Tropical Storm Ernesto approaches the Caribbean. Storm warning for Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands.

At 5:00 PM, the National Hurricane Center classified Ernesto as a tropical storm. It currently has maximum sustained winds of 40 mph and will be crossing over the Lesser Antilles in the morning hours of Tuesday.
Afterward, the National Hurricane Center forecasts that it will cross over the U.S. and British Virgin Islands and the eastern part of Puerto Rico.
