- Australian Army soldiers from 1st Battalion, the Royal Australian Regiment conduct a clearance of Line Creek Junction during Exercise Green Blaze at Townsville Field Training Area, Queensland. The exercise incorporated live fire combat shooting serials, full mission profiles and air mobility operations.

I conducted operation green blaze for a decade but I'm now a retired veteran, if you need any pointers let me know.
Sorry if this is a rude question, but what are the chances of getting an overseas deployment? I'd like to enlist & Infantry seems like a great role, but every ex-Infantry I hear always complain about the total lack of real deployments, and how it felt like they were training for nothing. One put it really well, saying something like "Imagine training carpentry for 4 years, but you never get to build a house". Just worried about this happening if I sign up to one of the combat-centric roles.
@@JAMIK0 I deployed all over the world when I was in and I'm sure you will too. It goes in cycles.

Very weird video. Very uninformed and super technocratic. Typical keyboard arrogance mixed with assumption and post-truth think valued higher that researched and pragmatic thinking. Leading countries, using strategic weapons and navigating conflicting foreign policies requires a high degree of wisdom and understanding of the human spirit more than anything else.
Would recommend refraining ending sentences with “I guess” while building a narrative and tone of fact sharing
