Hi. I wanted to tell you that I'm an English teacher and usually teaching English phonology course at undergraduate level. I use your video to give my students a taste of native speaker. Your videos are a great help and my students also love watching them and are able to get the right pronunciation. In particular, the videos on stress and intonation are very useful. Thanks for this.
I don't know what to say, teacher!❤ Your explanation is straightforward. I really loved the way you explained to these concepts. I understood 101% and got the motivation to learn more about other pronunciation contents. Thanks a million!
Hi Billie, I want to thank you for your time and effort you put in making the videos. Our teacher uses them in classes and all of them are very helpful.
Dear Teacher. Good morning. I am so grateful for your wonderful lessons. I have watched all your videos more than 100 ! Your lessons are very informative and compound. Could you kindly teach about chunking, phrasing and the difference between chunking, phrasing and the tone unit? And one more thing. Is tone unit the same as thought group? Thank you.

What must I do in order to know How to connect the words together..what are the rules for that ???..really that is my biggest problem..please guide me about the playlist or the lesson that illustrate these rules of joining words
Hello Mustafa! Thank you for watching my videos and your comment :-) You might find this video helpful on connected speech in English: ruclips.net/video/vFU5kqxhD6s/видео.html
Thanks so much for your effort. When I watched your video, I noticed that you pronounced “s” in toys as “s” when according to the rule, it must be “z”. Can you explain? Because Actually I’ve never heard of any native speakers follow that silly “s-es” pronunciation rule.
In final consonants a phenomenon called devoicing occurs, which is closely related to prefortis clipping. End consonants keep the voice when linking to a next word that starts with vowel. Anyway, when devoicing, it is not a strong s just a short and smooth one. Same happens with past tenses ending in -d, you can hear like a soft t instead

Hi Bellie at 15:17 you mean fall in pitch ( falling intonation) or full in pitch (rising intonation)
Hello! I meant 'fall', but it's probably more accurate to say that there is a pitch change in general.
Wonderfull!!...thanks
