Meet Hollie and Her Rig Mischief Maker Hollie Fowler grew up far from the red rocks of Moab in Scotland, where she built a successful career as a professional opera singer. Ten years ago, she moved to the US in pursuit of adventure, which she found after buying a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Chief Edition. Hollie was drawn to off-roading for the challenge but she couldn’t have predicted the community she found along the way. @@MischiefMakerTV I am glad to hear that. I think your Johnny joints are making that noise but I hope you film it because be good to know what’s the cause. I will message you on instagram I got a question on Gen right underplating
Nice! I just had to replace my front skid plate it's been worn out for awhile now. My wife's rig sounds like yours. She had a upper control arm joint that was blown out. Can't imagine why after 7 years of hard wheeling LOL. I will post a video of her on the Barnwell rock garden and you can really hear it. I noticed it in Arkansas last year and the broken RCV cage too.
Great Jeep! Great Driver! Great video! Keep em coming! Oh and you have a little dirt on your dash, floor board, seat, steering wheel, etc... THAT IS ONE HAPPY JEEP!!!
Thanks for the walk around on MischiefMaker, nice to know what is under all that paint. Next would like to know more about Hollie and what make her tick.
Hey David. I hope you are good and you have a wonderful weekend planned. A lot of people and I guess new subscribers are asking more about myself so I guess I will be making a video pretty soon I'm telling you guys a little bit about me and my background and what I loved you and yeah it should be pretty cool getting to know Hollie if he will
Thanks for the walk-around! Loved the specifics on your mods. You’ve built a beautiful rig! Maybe in a future video you can show us what you use to haul it on. Truck/trailer combo? Keep crawling!
Hey, the squeaky makes it sound Heavy Duty! My very first 4WD was without power steering and that will beat your wrists up. Power Assist to the power steering, Luxury! Nice Walk Around. A lot of thought went into your Jeep and it seems to work well for you. Looking forward to next video.
So the jeep itself weighs about 6800 to 7200 so it is pretty heavy duty it also squeaks because I have not greased anything since coming back from king of the hammers which is really terrible of me but at the same time I was not supposed to be here now so yeah. Thank you so much for watching I really do love my jeep and I hope that comes across to you guys and I am really looking forward to the next project that we're working on

Mud is a whole different monster. If I had a dollar for every 700HP rig with an unfortunate crawl ratio I see struggling to crawl under control out in CA, AZ and UT - I could retire 😂😂
I've heard the weather is pretty diabolical at the moment so we're just gonna take it nice and easy when we get there we get there. Thank you so much for the kind message and I hope you have a wonderful weekend
S/O to Leo & Trevor at TNT Monster Truck! Makes me proud that my rig was built by the same guys that brought the world the infamous MM. I still remember dropping my Jeep off at Leo's & seeing MM in it's infancy... full width bumpers, Dana 30, DV8 tire carrier. Oh my how he's grown!
Ha ha Ha. He has grown quite a little bit. I would have thought back then that I would be where I am now giving up normal life and being on the road all the time with my jeep. I am so happy and thankful for the guys AT&T monster truck built such an awesome freaking jeep
@@MischiefMakerTV I remember when that was chit chatter at the shop, "they sold the house to go wheeling full time". I honestly thought y'all were bonkers for doing that lol. Mad props for rolling the dice of life & much respect to Walter for supporting your endeavor.

Did I miss the axle gear ratio? Why not run a bikini top to keep the sun off or better yet, an Al top attached to the cage that will stop "objects" from intruding in the cage?
So I do normally run a spiderweb shade I actually have a double up on them so that the sun or tree branches or anything like that doesn't ever fall into the jeep but at the moment they are soaking in bleach so that they are nice and pretty for April and the beginning of our tour

I certainly do..... I feel really tired of putting my jeep into garages especially when we're traveling around and then things not being done right so I took matters into my own hands and if I don't know how to do some thing I will ask one of my many friends who are professionals in this industry or I will go to RUclips and learn how to do everything myself
Hey good morning Jeff. I hope you are well. Maybe just maybe what do you think about me doing a refresh on who I am and how we came to doing this for a career?
Love your Jeep, just wondering if you’re winch has ever let you down been the wireless type and where can I buy the same front grill as yours from?, thanks.
flobuiltconversions.com/ That's where you can find the grill and not at all with the winch. Just make sure you always have it charged or a charger near by 😀
I will absolutely be a bantam again this year I am super excited to be working with the butler brew Works in Butler and we will have our own beer again there and we will be having an event on Thursday evening before Bantam starts Friday
Hello Hollie. You must of read my mind! :) I've been looking at some of your build videos. I have never been wheeling but was curious how you built your Jeep.
Youve spent alot gettin that baby to your liking. Almost gotta take outa second mortgage or maybe an only fans for jeep liberation. lol tanks for the walkaround you Rock
I appreciate the effort you do to keep your vehicle up and running how you do a lot of your own work, And you don't have the most expensive widgets cages on your vehicle you're more of a everyday true for Wheeler Versus another good team of people like bright nation, Just that they have gone beyond the common everyday man 4 by 4. Still watch their videos but realize, Everything they have is high dollar value in the overall vehicle is not the average for Wheeler.
I've been following your videos for about a year now this video is the best I've seen of your series. Good Content with excellent video .i even appreciated the squeaking, I'm like mine I'll be interested in your DYI how you fixed it
Hey Dave. I hate squeaks also. The squeaking is coming from the new bushings that I put in the control arms just before going to king of the hammers. I wheeled 10 days in a row regressing them every second day at the Hammers. There's just a bunch of dust and rocks and salt stuck in there she's making them squeak because it's made them dry out so I'll have to do is clean the jeep up re-grease everything and no more squeaking
I've always wanted a jeep but stock they are so expensive I was looking at a 99 jeep wrangler was exactly what I wanted that's the last year they put a manual in them what do you prefer for offroading I've watched alot of rock crawling videos and looks like the Manuels have more trouble
It's not the manuals have more problems it's that honestly to wheel you have to have a high skill level to rock crawl in a manual in my opinion. I have a couple of friends who have manuals and they are fantastic drivers and do anything and everything that they want on the trail
Hey Matt. This is a question I get asked on a daily basis. I absolutely love my 36 and won't ever change it even if this engine blows up I'll probably still put a 36 pack in there. The reason being is that everything works it is a Krawler the crawl ratio is perfect and dialed in now. That's why I am building a fast vehicle. Keep you posted on that😃
Cool ideas… I can’t wait to try some of them. Too bad I’m still waiting on my Jeep that I order going on 2months ago. 😭🥺. Who knows, I might make my own RUclips channel.
Excellent video as always Hollie. You could definitely tell you stopped to talk for a bit with how much the clouds had rolled in when you tuned back in. My only critique is lets get some fresh music in 2022, and this isn't only for MMTV, its all across the board with offroad videos. I feel like everyone cycles through the same 12 audio clips. There's so much music out there in the world, lets mix it up a little more.
@@MischiefMakerTV try some of the hickhop also known as country rap music. The Lacs, NuBreed, Adam Calhoun etc. or Steel Woods, Whiskey Myers more of an Americana sound.. Just something different than anyone else., you'll find something out there that will make you even more special. 👍🏼

Born and raised in Scotland 🏴🤟🏻
I'm Scot/Irish! My wife Scot/German. We enjoy your videos!
Great overveiw of your ride. Very nice.
Awesome Jeep you have! And really like your enthusiasm ☺️ Keep up the great work 👍🏼
Such an awesome jeep!
Pretty awesome video!
Hi Holly,
Have you stopped running super stickies?
They wear pretty fast and are hella spendy but they climb trees.
Still running sticky tires. BFGoodrich tires
Cool Jeep. You should rename it "Mr Squeaky"
Yeah, good Woman! Callin your ride a Man! I'm so exited !
😂
So why do you wear ear buds with such a rocking sounds system?
Hey Bob I was wearing earphones because I was doing voice overs on the phone same time. Very complicated life I live very complicated life😂😂
gee...cool for a jeep...do ya do your own upkeep...ie change oil and repairs?
I certainly do..... I feel really tired of putting my jeep into garages especially when we're traveling around and then things not being done right so I took matters into my own hands and if I don't know how to do some thing I will ask one of my many friends who are professionals in this industry or I will go to RUclips and learn how to do everything myself
What about the powerplant? And the heartbeat of the machine, you? What got you started into the sport?
Hey good morning Jeff. I hope you are well. Maybe just maybe what do you think about me doing a refresh on who I am and how we came to doing this for a career?
@@MischiefMakerTV I think it's a great idea. Not a single viewer would complain.
You didn't mention it, is that a Federal Q siren on the back?
The mischief maker actually ends up staying on the trails and keeping out of trouble
Look good as always. And so do jeep
Love your Jeep, just wondering if you’re winch has ever let you down been the wireless type and where can I buy the same front grill as yours from?, thanks.
flobuiltconversions.com/
That's where you can find the grill and not at all with the winch. Just make sure you always have it charged or a charger near by 😀
I really enjoyed this video! The slow motion shots 🤌🏻🤌🏻
Also, it’s exactly 11:11 mins long. ✨✨
Are you going to Bantam this year?
I will absolutely be a bantam again this year I am super excited to be working with the butler brew Works in Butler and we will have our own beer again there and we will be having an event on Thursday evening before Bantam starts Friday
Hello Hollie. You must of read my mind! :)
I've been looking at some of your build videos.
I have never been wheeling but was curious how you built your Jeep.
Yes, this was nice, Thank you!!
Youve spent alot gettin that baby to your liking. Almost gotta take outa second mortgage or maybe an only fans for jeep liberation. lol tanks for the walkaround you Rock
😂🤘🏻
11:11 and Carolina blue;)
What’s your diff gearing at? And would you ever go to the 4 speed atlas or are you happy with the ratio? Sweet jeep
You mentioned “Tom woods driveshaft”, now what about the U-joints?
U - Joints are the “weak link” of the drivetrain. What brand or type do you use?
I love my Tom Woods drive shafts!! Just a phone call and he will se you up!!
I've been following your videos for about a year now this video is the best I've seen of your series. Good Content with excellent video .i even appreciated the squeaking, I'm like mine I'll be interested in your DYI how you fixed it
Hey Carol. Thank you so much for being part of the MischiefMaker family and thank you for all of your kind words.
...and the steering wheel? Thanks for the video around! About the squeaks, what's the main cause? My wife hates our squeaks...
You were talking about truck place in New York I used to live in New York on Long Island in Kings Park Are you from the general area Or there about
We were in Eastport
I've always wanted a jeep but stock they are so expensive I was looking at a 99 jeep wrangler was exactly what I wanted that's the last year they put a manual in them what do you prefer for offroading I've watched alot of rock crawling videos and looks like the Manuels have more trouble
It's not the manuals have more problems it's that honestly to wheel you have to have a high skill level to rock crawl in a manual in my opinion. I have a couple of friends who have manuals and they are fantastic drivers and do anything and everything that they want on the trail
What do you recommend they stopped making them manual in 99
Nice jeep Hollie. What engine is in it?
3.6 🤪
@@MischiefMakerTV
3.6? Really that little engine can spine those big tires. My son is building 60’s for right now and has the 3.6.
Great build! I'm surprised you're still running the stock 3.6 motor. Any thoughts on swapping in a V8?
SAVAGE JEEP SAVAGE VIDEO
Excellent video as always Hollie. You could definitely tell you stopped to talk for a bit with how much the clouds had rolled in when you tuned back in. My only critique is lets get some fresh music in 2022, and this isn't only for MMTV, its all across the board with offroad videos. I feel like everyone cycles through the same 12 audio clips. There's so much music out there in the world, lets mix it up a little more.
Hey John. I totally feel you on the music.
New subscriber from Boise I know I won’t be disappointed 👍👍
Thank you my friend
Hey girl. What are you have for power under the hood. It is a badass Jeep.👍🏽👌🏽🤙🏽👏🏾🙏🏽✌🏽🙋🏽♂️.
Are you ready for this? Are you sitting down? It is the stock engine vroom room
Hi Hollie, With your build with 42's and suspension, how high is the step from ground to bottom of door opening? Thanks, Ben
It's a big step! In the previous video Jamie from MOOR had to use the rear tire to get up.
@@gordonrichardson2972 Hi Gordon, Thanks for replying. I realize its a big step but was looking for more specifics. I am running 37s on my TJ with a 4" Clayton long arm and 1.25 " body lift to clear my atlas. I used to use my rear tire too until I had my shoulder joint replaced.
Switching to a double shear clamp up front. Wondering if you still like the other end welded to the diff cover and if you fixed the diff leaking
What made you choose the suspension you have now?
Finally! Love it, the squeaking adds character
