I forgot to mention, but for materia like Avalanche Tifa's TMR, Promise from Childhood, or Summoner Yuna's TMR, Spira's Ray of Light, that say "Increase Chain Modifier for Elemental Chain 100%" or "Increase Chain Modifier for Normal Chain 100%", those do NOT increase the Chain Modifier Cap, they just help you reach the cap faster.

@@mysidia great dude thanks for replying I didn't expect you too or to do it that fast but I'm learning stuff from your vids and saving lapis little by little lol you should also do a vid on what units you would use the free 5 star tickets on if you we're starting over from beginning ya know heroes that while playing you discovered they were far better than you originally thought and if you had to start over again you'd pull for etc ,etc, etc people love videos like that especially when anniversarys come around like now and the devs are throwing treats at you left and right plus you explain things very well of course I'm new so I can't tell if you missing anything you should be saying but from what I can tell you hit on the main things to watch for keep it up man
Glad the video could be of help! Most units have chaining skills these days, so almost everyone is a chainer. Finishers come in a variety of flavours, but generally look for units with a 1 hit LB that has a 200x or higher potency on their LB.
Returning player haven't played since hyoh was meta before all the NV stuff .. who are good combos generally for chainers?? Is hyoh / raegan viable in any form with the new tmr and stmr in the game because so much is diff but if there's new equip I can throw on them that would be best
I did one recently! Check out my 1 year of ffbe video. As for lapis, 3 seasons of story and 5 years of content to catch up on add up. I've certainly had some lucky pulls as well :)
Does sos stmr better to equip for example I have 200% avian killer and I have one materia slot? Will the unit deal more dmg maxing the killer or the sos stmr?
They are both modifiers so whichever is highest will be more important, at least that's what I get from looking at the damage equation. So if you can replace a materia with less than 100 avian killer then Indestructible Light is better. Or if the boss is mixed race it's just better to use Indestructible Light.
Most of my lapis came from doing Seasons 1-3 of the story. I actually still have a bunch of trials, side quests, and chronicle battles to do still, so more lapis to come for me. Otherwise just make sure you keep up with all the limited time events.
You are looking for an autoclicker app, I can't remember the name but if you google FFBE autoclick you will find threads discussing options. You could also ask on the FFBE reddit daily help thread to see what people are currently using :)

I followed this, still no chaining taking place. What am I doing wrong?
Are you dual wielding with some units but single wielding with others? That can affect your chains. Let me know if it's still not working
