In 1982, the Lebanon-based Palestinian Liberation Organization began infiltrating Israeli borders with attacks that brought swift and powerful reprisals. Massive artillery and mortar attacks were traded across the border.

CORRECTIONS: Arafat was NOT a so-called Palestinian refugee. He was born, breed & educated in Egypt. He was an Egyptian. From Jordan Arafat sent out a call to ALL Arabs to join him in his fight against Israel. Arabs from ALL neighbouring countries heard his call & travelled from throughout the ME to join his cause...Arafat's fight against Israel. Hundreds of Arabs from surrounding Arab countries went to Jordan much to the displeasure of King Hussein. In Hussein's own documented words "those that came to Jordan to join Arafat were a very 'unsavoury lot' that brought much unwanted trouble to me, my kingdom & my people'. He drove them out & they went to Lebanon. Those Arabs who joined Arafat to become the PLO/Fatah, the majority were not even Palestinians.

      You are completely wrong
Yasser Arafat belongs to the Husseini family
His father is from Gaza and his mother is from Jerusalem
And Yasser Arafat's father went to Egypt for a job
Yasser Arafat is Palestinian, but he was born in Egypt
As for King Hussein, he intended it after the displacement of the Palestinians in the war of 1948
Twenty years later, Yasser Arafat founded the Fatah movement and called on Palestinians from refugee camps in Jordan, Lebanon and Syria to fight with him.
That is, all the PLO were Palestinian refugees
Also, according to what I believe in Lebanon, the conscription of the Palestinian was compulsory, meaning the uniform of military service
Until now, there are Palestinian factions in the Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon

    • @zoro-ls5pq

In short, the Palestine Liberation Organization and all Palestinian factions, its members are Palestinian refugees, and for this reason the revolution arose only in the Palestinian refugee camps.

They attacked and bombarded a good deal of civilian areas and targets. I have survived this invasion. It was quite tough. They attacked our school where we were staying, shot one student and got a worker entirely covered in blood from shrapnel wounds. They shot our building with a rocket, destroyed the wall and a balcony. They also started shooting like mad at our building, left holes everywhere, etc

My dad was in the UN somewhere in the late 70s / early 80s in the area. He went down there sympathetic to the Israelis, and with all the shit he saw down there, when he returned he swore he'd boycott Israel for the rest of his life. Never bought so much as a piece of fruit from them ever again.
One of the things he told me the IDF liked to do, was to direct artillery fire onto graveyards, to litter the place with exposed decayed corpses.
That's one of the more relatively harmless things they got up to, but it shows a certain level of disrespect and attempt at terrorizing the civilian populations.

The Israeli army was the 1 who invaded Lebanon in 1978 & '82 & annexed south Lebanon until 2000 (with the Shiba' farms still occupied) & still occupies the Syrian Golan heights;-not vice versa.
The Syrian troops which were stationed in Lebanon due to Lebanon's request & the Lebanese resistance hv all the right to fight the Israeli occupiers who were enemies on Lebanese soil. The Lebanese & Syrian resistance is a product of Israeli invasion & illegal occupation.

if you actually take into account punctuation, you would see a ? after the "9/10ths of the law" I was answering the implication that even if the answer is yes, then there would be no issue, but it isn't,that is why the Israeli settlements are deemed "Illegal" by the UN (& others) & should be returned under international law. I also recommend you re-read "all" my reply`s to see the correct context.Another important point is any religious Jew knows that it is forbidden for the Jews to have a state.

On top of that they killed an Orthodox Priest by beheading him with a kitchen knife, cutting open a dead Syrian soldier and eating his heart and the person who done it, had boast on tape he had done it before 6 times. They threw people off buildings innocents and soldier's, making them plunge to their deaths. Britain did not invade Ireland looking for "another homeland" as you put it. It was a create an Empire through colonialism. I could explain it in more detail but it would take me ages.
