Merseyrail 507017 new livery! at Birkenhead Central 1/3/14

- finally got this thing!
after a brief tip off on Liverpool rail gen, i found out that new liveried 507017 had passed rock ferry at 1030. after tracking the unit down on realtime trains, we set out to birkenhead central, in hope to catch it on film. having already filmed 507002 in hope uni livery, this turned up!
the driver was a really nice guy and blasted a 4 tone (the last 2 high notes you cant really hear) on the way in, and did another 2 under the tunnel on the way out! when it came back a few minutes later ( yellow side facing the camera) he gave us another 3 tone heading for Chester.

Remember 507018 that we got at 'Boring driver day at Sandhills'? Scatty as anything! Had more patch paint on it than the original paint job!
lol i know! some of then even still have the capital of culture branding on them!! from 6 years ago!

How long until it gets graffitied and realise they cant patch paint? LOL

haha! god i cant wait to see that! the other one getting done like this is 507011, but the last time i saw that the graff hadn't been cleaned off! (it was silver paint on a silver livery as well!) so Mrail thought, 'right, we cant be bothered to clean the graffiti off, lets vinyl wrap it instead!'
My bet is, give it a few months and it will look crap as no doubt it would have been graffitied!
i would of thought hope uni 507002 would be a prime target, its pretty much a giant white canvas on wheels! 507010 is probably the most scruffy unit I've ever seen! it seems the graffiti-clean-team have become lazy!
