Not sure if I like Amazon to be the publisher but we will see how they handle it this time. What really surprised me was the supposed june release date. If that date would be true, TL would have to compete with Diablo 4 which also releases in june. From a western audience standpoint, I think Diablo 4 would get more attention from a lot of players than an asian MMO from a known P2W developer (not saying it will be P2W, just refering to the past). They should really aim for april or may to release TL to have their time in the spotlight.
Does Diablo 4 really have a lot of expectations? I haven't played any Diablo game so I can be 100% wrong but as far as I have heard Diablo 3 wasn't that good and Diablo Immortals was a massive p2w disaster besides Diablo is an asymmetric game. From my perspective if some one had to decide between an unknown f2p game and an unknown 70$ game, I would choose the f2p game any time, can always try the 70$ game later.

Final Fantasy 16 as well 😂 June is radioactive they're crazy as hell for trying to drop in June, but more power them. May has Zelda at the end of the month so if they're going to try and do May I were trying to like the beginning or the middle. But I mean if they do like the middle of June, they may be all right depending on what the leveling looks like and all of that. So who knows. It's just there's a lot of crossover in the MMO community with the RPG community at large. I plan on playing all of this s***
The greatest sign of a good game for me is when you log in and have a set goal to accomplish, and then hours later you forgot what you set out to do because you got distracted, but you don't care 😄
Honestly, unless we know the details of it, I'm going to go ahead and say Amazon is a good choice. With Microsoft that had to deal with the Microsoft store or some other ish. With Amazon it's 100% probably going to be on the steam which is a good thing. Not so sure. June is a hot idea. Really won't know until I guess we play this beta and you see how long it takes to level and kind of get established in the game or whatever because June is radioactive. Like I said in another post between Diablo and final fantasy 16 hell Zelda is coming out of the end of May which is going to bleed over until June. There's just so much crossover between RPGs as a whole and MMOs. So I'm currently reinstating my stance of eye plan on taking the whole month of June off 😁

The audiences are relatively different. I have no intention of playing D4.

Sea of theives is the only game since lineage 2 that does this.
New World does that, and it still kinda sucks.

Well, it is a mixed bag. NW at least had zero P2W, Lost Ark had a lot of P2W. So we shall see which direction they go I guess.
