One of the weekest horror movies I've seen in a long while. The acting was really bad, and I literally laughted when intruder did the jump. It killed all the suspense, up to this point it was watchable. However, after that moment, it was a disaster.

I'm going to guess you're new to making short horror films. If that's the case then this is a good first attempt. I think it would've been better if you had it set at night and studied some other directors/films to see how they amped up the tension/suspense. Also, the kitchen table with folding chairs felt totally out of place. It would've been a lot scarier if he'd been sitting on that padded nook/bench in the kitchen window and the other dude popped up behind him. All I could think was 'why do they have a cheap ass table in an otherwise well furnished house?'. I don't expect a complete story in a short, so the story in this was okay. Keep at it.
Cool short....to the point....the intruder looked like an average young kid but creepy presence at the same time...new subscriber... would like to see more.👻👻👻
i think this was a good shot for a low budget film . the killer /monster needed work but im glad you didnt resort to a silly mask . he was very normal looking though i saw he tried to behave supernatural .the ending instead of sitting in his car , would have expected him to burn rubber to get out of there . in a lot o the shorts they run to the car to find they forgot the keys , that would be the first thing id be sure i had lol . any way good job
well mom knows best lol its well done doppleganger it came across a bit dark .the sharp turn in the basement seemed awkward .i liked the kid the boy next door .he portrayed it well all in all its a good film believable acting
You've got some good shots going on here, so visually it's pretty good, but the biggest thing this is lacking is sensical writing. For example, is it really necessary to tell the audience twice in word and a third time on a note that he's housesitting? When you called your mom, wouldn't you say something more like "hey just letting you know, I made it safe" or something like that? When writing dialogue it personally helps me to pretend I am in the scenario and write what I would actually say, and then figure out how to convey info to the audience afterward. Again, good visuals though.
Wow this was really good! I liked the sound effects you added with the scares. The shots and the camera were top notch HD, felt like I was watching an actual film! Thank you for including me for the behind the scenes, it was fun!

Exactly. Bright ass light everywhere and he has a flashlight. The cuts were horrible too What got me is no reasoning to it... supernatural stuff happened but guy gets away then dies in the car. Who was the killer. I need something
