You know people dont have to be rude. If you didn't like it fine scroll on or leave constructive criticism. Not it sucked. This is someone's hard work. Be an adult.
Have any of you noticed that when these people hear something in horror films they always have to go investigate??? It wouldn't be me! I'm getting the fuck out!
Can’t a man work in peace?! But on a serious note… What did I just watch? A big climax of sounds? Just to end with a black screen? I legit thought my phone had shit itself for a brief moment🧐🤨
The setting had a charming urban familiarity to it, which was nice. The atmosphere was eerie without being overwhelminly so. Music and sound were phenomenal, and did a great job of building up tension and dread. Finally, the actor did a great job of expressing a growing sense of unease without any dialogue! My only two critiques here would be the following: The climax leaves much to be desired. Leaving some things unanswered is fine, but I think the viewer is left too much in the dark here. What, if anything, was going on? Finally, I found myself with a touch of motion sickness throughout due to the camerawork. Might not be an issue for everyone though!
From the comments I’m gathering this was more about the soundtrack than the overall plot or story. If it wasn’t about the sound and music could someone explain to me what this was really about?
I thought this was well done! However, the constant camera wobbling/ swinging triggered my motion sickness, so took away from things a bit. So that would be my only critique.
really sorry to say but for me it has been very disappointing. 1) it doesn't really happen anything 2) it's impossibile to understand what is going on. A man smokes a cigarette, comes back home and start acting like he is in fear...but for what? 3) It's too long for what it is. I understand sometime we don't have millions of dollars for location, special effects and make up artist but, if I may give some suggestion... 1) In a short movie be short, be quick. Make people understand with a single shot or 20 seconds. Sometime just the look of the eyes or a gesture can make the difference. 2) The whole short movie in a single room/house is challenging ok but you have to play with fear. Ask yourself what people may be afraid of when left alone in the middle of the night? 3) The use of sounds, shades and frame is very important but have to be clear about what they are. A noise without any clue on what it is, means nothing. Showing a door that suddenly opens could be ok but what if in the shadow behind the door you can spot for a second the shade of someone standing in the dark? 4) Using the computer and self phone could bring the story into everybody's life but instead of using random latin, which is ok for the exorcist but a little far away in this kind of story, maybe could be nicer to use the monitor/screen of the computer (for example) has a reflective surface. For example, the guy is working at the computer and suddenly sees a dark shadow moving in a room far behind him. If I am not bothering you a lot, I want to try to give you an example on what a short story could be, based on your idea. 1) A guy comes back home late after work. It's tired. 2) Switches on the computer, a little chat with some friends. Suddenly on the screen sees the reflexion of something/someone moving behind him. 3) He turns over, sees nothing. Continues to chat. 4) Soon after he notices as a reflexion on the screen that the door in the room behind him slowly opens. 5) This time he turns over quickly and sees a dark hand disappearing behind the door 6) Tries to call a friend, no line. Tries to get out of the house, door locked. Screams, nobody answers. 7) In the last frame you can see him slowly approaching the door holding the phone in one hand (still trying to call someone) and a big knife in the other. 8) The moment he reaches the door, the lights go off, you here him screaming and when the light turn on again he is gone. 9) After a few second of names (director, story etc), you put the last image. His phone is on the carpet still calling and on the screen you can still see as a reflection the dark shadow disappearing somewhere in the dark. Keep trying and good luck!
Is there going to be a Part 2? Without it, I just watched a skillful buildup to....nothing. Sound and camera work are excellent though.
I think the music and sound effects were excellent. So much terror in their tones forces you to imagine what's about to confront him.

The world needs more people like you, Jennifer! Thank you for the kind words! :)
I love the red glow in the dark keyboard ❤🙌
Did anyone else see Robert Pattinson in this actor, or is it just me lolzs..! Great sound design.
Jamaican Snuggie Fun fact: His actual name is Robert. Coincidence? We think not.
Joe perry of aerosmith lol
"Lolzs"
I see it💯
That’s all I kept looking at. His jawline💯
Nice work..that music😲😲
Nice , can't wait for part II

NICE. ❤👍
That guy just isn't afraid of anything lol.
Terrific sound and music, easily adding to the tension.more please.🎃🎄♥️🎭
Pretty good. Better than most horror shorts I see and the sound design/mixing was truly atmospheric.
Dan Everton we try to keep improving!
Great sound design 🙌
Thanks! We tried to make sure the sound really immerses you into it!
Too much noise and nothing happens, can't see what's on his phone because he moves so quickly, not impressed.
True, that was me! The good discovery was that there were no cups in the sink! Otherwise the whole crew would have been doomed! :)
Radu Ticiu glad we avoided that!
how come he doesnt have any lights on thats what i dont get in these short horror flms no one hardly ever turn on any bright lights
This is why we Americans carry guns.
This was great!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really good scary sound! Good work! Bravo 👏🏼
This is pretty darn good specially since this is a 24 hour challenge

These Disturbances will make you an even Stud for the Scary Night shifts .. Fire Fighting Drills

He has a Hollywood face
We'll let him know!
Very spooky! Loved it !loved the loud sound track! Way cool😁😁😁😁
Great work! Loved it
Glad you liked our work!
Excellent film
Glad you feel that way!
🔥🔥🔥
Great job!
Waith is Finn wolfhard a director and writer?
You had a hell of a challenge! Why did you only have 24 hours? That seems unrealistically arbitrary. Well, you did better than I could do.
It was a self-inflicted challenge, we tried to push ourselves by including limitations and we hope that the result was pretty decent. :)
Nice short horror film, but what did he see or what happened next?? Anybody knows??
Laura Dennis You’ll have to stay tuned for the next part ;)
It needs to be continued...
What was the bouncing sound at the end?
Ending a bit vague, and left me wanting. Just like "Nightcrawler".
Other than that, pretty nice work for a 24h time limit 👍
Thanks! The ending was exactly how it meant to be, making you want more :) Stay tuned for a potential part 2!
For a sec I thought Robert Pattinson 😅

can you upload the part 2 pls
Invest in a tripod or steadycam. And chill on the noise in the soundtrack.
Lou Carvalho We’ll note the feedback for future projects for sure! :)
How dare you use LIGHT MODE? This is a real horror!!
😂😂😂😂
Am I the only one who didn’t understand or catch the ending? Did something happen cuz I didn’t see shit.
We like to throw some cliff hangers here and there :)
Keep em coming👍💯 very phsycological good stuff.
that listed one Glad you liked it! :)
nice style in the shots. very spooky
gothic arthouse thanks you! Stay tuned for more of those!
Tulai doamne ce m am speriat
Rareș Ban înseamnă ca ne-am făcut treaba bine!
Era Radu, care verifica sa vada daca chiuveta inca mai este plina de cani ... :D
Well, the music gave me goose pimples!
Throwing cigarette butts on the street sets a rather poor example for the youth of today.
Smoking is not cool !
It was a good one.. just that it could be little shorter .
Awesome work. Lets be RUclips Friends.
I'm hot for the actor😍😍😍
Very scary now
When in doubt get OUT!!!!
This was so boring I couldn't even finish the full 7 minutes.
Watch these horror films on my mobile phone 👻🤔🙄📱®️😜👍❤️
Light flickering and dark all the time weather day and night or ominous music isn't this represent horror movies
No clue. What a failure.

It's called Night Shift, so I assumed he was working doing something, not home. He was smoking waiting to start his shift. Good constructive ideas.

Not that scary, but it was good
We'll definitely try to keep improving in the future :)
