2024 Chevy Chevelle - When listing some of the most iconic automobiles of the muscle car era, the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS easily makes the top part of the list. The 70/SS was one of the best muscle cars, depending on who you ask.
Typically, the 70/SS Chevy was among the pioneers that changed how we look at automobiles, but the Chevelle nameplate has been gone for almost half a century.
Speculations were floating around that General Motors was set to resurrect the classic Chevrolet muscle car when in 2013, they renewed the Chevelle nameplate. Since then, the automaker has rebooted a handful of history models, but nothing on the Chevy muscle car. The reboot would come from elsewhere.

I am aware its not an official chevy product. , I know a guy that works at the factory.Not really sure if it qualifies as a fan made thing when its a legit company. I would think a Chevelle fan would build something that looks more like a real Chevelle.

PRICE IS WAY TO HIGH FOR THE AVERAGE GUY TO AFFORD. PAID $3000 FOR A 454 SS LS6 4 SPD. BLK, RED INTERIOR BACK IN 1975. THAT WAS HALF OF WHAT A NEW CORVETTE WENT FOR BACK THEN. STILL HAVE MY 64 GTO 389 3X2 4 SPD COUPE. THOSE WERE THE DAYS.

I was hoping they could make the front end a bit more of a flat block...aish ! .....you will need all of that HP to overcome the lack of aerodynamics...........the windshield is still an issue with visibility ......same issue with the Camaro............ not getting exctied......just disappointed.......... could be worse....GM could be coming out with an electric version...........oops spoke too soon

No I would not buy one. If I was wealthy I would buy a 1970 Chevelle SS. Even a 1970 Malibu in "decent" or "fair" condition in $20000 olus. I've had 4 1969 Chevelles and one 1972 in my lifetime. I'm not into new vehicles at all.
With global parts shortages would be best if they cut off 80 percent of vehicles and just discontinue them forever.

These cars when built in the late 60's and early 70's , were built for a general audience's Wallet . Any one could buy them and enjoyed them , but now they are built exclusively for the upper scales of economics and any one else who is in the lower scales cannot afford these 2024 Pontiacs . Sad very sad , again the arrogant American auto manufacturer has not learned its lesson and people will continue to purchase Toyota , which is number one in auto sales in America .
