In the south of China if you will. It‘s similar like Hong Kong and independent. Very famous for its casinos etc., basically the asian Las Vegas. It has his not very asian name, because it used to be a portugese colony...
If you dont het the rule you have to drive the lap once. Then youll get it. 😁😁😁 The only games i can remember having this track is obviously racr room, Asseto corsa (mod) and Race Pro i dont think many ppl know Race Pro but pretty decent game. I dont know about i racing though if maccau is there.
Q: What if F1 raced at Macau? A: It'd be shit and full of safety cars. Just like every other race at Macau. I hate this track like no other major circuit on this planet.
I'm pretty sure jimmer said at some point he has a speech impediment, not sure though. He has done some commentary on a few sim races and he did a brilliant job.
i think US Legends cars would do well in Macau if they ever bothered to race in places other than dirt circles and go-kart tracks. they're smaller than Austin Minis, powered by ~140hp motorbike engines, and are a heck of a handful with their tiny wheelbase, rear-wheel drive, and short gear ratios /watch?v=s_oq3kQLHQg
I wanted to see if jimmy had a Macau video today so I looked it up and I can’t believe he posted it right before the French Grand Prix, 4 years ago. I thought he had just posted it haha
Imagine being a bus driver in Macau... Try it with Raceroom. If you did your qualy in a Porsche and then took a bus onto the track you could drive around collecting and dropping off lovely passengers. Find out how their day was going and still win the event.
Macau is a great track. The idea was certainly inspired by Monaco but they added straights and high-speed corners in it. It's a pity that the course is too narrow and nearly impossible to expand.
Drs in RR works in the way it works in DTM you need to be within 1 second at start finish and then you get 3 drs uses you may use anywhere you like during the lap
You should host a race with the MP4-30 at Belle isle in iRacing. That sounds like fun for all involved doesn't it. There won't be any death or pileups no no. :^)
Actually Macau GP has a rich history with some F1 drivers (eg. Michael Schumacher, Max Verstappen...), much like Monaco GP. The circuit has been around since 60s, and really challenging. Mainly host F3, GT, Bikes. Lots of overtakes and crashes, which are quite crazy actually. Recommended to watch F3 dramatic finish at Macau in 2017. It’s exciting for racing and spectators to watch, although circuit equipments are outdated and poor quality marshals. Speaking as a person from Macau 🇲🇴
Btw can u drive the Pagani Zonda R? It's such an epic car, yet it's also very strange that it is a sequential and not a flappy paddle gearbox in R3E (the latter is used in real life)
Okay, that was mental! I went and learned about the GT3 Macau incident afterwards. Thanks for giving me the motivation but my main lesson is that Macau (Racing Circuit) is shit.
Macau is China's Monte Carlo but I think the track needs to undergo structural reforms to adapt to Formula 1 and thus reduce accidents. F1 in Miami is also interesting.
The only motorsport that I can visualize racing Macau is Moto GP (or any other motorcycle racing league). The track is just big enough to allow motorcyclist to pass one another while, somewhat, not gambling the risk of getting into an accident that'll ruin the entire race.
Don't give Liberty Media any ideas. Having to endure the Monaco GP every year is painful enough. Now we might be getting another borefest in Miami from next season.
I actually did ask this question to my self in about 200-2004ish as I watched a lot of f1, and wondered why no Macau, back in more ignorant and also street circuit obsessed times
Farmer at the dairy farm: Where the hell is Macau
Fart Vader dead
In the south of China if you will. It‘s similar like Hong Kong and independent. Very famous for its casinos etc., basically the asian Las Vegas. It has his not very asian name, because it used to be a portugese colony...
Pls read again. Macau, "muh cow," get it now boiz?
Get out
Lokki 1 Nice. A funny pun and an informative comment in one thread.
Verstappen: *salivates*
Expand Dong Think Verstappen would be quite good here as well😅
Since Monaco I am reluctant to agree..
He already crashed in Macau
When a person who has a Rene Descartes profile and is an F1 fan
Monaco isn’t ridiculous enough as an F1 circuit.
Macau has entered the chat.
*disrespects the slow zone and dodge karma* The jim Jam simply cant be flim flam'd
long braking zones improve overtaking
Challenge: 70 laps at Macau in a F1 car
WIthout contact...?
with realistic damage
with realistic damage, no traction control + the GAMU TAPU DESUMACHE (hands duct taped to the wheel)
And 100% FFB
Snovyro 9: Oh gods
Hey Jimmy, you're not doing realism
It was far too realistic
Give me a chance to drive i'm sure it'll be fine 👌
This is honestly so exciting to watch man, your commentary makes it so intense
Is Macau the only track with a 'slow zone'? I've never heard of this before.
Melco Hairpin is a 'no overtaking' zone because for F3, it is wide enough for only one car to take the optimal lane through.
If you dont het the rule you have to drive the lap once. Then youll get it. 😁😁😁
The only games i can remember having this track is obviously racr room, Asseto corsa (mod) and Race Pro i dont think many ppl know Race Pro but pretty decent game.
I dont know about i racing though if maccau is there.
@@thesunnynationg Race 07 was my introduction to this track. I've never had a race there without it turning into a full on destruction derby lmao
Jimmy, when you said "rubber on rubber, sounds like my weekend" I LOL'D. Good one. :D
Macau should be a karting circuit
Alwin Reid fuk u don’t bully my place
Alwin Reid it will be too big,but the width of the road is just enough for a 3-wide run!
I was about to say F off but I saw that I commented a year ago😂
there's actually already a karting track in Macau lol
Nah this is a touge map but it’s a street road, requires higher skills like you are racing in some mountain roads.
Omg I’m from Macau and I always wonder how Macau GP is like with Formula 1 😂
That's awesome. I love the Macau GP circuit
I lived in coloane for 9 years, love macau and the grand prix
I am from Macau too and also wandered what it will be if F1 is in Macau, Also in 2003 there was a F1 car which drove Macau Track
I am 60 mm away, I came from Hong kong
@@KitKitChanIsaac you're 6cm away... Ok
10:23 lol what u been up to Jimmy, omg! Lol
i love crazy car/track combos like this, tons of fun to drive
also great video jimmer
I could imagine a monster energy f1 team
Hagjon 13 monster vs red bull
This Guia street circuit is what separates the men from the boys. I love this track.
Yep, it's an awesome track and always a great race there.
Later F1 officials: we will have macau in our F1 calendar in 2020
This reminds me of that viral GT car crash...
Too epic for the 2017 GT pile up (20 something GT crushing together in qualification race
Q: What if F1 raced at Macau?
A: It'd be shit and full of safety cars. Just like every other race at Macau.
I hate this track like no other major circuit on this planet.
*looks at the standings*
Hmm, Tachikoma in 2nd and Kusanagi in 5th. *Someone*'s a cyberpunk anime fan
I want to do the Macau hairpin with handbrake..
More relavent since the F3 crash...
As well as gt3 2016. I think the first lap they stopped the whole race cuz of a terrible non fatal crash
Bloody good video matey!!!
You should be a professional commentator...
You belong on the telly :-)

I'm pretty sure jimmer said at some point he has a speech impediment, not sure though. He has done some commentary on a few sim races and he did a brilliant job.
im not talking about Jimmy. I commented this because of "matey" and "telly"
Here in England, the words 'matey' & 'telly' are two very commonly used nouns. :-)
Seems kind of wierd to link a tutorial on how to talk clearly when we are communicating with letters :P
i think US Legends cars would do well in Macau if they ever bothered to race in places other than dirt circles and go-kart tracks. they're smaller than Austin Minis, powered by ~140hp motorbike engines, and are a heck of a handful with their tiny wheelbase, rear-wheel drive, and short gear ratios /watch?v=s_oq3kQLHQg
I am a Macau people!Nice to meet you!
me too

Ahh Macau, reminds me of the totally unrealistic but totally fun Project Gotham on Xbox 😂
Challenge: 6 hours of Macau with an LMP1
Love Macau, always a ton of fun. Love taking the Group 5 cars there, and it's also a ton of fun with a bunch of friends in the NSU's :)
Ohh come on! An F1 race at Macau would be epic as hell!
Awesome video jimmer
I'm loving the Running in The 90's remix at the end.
Coming out of the slow zone is like a rollercoaster
Did they port the v10 sound from f1 2002 game? Sounds exactly the same to me
Driven Acau in Race07, not that icj difficult
Never mind a DNF this would be a Did not dare start for my ability level. Kudos to you jimmy.
My grandpa is from Macau, it would be dope to travel there and watch a race.
Now I know what happened to Sophia in the recent F3 crash... scary...
That's why Race 07 and GTR 2 made so much fun on this Circuit. You just overtake at the Hairpin.
You should host a race with the MP4-30 at Belle isle in iRacing. That sounds like fun for all involved doesn't it. There won't be any death or pileups no no. :^)
you even picked the VIRGIN car to point something out?
Michał Nizio open wheel open cockpit track monster with mind bending aero is a virgin car?
dont care virgin
only VIRGIN don't care :P
Ethan Heisse It's because one of the sponsors for the car is Virgin
I wonder why they bother racing in here. It is like Monaco or Baku but worse
but better*
Actually Macau GP has a rich history with some F1 drivers (eg. Michael Schumacher, Max Verstappen...), much like Monaco GP. The circuit has been around since 60s, and really challenging. Watch last year’s F3 race and you’ll understand
Habsburg on the final corner!
Baku is actually not that bad, just that one castle turn.
Does anybody know which chair jimmer has?
Monaco: Look at how narrow our track is and how sharp our corners are.
Macau: Hold my beer.
I would say there are some corners are impossible to overtake
Hey kinda of a newbie here, what is the deal with the slow zone at the same place every lap?
There's a permanent yellow over the hairpin IRL. Well, it's in the game as well, but I guess Jimmy had flag rules disabled.
What kind of monitor do you use?
1:34
Well, to be fair... we *did* have Rich Energy.
this track is like Baku and Monaco's unwanted child
Very good video but why the is VR view decentrated?
During what races is the hairpin an official slow zone? Or only in this game?
It's not a slow zone, in real life the cars are at maximum attack. However there is just no overtaking because it's too tight.
This track is like if Monaco and Baku had a baby.
Blue flag here would be fun.....
Jim, Jim, Jim Jim the race boi
Watch out for that *wall*
Time to wait for the Macau DLC for Isle of Man TT.
Jimmy ik you love cars but are you watching the world cup? And what team?
"You would never attempt [passing here] in a real F1 car..." Unless your name is Max Verstappen.
You say "Mônaco is a hell in earth"
Me : Macau is the real hell,2020 Liberty put Macau in F1 Schedule
Controversial Comment: I like Macau, you can overtake here, and anyone who hates macau is a big old zolder
That V10 tho P E R F E C T I O N
great vid m8
Btw can u drive the Pagani Zonda R? It's such an epic car, yet it's also very strange that it is a sequential and not a flappy paddle gearbox in R3E (the latter is used in real life)
Morning Jimmer 🙂
Next great commentator haha, Martin Brundle 2.0
Can't think of anywhere worse for F1 than Macau.... and Baku... and Abbey Derby...
Next video in this series, F1 cars at Cadwell park?
you’re wrong jimmer i ask this thing to myself everyday
modern day F1 cars with V10 engines...if only
OmG you brake with your left foot lol?
Challenge: The 24h of Macau
u can't do this in real, but u can try in the game, cause real life, it is the road for normal car, and so many people need to use that road
in real life, when it is night in racing day, the road will open to people to use, another day will close the road again for race
Jimmy should go to Bandimere Speedway to race go karts, im interested how fast he would go
The only motorsport that I can visualize racing Macau is Moto GP (or any other motorcycle racing league). The track is just big enough to allow motorcyclist to pass one another while, somewhat, not gambling the risk of getting into an accident that'll ruin the entire race.
Daniel Sandoval not even, because when a bike crashes here it gets really ugly... R.I.P. Daniel Hegarty
oh dude LOL especially the newer wider cars, not possible. I fucking love Macau.
Game?
You should see how fast the X17 is around the Nordischliefe
Is this ermmm... ZOLDER *eyes start glowing red*
As much as I love to see F1 in Macau, I don't think that is going to happen, the street is too narrow, and the road is too bumpy
More Raceroom!!!
I am from Macau who is from Macau?
Three years too late but to say the least now we know how jimmer got that seat in Goldie. Mr rubber on rubber weekend ;)
is video sped up or something???
"You have to be alert at a street circuit" Joylon Palmer
Kuchenblech_Mafioso well, you do!
This circuit looks fun despite how ridiculous it is for fast stuff.
try cart extreme at macau
Could you make a video where you put a blindfold on and you randomly pick a car mod and see if you can win a race with that car
You should try x2010/14's around here
I was expecting a GT3-style wreck here lmao
Don't give Liberty Media any ideas. Having to endure the Monaco GP every year is painful enough. Now we might be getting another borefest in Miami from next season.
You should do v8 supercars at macau next jimmer.
im drunk while watching this, cant keep up with the speed ahahaahah
Idk, a Monster Energy F1 car still works better than the Audi 90 GTO Monster Energy livery someone used in the IMSA iRacing race earlier this year.
I don't think I could get 'round this track on a bicycle without hitting a wall.
1:50 just like spphia floersch
Anyone else think of Sofia fleorche or whatever her name is but her crash a year or so ago at this track?
I actually did ask this question to my self in about 200-2004ish as I watched a lot of f1, and wondered why no Macau, back in more ignorant and also street circuit obsessed times
this sounds better than the actual f1 cars
