First album by VH is a must have in any collection. Ice Cream Man and Little Dreamer are two great, underrated songs. Atomic Punk is a banger.

You are getting into the roots of Van Halen with this song. You might want to consider a full album listen with Van Halen I. So many great songs on this album. If I had to pick one or two...probably "You Really Got Me" and "Jamie's Cryin".

I used to play this album as loud as possible and in particular this song! Love the line "You know your semi good looking" 😂 we didn't pile on make up and basically just wore shorts and tank tops. The dudes were just dudes lol...now day's you got lot's of soy boys! This was in Cali so we mostly hung out at the beach. Anyway great reaction! ✌

Great reaction. Such a classic riff in this song. Other great songs of theirs: 'Unchained,' 'Everybody Wants Some,' 'Hot For Teacher' 'Jump' and 'Why Can't This Be Love?' (with Sammy Hagar as the vocalist).

Also, as you probably read from your previous VH reviews, VH has had 2 different lead singers … OG - David Lee Roth and later Sammy Hagar ….. nobody and I mean nobody puts on a show like DLR!!!! Sammy is awesome in his own right, but in my own personal opinion DLR was/is and will always be Van Halen 🤷♀️

Unfortunately a lot of their greatest stuff is gonna be audio since it came out pre MTV. But if you enjoyed Panama, you really need to check out the official video for Hot For Teacher and of course, Eddie's Eruption solo, live without a net is an absolute must. VH is definitely a force to be reckoned with.

I’m with you BizMan. Van Halen is not for Pussys!!!!!! They bring the energy and vibe every time!!!! My 2nd favorite band all time behind ACDC hombre!!!! Probably because the lads from Australia were a few years ahead of them. Their penmanship is outstanding, the guitar playing (Angus vs Eddie), the singing (Bon & Brian vs David & Sammy) etc…..
