    6:37 I love the dump a.k.a. Near Arm Far Leg or Outside Fireman’s Carry. It always seems a little bit easier to finish than a regular Fireman’s if you get stuffed underneath.

    Thank you for this video, and all of your instructionals, I'm learning more here than any other channel.
    I do have 1 question, on the "Russian Tie" and "Underhook" equivalents of this, you have sections like "9 ways to get an underhook" and "ways to get a Russian Tie"
    Do you have any for how to get into an overhook position? So far from this video I've got digging for 1 when the Villain has an Underhook, but is there any handfighting way into an overhook, or other tie ups the Villain can have that I can switch to an overhook position?
    Also this may seem silly, but would you recommend going to a Russian Tie, then releasing the wrist and digging an overhook since I've already got an hand near the armpit?
    TLDR I know, apologies and thanks again for all your work.

    • @ironfaithwrestling
      @ironfaithwrestling Месяц назад +1

      It’s funny that you mentioned that. I think a great technique is getting a Russian tie, letting go of the wrist baiting them to go under hook and then hitting a fireman carry. I’ve had some success with that.
      And over hooks are great positions, but I’m normally not trying to force the over hook because of how dominant the under hook position could be.

  • @counterkidnapping1737
    @counterkidnapping1737 2 месяца назад +1

    Right. Overhook is more likely to counter or defense. It's never a tie up from the beginning.
    Owen Livesey the Judoka + wrestler. He said he never likes overhook. You do not let someone get underhook on you, he said.
    The problem is how can you prevent someone to not get underhook on you ? It's impossible.
