more and i really like the Set.
I know this is late, but if you want it to quit falling, try putting bigger bottom pieces on the landing gear. To where if you move it into landing position, it will be raised higher and you might even be able to actually see the ramp on the bottom.

Ryan you could just easily put in a black technic stud in the technic beam to keep the landing gear vertical and that would work.

One of the best neutral SW sets there are, this can pass as a regular Imperial Ship.

Even though I'm 3 years late, I'm writing this comment as I wouldn't want people to be put off from what I consider to be a perfect build by Ryan's claim of a "fatal flaw" in the landing gear design. The problem Ryan has with the landing gear is down to what I can only assume is a rare error in the official Lego instructions for this build (pg 59 of the instruction manual); each landing gear 'foot' should be attached to the short end of the technic L pieces and not at the bend. When connected in this way, not only does this solve the tipping issue Ryan highlights in his review, it also makes the landing gear appear fully retracted when in flight mode
I love this set! It's my first Imperial shuttle set and I luckily could get one right when it was retiring too.
You could fix the landing gear by only turning the "L" shaped technic beams around so that what would be a 1 stud long protrusion from a standard 1x4 beam acts as a stopper against the hull of the ship
Ryan you have inspired me to collect Lego and you do such a great job making them
An example of lego being able to have firing play features (in this case, flick fire missiles) while still maintaining a good design for display

To fix the landing gear put a 2×6 white plate to limit the travel on the landing gear at 90 degrees...need to make the feet on my milenium falcon bigger as it's a bit wobbly too..
I got this set a few years ago, it is a great set. If your thinking of getting it, I would definitely recommend it

I got this set a year ago and it was love at first sight
I flipped the back 2 struts for the landing gear around so the short end of the L was up and then pinned the landing gear solid and in the center position..... removes the function of the gear but stabilizes it for display

Hey Ryan, first I wanna say is the way I got my Imperial Shuttle Tydirium is I walked into my local comicbook shop and they had it for 70 bucks. No box or Instruction manual but it was a complete set with minifigs so it was an instant buy. Second, I see what you are saying about the landing gear but my shuttle doesn't seem to be as wobbly as yours and mine was used. I always have the landing gear fully out and it sits pretty high up in my closet and its never fallen. I have even done some tests to see it it was as susceptible to tipping and it didn't tip unless I really caused a big earth quake like shake. I also opened the cockpit and it didn't tip. I dunno what it is about yours but for some reason it might be off balance ever so slightly that it has a tendency to wobble more. I dunno just my thoughts

It seems like you can move the landing gear one technic peg backwards and it might fix the weight distribution
I think this was the third LEGO Star Wars set I bought and is still one of my absolute favourites.
I got this set when I was like, 6 or 7. it's still in my lego room right now and it is a very good set.
I really regret not buying this when it was on the shelves. This thing is amazing

@@tenzdimond3213 the landing gear has 4 'L' shaped leg pieces. 2 on each landing 'ski'. The black pins are attached at the hole at the 'L's 90 degree angle. Move all 4 of them to the end of the bottom stick of the L. Hard to describe. Reply if it works!

I had this set, started building it and one of the main long pieces of the middle fin was bent, so I returned it. at the time I was unaware of lego sending replacement pieces.
I just bought this used with figures (no box or instructions sadly) for £71 which is around 75$. I’m really excited for it but there’s a few pieces that have yellowed over time which I’m a bit bummed about. Still it’s really good and I’m so excited for it to arrive!
Idk lf anyone has pointed it out but I think the minifig w the weird beard at 3:27 is supposed to be captain Rex before they aknowledged that it was him in rebels

I'm pretty sure that minifig with the beard is captain rex as in ep 6 the old rebel trooper with the beard who is shown when han lures a stormtrooper
One of the very few Lego Star Wars sets I regret passing out on, along with Jabba's Hutt + Sail Barge.

I had before the very first 2001 Lego imperial shuttle that had one officer , 2 red royal guards n the imperal palpatine n now I have the newest 2021 Lego imperial shuttle with a officer , darth Vader n Jedi Luke skywalker but I really like the back inside space of ur 2015 Lego imperial shuttle Tydirium
When I saw this video in my Notification Center I immediately went to eBay to find any good deals
My only problem with the set is the studs on the sides of the cockpit. I ordered this set and when im gonna get it im gonna modify it to a display model
I wonder what the amount of weight or support you can add to the ship is that won’t be too obvious or take away from the build overall.

I always display mine with the legs straight. Didn’t realize the box suggested they be forward. Why does there need to be a stopper for them?
